They're NOT hickeys Lauren was curious about Awen, and having no seen her for days she thought she would stop on by. Her clawed fingers reached to knock on the door. "Awen, are you there?" She had wondered if Awen had gotten the flowers, and was avoiding her because she was ashamed of embarassed. Maybe it was a dumb idea and she shouldn't of even tried. That's probably why she never put a note on the vase or anything. Surely Awen would geuss it was her anyway, but if she was mad about it, Lauren could play dumb. A blush would of shown on her face if it weren't covered with fur.

"Come in." Awen called from her water bed. Engaged heavily in a game of DOA 4. She had been staying in her room since the Billy incedent, despite everything just wanted the safety of her own room where she could have an electronic eye easily kept on her.
Her arms still had redish welts where Billy's suckers had not wanted to unstick.

Lauren walked on in, a small chuckle comming from her as she noticed Awen at her new Xbox. But the chuckle was short lived as she noticed red sucker like welts on her arms. Not ready for a relationship huh? Then why did she have hickeys all over her arm?
Lauren jumped to conclusions a little too fast, she went over and turned off her xbox, standing right in front of Awen's tv. "WHO did that?" She demanded, her arms crossed and her blood boiling.

Awen barely had time to blink as she saw the furious girl standing before her. She didn't want to tell Lauren, the mongoose was terribly protective and Awen figured Billy would get his eventually, besides she didn't want Lauren didn't hurt by this guy.
But she couldn't lie either. She put down the controller onto her nightstand and looked up at Lauren. "Billy did."

This was the second time Lauren heard the name Billy, she had never met the guy and she was starting to hate him.
"Billy?!" She said with disgust. "Billy... don't you know that he did horrible things to Colche. I THINK he raped her, or molested her or something!" She wasn't quite she of what he did, but it was bad enough to get to the cheetah tremendously. She chuckled sarcastically, "And he does this, you tell me your not ready for a relationship with ANYONE and.. and... you and HIM?" She looked at Awen with disgust. Not very aware that she had assumed this entire matter.

Awen looked dumbly at the enraged blond. It took her a little while to work out exactly what she said. Relationship...? With that skeeze? Awe nwould have laughed were it not for the look on her face.
"His tentacles got stuck to me while he was trying to kill me." She honestly was in no mood for the angst and anger right now.

Lauren huffed a little, "ER... NOW no..." Then she thought a little. "UM... er..." And she stopped, took a deep breath and stuttered a bit, "I'm oh... crap. That's what? He did?" Then it hit her that he tried to kill her, "HE did WHAT?"
Then she felt like a total a**, "Oh s**t, I'm so sorry." But that went past as she felt rage yet again, "I'm going to KILL that guy, as soon as I figure out who the ******** he is!"
She really wasn't sure what to think, the swirl of emotion was too much. She plopped on the ground as she was struck by that emotional wirlwind.

She reached out and patted the girl's shoulder. "Don't worry about it Lauren. He's too dangerous...." SHe shook her head. "Please don't go after him. This time it's not because I don't want retaliation...but I don't want you dead. He has tentacles.... they stick." She held up her arm as an example. "Just think if these got caught around your throat....he couldn't let go even if he regretted trying to kill you, thought better of it, even if he tried."

This time Lauren wasn't listening. To herself, she was invinvible, no one could touch her. And it wasn't only that, Billy resembled something much more personal to her, the fact that he was striking at two of the three people she loved most on the island, didn't help matters at all.
In more ways than one, it felt like he was striking directly at her, trying to lure her out. Lauren shuddered at this. She was obviously taking all of this more personally than she should. And that wasn't Billy's doing at all, that was her hurt in the past.
She looked in a daze across the room, feeling numb. She pulled out her knife, "I can take him." She said, not really looking at anything at all.

Awen finally got out of the tank and moved to tower over the girl and lbock her exit. "No Lauren you can't." She said it terribly sternly. I don't care wat you think you are you won't be able to get away or do much of anything. he has a four limb advantage over you, his suckers will trap you and hurt you. Do not go after the b*****d. You cannot take him. Don't be an idiot."

Her eyes were out in the distance, she didn't hear Awen too well, but when she looked over she saw that she was blocking the exit. Lauren got up, her knife still in her hand.
"I have done this kind of thing since before I even got on this ******** island." Lauren was looking straight into Awen's eyes, cold and emotionless. "It's what keeps my sanity when bastards like him come into my life, I spill blood. Or end up being beat to near death trying." Why was she protecting him anyway?Lauren thought to herself.
It was true, Lauren had dealt with this thing before, but she was lucky those other bastards were pure cowards. She had not really fought anyone more street savy then her, let alone someone with tentacles.

She almost glared at the taller, yet younger, girl. How could she be so stupid? She would risk her life for what, for nothing! Awen was slightly hesitant because Lauren was pissed and had a knife in her hand.
"Put the knife away. Forget it. I don't care what s**t you did before the island, this man is insane. I don't want you to get hurt! Lauren you won'tt be beat near to death you will be beat to death."

She wasn't listening, obviously, "Awen, I WON'T die. I NEED to do this, for Colche, for you and for MYSELF." The memories were too much, Lauren felt if she didn't strike at them, they would never go away. She needed this memory gone and if he kept doing this, they would be there everytime his name was mentioned.
Grimy men, slimy faces in the dark came to her mind. You like that little girl? Can't run to daddy can you? The horrible things they said, the horrible things they did to her. They were surfaced.
Lauren's mind locked up, she dropped the knife to the floor, trembling.

Awen was about to protest some more when the distant stare came to Lauren's face. When she dropped the knife Awen knew soemthing was terribly wrong. She took her shoulder in her hand and tried to help her to the floor...so she didn't fall on hte knife or something.
"Lauren.... hey..hun it's okay..."
