"Reoku eh? Nice to meet ya," she gave a faint smile, the corners of her mouth turning up into a smile briefly. "The name's Rinoa, I'd give you my last name, but then I'd have to kill you." Adding a little wink onto the end, she released a little chuckle. She was seeming to ease up a bit, as if the tension in the room was slowly dissolving to a more easy-going atmosphere that seemed to surround them. "So, what happened to you?" Arching her eyebrow, it was a question she certainly had been wondering for a while, those were no simple injuries, especially for someone so young as Reoku appeared to be. Either there was a fantastic duel that she missed--unfortuantely--or she was beaten easily over some unknown matter.

Reoku grew more relaxed knowing that they both started to feel more comfortable around each other, and she gave a slight giggle at Rinoa's small joke. But Rinoa's question caused her pupils to shrink she then looked down at her hands gripping the blanket, she didn't think Rinoa would believe her but only Xymu knew what had happened, she tried to talk to her in her mind but she got no response. Whatever Xymu had been involved in it must of been truly a epic battle, so she would just have to tell her the truth, Reoku was never a good lier anyway. "Um...I doubt your gonna believe me....but....um....I don't actually know..." she said keeping her eyes from looking at Rinoa.

The arch in her eyebrow seemed to increase ever so slightly as her green eyes passed over Reoku, studying her reaction, her body language, the fact that she couldn't make eye contact was pointing towards a lie. The girl looked immediately uncomfortable and out of place, as if with-holding the information. Uncrossing her arms she threw them up in the air, shrugging her shoulders, "hey, it's none of my business," she spoke in return before folding her arms behind her back, resting her hands on the wall. "I can tell you now the doc ain't gonna like that excuse though."

Reoku quickly looked up from hearing Rinoa's response, she then glance back in front of her "I Know....But....It's really the truth..." She knew the doctor wouldn't be happy, she just wanted Xymu to wake up, even if it was just for a few minutes to explain everything....otherwise she didn't know what would happen. "Come on Xymu....Answer me....please" she said quietly, she really didn't care if Rinoa heard her or not, for the first time Xymu was injured so bad she couldn't talk to Reoku. ~ Xymu please.....even if its just something small....anything.... ~ Xymu had just a bit of energy left in her so she said one word and showed her a quick flash of several images which had happened just behind Riverrun castle. She then gave a gasp and suddenly looked towards the door, She couldn't believe what Xymu had been through...Just to keep Riverrun safe.
"Rinoa.....I....I remember what happened.....Do.....Do you want to know?" she said turning to look at Rinoa with sad eyes.

Perking her ears forward, Reoku was certainly a strange girl and who the heck was Xymu? Listening intently, unconsciously leaning forward to try to hear her better. Once again her curiosity was getting the better of her as she eyed the girl. Was she bipolar or something? Her eyes were narrowing, concentrating on the girl, she was interesting, intriging as she watched her, what was she doing? Suddenly, she jumped back, smacking her head on the wall at the unexpected gasp, as if she had just experienced something unimaginable. Wincing, closing one eye as she glanced up, as if she could see the back of her head by doing so, raising her hand as she rubbed the tender spot on her head, turning her attention back to Reoku, "sure, tell me." She spoke, she couldn't just leave her hanging now.

Reoku gave a deep sigh..."The only things i can remember is magic, Blasts, and clashing of swords and powers...everything else is kinda vague but there is one thing i can remember clearly........Vaste Lorde....." Reoku could remember other things so she thought she might as well get it all out rather than hold it back. "There was 3 other figures around me.....one was helping me while the other two who called them selves Vaste Lords were wearing pure white suits....I know.....I know that.....I got battered pretty badly.....I.....I tried to stop them from getting something....But i can't remember....what..." She then held her head, for her head was beginning to hurt, She then decided to stop and see what Rinoa thought of what she remembered so far, so she turned her head slightly to look at Rinoa to see what her reaction was, to see if it would be wise to continue.

Listening in silence, her eyes falling to the floor, nearly closing, as if trying to picture the image. Hoping it wouldn't appear as if she was dosing off or simply uninterested in the memories Reoku seemed to posses, that was simply her best way to form the image and get a more vivid picture in her head. Her once placid expression and smooth forward seemd to disappear, creases lining her forehead as she concentrated. Vaste Lords? The sounded somewhat familiar, as if a distant memory but she could get it past that. It seemed only a memory that could not be retreived, despite how she tried. She'd simply have to wait for it to come back to her on it's own free will then, forcing it only seemed to make it draw farther away, just out of reach as she tuned back into Reoku, hoping she hadn't missed too much. Glancing up, the girl had stopped, she'd left off at the 'wearing pure white suits...' part but everything after that seemed to have been missed, it couldn't have been too important. Pursing her lips together she crossed her arms, her tail swaying behind her, she looked a bit disatisfied with the news but she nodded her head slightly, "continue," she spoke, there had to be more and she could easily pick up where she left off.

Reoku gave a gental sigh as she pulled her hand away from her head slowly. Her mind began to try and relief her memory of the images Xymu had showed her but she decided to get the last little bit out bfore her mind closed. "I remember that....the one who was helping was an old friend.....but i can't remember his name. Also Whatever the Vaste Lordes came for.....I think they found it....But all i know is....One of them seemed kind of....Sad" She finished remembering she then leaned back in the bed, her mind acheing from remembering things which she wouldn't want to remember later on. She had a bad feeling about what the Vaste Lordes are up to but she didn't want to let them get away with it, for riverrin could be indanger yet again.

Though the story was a bit vague on any real details, the importance of the situation was obvious to the girl, and apparently the memories were rather painful and straining as she rested back on her bed. Though the Vaste Lordes still seemed familiar, any memories of her own of them were still fuzzy, but she was pretty sure she'd bumped into them at some time in her life. You'd think you'd be able to remember something like that. A soft sigh escaped her lips, this 'old friend' couldn't be much better off then Reoku if he was fighting alongside of her, unless he abandoned her in the battle, that could explain the extensive injuries she had suffered. Locking away the information, though she wasn't exactly sure if she'd ever really need it again, she really didn't have any reason to defend the girl or help out. Unless of course there was a bounty on them, the idea of gold always seemed to spark her interest in any situation--usually anyway. "You should get some rest while we wait for the doctor," Rinoa offered, changing the subject rather then giving her thoughts on the subject. She didn't know what she would do once she was debriefed by the doctor, not that she really had any information of her own, other then what Reoku had told her.

Reoku gave a sigh and nodded, she then shut her eyes and drifted off. About ten minutes later the doctor and 1 of the nurses returned. "Sorry about the long delay, we had another emergency to take care off" the doctor looked over towards the bed and saw Reoku asleep, the doctor closed his eyes and sighed and gave a signal to the nurse who sat near Reoku's bed. "Would you mind coming with me please?" he said as he walked down the hall to another room he opened the door and waited for Rinoa to walk inside. The room had two seats and a table inside with a glass of water for them each. "Now would you mind telling me what happened?"

Letting the girl sleep--she certainly seemed to need the rest--Rinoa just stood in silence, waiting for the doctor to return. However, she didn't have to wait for long, thankfully, as he soon returned. Trusting the kid in the hands of the nurse she followed after the doctor, "sure thing," she spoke in response to his simple request, after all, that's what she had been waiting around for in the first place right? Stepping out of Reoku's room, they moved down the hallway as he lead her to another room, stepping inside as he held the door for her, glancing about quickly. The room was plain and simple. Moving forward, she pulled out a chair and plopped down, resting her elbows on the table, ignoring the glass of water, she wasn't that thirsty at the moment and water seemed weak compared to her typical choice of liquid. "I wasn't at the scene when she got hurt, so I am really clueless as to what actually happened to her," Rinoa stated first and foremost, as if to clear her name of being charged for harming the girl. "I guess she fought against some Vaste Lordes or something, I dunno, the story was pretty unclear, she was just telling a bit of it to me before she dozed off." Rinoa wasn't sure why she wasn't revealing everything she knew, it felt like she had already said too much to begin with in the first place. Everything seemed out of place and somehow wrong. Maybe her typical uneasiness about hospitals was returning, or simply the fact that the room seemed to be so small and the lights a bit dimmer then she had been used to, though her eyes quickly adjusted to the difference. It felt as if she was on trial by the way the room was set up, giving off an unwelcoming feel to it.

No one had seen head nor foot of Senther as he had been working away, The sound of muttering complicated calculations came from one of the city walls towers, A couple of guards standing watch as they seemed to be talking between themselves as they watched Senther messing with some sort of machine. Suddenly one guard stepped forward and spoke up. "Um, Sir? Are you sure you know what your doing? I mean the idea seems good for the city... but it looks complicated." Suddenly Senther looked over his shoulder his anchor resting against what looked like some sort of mechanical turret as he'd stand up and turn around, both his arms were in slings as they his arms still felt numb from the dislocation and the quick relocation. It was a wonder how he was working, then his tools hovered around him, thanks to his power of magnetism. "Well its a magic and technology I'm not yet too comfortable with using, but from blue prints and test runs, it seems to work accordingly ... So yes, it is complicated and it will help the town, as long as you only call a great Scientist or Mage to when something goes wrong it should be fine..." Senther stated as he would would turn around continuing his work, after a few more moments of tinkering and the sound of a torch blasting, Senther gets back up, allowing a metal bolt to lift up a cloth as he'd wipe his forehead of any sweat. "That should the be last installment, I'll fire it up then shall I?" Senther stated in a sarcastic voice as he looked towards the guards, hinting towards his arms. The guards quickly pulled a slightly embarrassed face and nodded as they would then step forward, Senther then hinted towards a couple of leavers. "Pull those two leavers down and then enter the pin code: A83D. then hit enter and she should be up and running..." Senther stated as they would carry out the instructions that he said, suddenly many of the pipes shone brightly as the guards jumped back with great worry. Senther then smiled greatly as he would step to the edge of the said tower, looking out as he saw the different coloured lights shining from each tower as he'd nod to himself in self accomplishment. "It all seems set, this should help greatly ... and encourage a lot of civilians to come back to your city..." Senther stated as he had set up a defense system to help solve the problem of buildings getting destroyed by fighting. All the towers have a sensory radius of the city, and each time a fight begins between people who seem to have high energy levels the towers emit a series of beams above them where they would then converge down engulfing the said people in a bright ray of light, they'd then find themselves within the same place but the light had gone, the city looked the same but it was an alternate dimensional version of the city, allowing destruction to take place but not cause damage to the actual city.

Seijuro walked out slowly behind Senther and had a small disk like cup in his hand smiling. He took a small Sip, The small cup contained Sake which was an alcoholic beverage but one to be taken in small amounts and that is meant to be enjoyed. He chuckled a bit and closed his eyes as he drank again and spoke to Senther. "Amazing, You saw my technique 'Dimensional Barrier' only twice and somehow you were able to replicate it and create a machine that does the exact same thing. Amazing. You are pretty smart." Seijuro smiled again and poured himself some of the drink and looked over at Senther reopening his eyes. "Sake?" He was asking Senther if he would as well like a drink of it to maybe join him and show that he was being nice towards him.

The doctor gave a sigh as if to say 'yes i know you told me this before' kind of thing but did it suterly so she wouldn't notice, "Yes....You made the same statement before" The doctor looked up though at hearing the name Vaste Lord, It sounded quite unwelcoming to him and he could tell from the look on the girls face that she wasn't lying, The room grew quite silent, at least for 2 minutes the doctor than gave another sigh as he stood up. "Unfortunately, we will need to hear the girls statement to see if they match in some way. So until then i would ask for you to remain here while i go and meet with the nurse to see what she found out" The doctor said as he left the room. The doctor made his way back to Reoku's room and noticed she was talking to the nurse, the doctor made his way into the room and then decided to see if she was feeling any better "Are you feeling alright now?" Reoku then gave a nod "Yes thank you." The doctor then lead the nurse out of the room and asked her what Reoku had said what had happened. The nurse then started to talk about a Big battle, Treasure, and Vaste Lords The doctor then held up his hand to signal 'I have heard enough' and dismissed the nurse for the time being, He then made his way back to the room Rinoa was in and opened the door with a smile "Ok, Everything seems to be in order you are free to leave now or head back to the room it fine with us." He then turned around and was about to walk forward when he said "By The Way...Thank you for helping that girl out. If it wasn't for you she could of died on the streets." he said as he walked away to continue with his other duties.
Reoku was now a lot more refreshed than when she first realized she was in the hospital she was just enjoying the small breeze the air outside was bringing in to the white hospital and she was wondering if Rinoa was going to come back or not.
