"That depends on who you ask." Elliot stepped into the hangers, revolver once again holstered out of sight. "What is it you wished to talk about? And do you not need any sleep at all?"

he solemny shakes his head, all weaponry out of sight as well he simply steps off the crate and bumps it with his foot

"She snuck this into the cargo, ive had clanks examining the box to make sure its not explosives....the other thing is i want to mount my gun on the ship sometime in the morning if you deem it ready"

he crosses his arms ove his chest, his gaze unwaivering in the dark of the room

"What is hers is her business. Just because she chooses to conduct her business at night does not make it worthy of your intrusion, though I can see where you might have concern. I suggest that as she is your crew mate, should you have any concerns you should probably take them up with her personally, so as not to sew distrust if you conduct you investigation in secret."

Elliot paused for thought.

"And as for your weapon, perhaps a demonstration of it firing would be advisable. Positioning it would depend on how much motion you would want, and how much arch is traces. For now, I think the upper deck would be the most suitable place for it firing, but not very practical in all other aspects, so I would advise that we wait for morning to discuss this with the captain."

Back up on deck:
Daniel extended his own arm in return shaking Ace's hand. small hisses can be heard as the arms moves.

"We need mechanics to be sure. I'm Captain Daniel and this is the Khaos, he gestures to the ship. I have been having a problem with the engines, they appear to be in decent working order, however they have been modified from the single props they appear to be. Inside is a sort of fuel injection system and spiral cut exhaust. I am good with small repairs but as for fine tuning im rather lost. I haven't sailed with the Khaos yet, but i hope to today."

"I would very much appreciate your help in getting this girl running, I cant pay much till we get this ship running freight or passengers. but we can start with free room and board. Please pick any cabin unclaimed as your own. our hold is also equip[ped with a small forge for repairs and fabricating custom parts as needed."

Looking around and failing to see any luggage nearby Daniel asks if Ace had any things he would need sent to the ship.

((I think you've got the location wrong Nysth, not that it's anything big but I just had a confusing seconds trying to figure out if we were on the same page lol. My clank and all the items I've brought aboard are not in the hold but rather the medbay. Just making a note.))

Abigail opened her mouth to deliver a clever quip to this strange fellow, something short and undeniably annoyed but before she could speak to either him or Eli they both retreated. Shoving her pistol back into her pocket and clenching her hands in frustration, she turned on her heel and walked towards her room. She didn't know what made her move annoyed, the fact that some blade happy stranger had been following her with malicious intent or that this same man was supposidly a new crew member and one that she was expected to treat no less.

Slamming the door closed behind her and flinging her hat across the room, Abigail made short work of removing her dressy clothes and stood a few moments in her pantaloons, wondering if at this point it was even worth putting on her nightgown. Deciding it wasn't, she opted to take a soothing shower. When she came out, Abigail was relieved to don a fresh change of clothing. The cotton skirt was simple and her white shirt was cooling which helped her to feel a little more relaxed. Grabbing a pair of flat heeled boots, Abigail left her bed-which she was too wound up to even use- and headed back to the medbay to see how far the clank had gotten.

[[i see slight mistake razz ill jus edit it later lol]

having his conversation with eli not went so well, his arm bothering him something fierce he makes his way up to the med lab, taking a seat holding his very noticably swollen sholder he looks about not entirely paying any due attetion to what the items were or what they did in this room but simply jus keeping his eyes busy as he waited for the docter to get in

((S'all good.))

Abigail cracked her knuckles, whistling as she walked into the medbay. Picking up one of her bags, she stiffened, suddenly realizing someone was in the room. Glancing over her shoulder she frowned upon seeing who was sitting there. Her eye twitched but she looked him over for a problem, crossing her arms over her chest and leaning against her desk while she glared. Medical or not, any person could see his shoulder was rather perturbing but she was still a wee bit sore from his earlier near homicide. Cocking her head she raised an eyebrow.

"Mm, come back to stick a knife in me have you?"

he smirks only for a second pulling the knife from his pocket and showing it to her laying it on her desk

"Only if you want me to Doc."

he winks at her with a smile and shakes his head his sholder throbbing

"NO that was just a missunderstanding im afraid and im sorry about that its just i busted my arm the wrong way the other day"

Abigail eyed the knife on the table and suppressed a smirk herself.

"And busting your arm makes it alright to sneak up on innocent people?" She eyed his shoulder and went for a cabinet, pulling out a small vial, syringe and needle. She then located alcohol swabs and fresh bandages.

Placing the items on a table near the man-she still had no idea who this person was- she raised a brow again and put her hands on her hips as she stood in front of him. From the looks of it the shoulder needed to be popped back into place and that was usually rather painful so she'd brought out a vial that once injected would keep his muscle relaxed enough that she could move it about freely but there was always the possibility that she'd need to call in a crew member to hold him while she pushed it or get the clank to restrain him. There was also the possibility that he'd been hit with something and would need tetanus shot for the fellow hadn't exactly explained what had happened.

"If I start poking about the injured area, need I worry about tripwires or will I be safe?" She let a small grin slide.

lookng up at her, away from the syringe and needles he shakes his head, pointing to where the injury happen he calmly explains to her hoping that she might shrug off the event from earlier as it had been a mistke purely to keep the crew in good order, the scars on his arm enlarged due to the size of the swollen area, much of the skin covered in scar tissue

"I was working and i turned to fast it may need to be put back in the socket"

shaking one of the small vials looking it over, noticing the small bits of morning sun light creeping over the shp.

"I didnt know how to find the doctor so i figured this might be the place, im still a new crew memeber it seems we all are"

When he began to speak, Abigail's hands went to work. Over the skin to feel for breaks, lightly over the shouldler to feel how far it had come out and how much it would take to put back in. She noted the scars but ignored them for the time being; past wounds were not going to come off any time soon and she would not dwell on them. There were rags and cords strapped over his arm and the effect was almost like putting a band-aid on a cracked skull. Smirking again she glanced at the man's face, now working to remove the mess.

"Who on earth put all this on you and why? Wasn't going to do much." Removing the last of it, she stared at him. "Alright, I've got to relocate it before it sets too long as is. Now I don't have the upper body strength to push it back myself but that's what braces and the like are for but even so I'll be using a great deal of force and traction to get it back in there. Then we can worry about these burn marks."

Turning her back to him, she picked up a vial-muscle relaxant- and then faced him.

"I can either give you a short acting sedative or muscle relaxant. They won't do much to lessen the pain but the quicker its done the quicker I can get you feeling infinately better. Or we can always get you drunk, that seems to make some men feel less pain." She raised an eyebrow and leaned back against the table. "Which'll it be?"

"The bottle before the needle Doc, and im no achohalic i jst choose the one without pointy objects"

he smiled up at her his hand on his arm he looks p in thoguht for just a moment before looking back at her
"I possibly have the upper body strength in my other arm if you just instruct how to do it then it can be done"

Abigail laughed a bit and rolled her eyes jokingly.

"How did I not see that one coming?" Pushing herself lightly off the table, she went to yet another cabinet and retrieved a bottle and shot glass.

Placing the glass on the table, she quickly filled it with booze and turned around to face him again. First she held up the glass.

"This is for me," She handed him the bottle. "And this is for you."

She sat back on the table again and downed the glass, eyeing him as she went.

"And don't even think about doing it yourself, if you want to be able to use that arm properly ever again you'll let little old me have a go at it. You may have the strength in that other arm now but if you've ever heard the sounds that come from setting dislocated joints you'd know that strength doesn't last long." She smiled a bit. "Don't worry though, you let me know when that booze starts kicking in and we'll see what we can do to make the reduction go as quickly as possible."

Abigail began fiddling with the bandages and whatnot she had pulled out earlier, soaking pads in antiseptic so that it would be ready for wrapping once the bone was set.

he smiled, it being a bit of a strange situation he lets the doctor down her shot glass before taking the bottle, pressing his lips against it to take several loud gulps, poping the cap back on about a quarter of it missing he leans back

"I say lets do this right away MA'amso that when the pain gets really abd the booze works"

he attempts to make himself ready not entirely sure what to do he simply lets go of his shoulder, the strong drink making his vision slightly blurred

"Hmmm.... I don't know yet, I'll just take a look at the engines for now until I know this vessel better. I'll tell you when I'm done.... Captain?"

Ace was surprised by the fact that he actually got to do what ever he wanted on this airship and that he actually called a person captain. For some reason he felt that he could trust this man and that was a rare thing for Archie Marsh.
As it was getting late Ace hurried to the engine's so that he could take a quick look at them. They had been, according to Daniel, modified by the previous owners. And he was correct indeed. To the normal eye they were single prop engines with an exhaust on the back, but once you got inside you could see the "real deal".
Inside the engine had been modified, it had crude fuel injection system and a spiral cut exhaust that didn't at all function like a normal exhaust. There wasn't much Ace could do really, these engines were superb. But Ace did have a few tricks up his sleeve to actually make these ship run smoother and a little bit faster.

"I bet the captain doesn't know how great of a ship he actually got his hands on..."

Archie Marsh began his tuning on the engines, he had seen an amazing machine and would be extremely hard for him to go to bed now until he had seen it all on these engines. But that's how he was a machine freak.
