"So you're like a snow fox... I see." Anna smiled gently and apologetically. "I'm sorry if I sounded as if you looked odd. You just look so different!" Anna, regardless of her age, managed to learn something new almost every day. This was definitely a learning experience. "But, I can still see you're the same Damien, even with white wings and blonde hair. Come, I haven't seen you in days. I'm so sorry... all this evil spirit nonsense has called for meetings, traveling, plans..."
Anna held out her arms to him in the hopes that she would receive a hug. She was a very huggy person, even to those who weren't. "I do hope you weren't sitting here for too long. I'm so sorry if you were..."

Damien stood up and grinned slightly as he hugged his elven friend. "Not that long. Besides, not like I have anything better to do these days." He chuckled lightly. He folded up his now white wings and dusted off his pants. "Well, now that I know you're alive, I guess I'll go get a bit of exercise." He said as he quickly yet quietly walked over to the door. "Lets just hope the birds don't mistake me for one of them." Damien said as he winked, opening the door to the office and quietly shutting it when he was completely through. He sighed softly once he was out of the room. He silently made his way down the hall and out of the building.

"You'll be sure to make new friends if they do," she said, chuckling. Anna was rather disappointed to see him leave so soon, but that was Damien. Here one moment, gone the next. "Have a good day! Stay warm!" she called after him, hoping her words reached his ears.
Anna was left alone in her rather quiet office. There were only a few things to be done that day, though nothing was really arduous. How dull. Even the books in her office didn't need tidying... She could feel the enchanted ones reaching out to her, though. Oh, but she couldn't read, not then.
The lovely elf took her seat at her desk, and dug out her day's work. Dull indeed.

Nate slowly walked down the hallway, nervous, not knowing what to expect. He placed his duffel bag down by the door and knocked lightly just to make sure the Principal Teacher wasn't busy...that is if he/she was even there.

Anna looked up quickly from her desk. "One moment!" she called out as she shuffled papers to the corners of her desk so they would be out of the way.
Annabelle Souris stood lightly, and crossed the room so she could open the door herself. "Why hello!" she said brightly, stepping aside to let her guest in. Thank goodness someone had come, or she would have been bound to nod off at her desk.
"Please, do take a seat. Would you like any tea or cookies? I'm sure you've had quite the day..." As most students would have getting to the Grove with half their lives upon their backs.

Nate sweat-dropped slightly as he sat down in the offered seat, placing his duffel bag on the floor beside him.
"Neither is fine." He said as he smiled slightly while rubbing his neck nervously, a habit of his.

"Ah, alright then." Anna took her seat as well, and with a smile, extended her hand. "I'm Miss Annabelle Souris. May I see your letter so that I may welcome you to the Academy?"
Although she was a rather peaceful, light person, she couldn't help but notice that Nate seemed a bit out of order. But, she had to keep reminding herself that not everyone was so eager to explore new places as she was, or so open to different surroundings.

Nathan leaned over to reach into his duffel bag. After rummaging for a few seconds, he pulled out the letter. He first unfolded it then handed it to Annabelle. All the while, he was more silent then he ever had been.
Perhaps it was because he was silently, and unknowing, analyzing Annabelle. From as much as he could tell, she was an elf, and a cheery one at that.

"Ah!" Her light brown eyes had scanned and gleaned all necessary information from the letter within seconds. "Welcome, Nathan. I hope you'll enjoy yourself here."
With her free hand, Anna pulled out a large envelope from her desk and handed it to him. "Here's a packet of information about... well, everything. But please allow me to just outline a few points before you're on your way."
Her hand pulled out a chart of rooms. After seeing where he would be, Anna smiled. "You'll be living in the Oak dorms, in room 107. The dorms are all exclusive, so no peeking for the girls in Maple, and no venturing into Keystone. Everyone likes their privacy. People in the Gatehouse, especially, like their privacy. I'd suggest steering clear of that building."
Anna stopped in case he had questions.

Nathan nodded slightly as he glanced at the map while literally absorbing all the information given to him.
He grabbed the large envelope Annabelle had handed to him and put it into his duffel bag.

"Moline is where you should go to buy any needed supplies, uniforms, or food for the dorms. Ooh, and you're just in time for a formal ball. It's a lovely way to meet people, you really should go."
Anna smiled once more, wondering if she had forgotten anything. No questions had been posed, so there seemed to be nothing more to say. Just to be sure, though... "So, are you all ready to set out in this new place?" She herself had to be leaving soon to be ready for the ball. Pyralis and her would surely be going together, but they'd been so busy, neither had taken the time to ask.

"I wouldn't mind meeting some new people..." Nathan said as he slowly stood up and left the office, his duffel bag in tow.

"Ah..." Anna was slightly discouraged at his leaving, but it was no matter. He had heard everything he needed to, had his room key, and would be off, to be sure.
She herself stood up from her desk, retrieved her own things, and made ready to leave her office. There was a ball to be had, and she had to get ready for her escort. It was sure to be a magical night, indeed.

Any new students coming in during this event should PM either myself or Gleesh about admittance. Obviously Anna's not in her office at the moment, and I'd hate to have anyone miss the ball because of a minor detail.

(I think the ball's over, right? sweatdrop )
A rather flustered Elliot Ford stood poised just outside of the Principal's office, a brand new overly large sports... Bag... Thing. Flung messily over his left shoulder, and his right fist raised in an almost ludicrous position to hover over the door wooden door before his frozen figure. To knock, or not to knock- THAT was the question; and it was one that (currently) took a whole lot of pondering. If he DID knock, and admit that he had received a letter, then he'd be stuck here under some kind of weird surveilance thing for... For... For more than he'd like! But then again, if he DIDN'T knock, and just decided to give this whole joke up as a bad job, he'd be 'abandoning his education' and have to deal with -he shuddered inwardly at the idea of it- his /mother/.
A grimace of agitation skated its way across his flushed face to ruin zombie routine, chewing almost absentmindedly on his bottom lip thouh still not deeming it necessary to move either of his hands. Indecision... The smiter of all but the decisive. He /hated/ being smited. One teensy knock couldn't hurt, could it? One. Teensy. Knock. The teen finally gave in, rapping his knuckles once against the aging door and flinching slightly as its echo reached his ears, muscles tensed as if ready to either spring or take off racing down the hallway. Well... This was fun.
