"I'll clean that up." the monk said as he moved into the kitchen and directed Lucind out. He poured another glass of the drink for the woman and handed it to her before he got to work.

Picking up the empty glass that was on the floor, he first put it away and then put some paper towel over the spill to soak up the contents from the floor. Leaving that, he rinsed the glass off and then put it in the dishwasher for later before he got a mop to clean up the mess on the floor.

She thanked him and listened what he was doing, drinking the juice and shoving her free hand in the pocket of her black, woolen coat she was wearing over her pajamas.

For a moment she thought of her brother, wondering if he'd already left Latent or if he'd found himself another place to stay overnight.

"You know," she suddenly spoke thoughtfully,"when we arrived here and during the first week I thought it could be intriguing to find a way to show you what it means to feel. But now I'm not sure anymore if that's such a good idea.
I mean, I didn't even ask you what you think about it...ah well, but then you don't really care, ne?^^°"

Kraun said nothing. Either he didnt know what to say, or how to say it. Either way, he put the thought aside and finished cleaning before putting the mop away. Perhaps the conversation like this would be best at another time. And thus, the most that came out of him was a sort of soft sigh.

Another reaction of the man which confused her a little. She'd expected something like, "Indeed.", or just a humming, but no sigh.

Lucind shrugged and took the last sip, then asked Kraun to put this glass away, too, and lead her up the stairs into her room where she wanted to listen to music while waiting for the sandman.

The monk took the empty glass, and like the one before, rinsed it out before putting it in the washing machine.

Taking the woman's hand, he led her up into her room once again, not bothering to turn on any of the lights, as neither Lucind or himself needed them. He guided her towards her bed and asked what she'd like to listen to.

She told him he could just start the cd being in the stereo: it was a sampler with new classic pieces, mainly from various soundtracks.

Lucind took of her jacket and placed it at her bed's end before crawling under the sheets. She didn't lie down though and waited for the music to start.

He turned the machine on and pressed the cd button, letting it run on its own. As the woman put her jacket down, the monk took it and draped it over the back of a chair. He patted her shoulder and then left, his voice barely a whisper, "Goodnight."

"G'night, Kraun," she replied automatically and nuzzled into her blanket.
The music helped her blending out everything that had happened today and falling asleep soon.

However, when she awoke the next morning Lucind was slightly frustrated after finding her eyes still didn't work properly. She scratched her head and hummed. After all, the ritual had only been on Sunday afternoon and now it was only Tuesday morning.

At least she didn't feel weak or exhausted anymore - and she craved for having a coffee: an indication that the process of recovery proceeded.

Like most other days, there was nothing too special about the mornings. However, this morning, the monk was in the kitchen, cooking a light breakfast for the half-siren by the time she woke up. When she would wander down into the kitchen, he would have finished and just plated the food. "Good morning." he said as the woman stepped in, greeting her in the morning as he pulled out a chair for her to sit down on.

"Good...morning." She stated and sniffed, surprised Kraun had already made breakfast.

Lucind sat down and asked him what else there was on her plate besides stirred egg - this she could definitely smell.

When she finally had a mug of hot coffee with milk and sugar in her hands she sighed happily and wished for the day to stay this nice.

"Croissants and assorted fruits on the side." he answered as he pulled out a chair and sat down. The breakfast itself was nothing extraordinary, but something simple.

She was absolutely contented with what Kraun had made her for breakfast.
Lucind put a single grape in her mouth and munched on it, then asked how late it was for she wanted to know when the others were to come.

It was mid morning, and so the monk answered her with that as she ate. This of course, meant that there was a little time before the others would arrive if they came just past mid morning.

"I see... Guess I have to find an occupation for the day then cause there's nothing really I could do for the store now - besides from doing calls, but there aren't any to do at the moment." She shrugged and bit into a croissant.

When she'd finished breakfast Lucind thanked the monk again and went up to get dressed.

During the time Lucind would be changing, the monk would be cleaning up the rest of the breakfast and the kitchen. When he finished, the others would just start to enter the building. He greeted them and then let them run the store as her went down into the cellars.

Downstairs, Kraun put on the extra set of robes the half-siren had been so kind to provide and the pair of glasses which made him bearable to look at. That done, he went back up into the library for the day. Perhaps some new books had come in.
