She twirled and spun with the joy of finally succeeding at mixing bits of sand and gravel together, which normally doesn't make for much in the happiness and fn department, but Nadeshiko gets very happy when she learns to do something. Then, of course, she remembered that she wasn't finished. Her little cement pile was still quite small. She continued to pour in more gravel and slowly stirred in some water, as the muscular girl who had introduced herself as Orika, a student who was in her last year at the academy, had suggested. Nadeshiko was feeling jubilent enough to actually speak up. " Thank you for your help Orika. My name's Rin'Egan Nadeshiko, in case you didn't catch it before." She beamed a smile in Orika's direction, and then tried to return Akiko's favour. She stepped towards her and took a peek at her concoction. Nadeshiko smiled at Akiko. " I believe that's correct. I guess as long as you keep mixing it like that, you'll be done in no time. " Nadeshiko went back to adding more of the mixture into the concrete, and squeaked again when the colour and consistency of it remained the same.

With a small sigh, she followed the boy and took a look at the blue prints for the first time. She almost laughed when the boy asked her if she known anything about this line of work. "I have no experience in this, and I never thought I would have to deal with it..." she mumbled with a small smirk on her face. After a moment, she shook her head and then went back to looking at the blueprints, trying to see if she could figure anything out... and she was struggling. She didn't have any clue what she was supposed to do or where to begin... Why they left this kind of work to students of young ages... why not get the older students to do this...
"Okay, why don't we start with a straight piece? If it's going to be starting at the well, then we are going to want to put together some straight pieces to lead from the well to the new apartment complex..." she stated, looking at the blueprints intently. She wasn't sure if the piping system was going to be laid right above, right below, or deep below the ground, so she wasn't sure what type of piece that they need to begin with. She looked from the blueprints to the boy with a blank, yet interested look, silently asking his opinion.

{{We don't have Yuki's help anymore, that only lasts for one post. EDIT: Okay, let me edit edit my post since we succeeded, sorry for not paying attention.}}
Aranami slowly nodded about using a straight piece. "Makes sense, and I suppose if the straight piece isn't the starting piece, we can always put a different piece on the other side." He looked at a couple of different pieces. "So we grab one piece, and then attach another piece to it then? So I pick this up, and then you hold that while screwing in the screw?" Aranami had a very confused look on his face, wondering how they expected students who probably never did this kinda thing before to play a part in reconstruction. Looking back at the blueprints, he instantly saw which piece he needed. "Okay, I got it!" He exclaimed while picking up the piece they needed to attach to the well. "Here, I'll hold these two together, and then you attach them."

[It's all cool dude!]
The girl sighed once again, but for once it wasn't out of annoyance. It seemed like they were getting somewhere finally, even if it was only just a start. "Yuki said to put them together with bolts..." she mumbled as she picked up one of the round objects and fastened it onto one end of a single piece and then adjusted the pieces the boy was holding so that the bolt was in between the two separate pieces. Using the wrench that Yuki had made her fetch, Akemi tightened the two separate pieces together to form one larger piece. At least we are moving forward... she thought to herself as she finished tightening the bolt, making it as tight as she possibly could.
With a small intake of breath, the girl looked from the boy to the blueprints and then back. "You think we should put a few more pieces together like I mentioned before? Or should we try something else..." she asked quietly as she wiped at her forehead. Unsure of exactly where to move on from this point, Akemi wanted the boy to put some input in and help figure something out instead of just her... She was beginning to feel that she was the only one making suggestions, and that he was just following or basing his off of her own. Or maybe that was just her annoyance of having to work finally getting to her....

((I hate DC20 rolls...))
It was quite evident that her partner was deriving some strange joy from this chore. Akiko doubted it was the task itself that caused such jubilation, though it would certainly be amusing if it were true. No, Nadeshiko was probably just happy that she finally got it right. She honestly didn't know the girl that well, but a mundane job like this didn't seem suitable for an eccentric person. She had enough to worry about with this mixture, but she knew she had to take care of her partner, too. "Heh, don't lose focus, now. We still have a ways to go," she cautioned. Then, she turned back to her own mixture. It looked good, but there wasn't that much of it. She knew that she would have a large area to cover, so she had to make a bigger batch. She added in the proper proportions of everything, but this time around it didn't come out quite right. It seemed a little too watery. Akiko was disappointed. She figured it would be less difficult if it were too dry because then she could just add more water... but this? She didn't know how to fix it. What's more, she worried she had just ruined a batch of ingredients...

Yuki stood back and watched Akemi and Aranami try to make their plan work. It seemed that they would probably need more help. Looking around, she spotted Sorri not yet working on the task that Hamma had given him. "Sorri, why not give Akemi and Aranami a hand?" Yuki said to the boy, before calling over to Aranami. "Screws and bolts are two different things, darling! You should probably familiarize yourself with the equipment before you get to work," the woman suggested to the boy, before walking over to check the concrete mixture. "Oh, my! Keep mixing honey. Its not gonna look right the moment you mix it. Some mixtures take hours to churn until they turn out right," Yuki told Akiko and Nadeshiko as they continued to add and add to make it look right. "Give it a few minutes to stir in completely before you add in more, ok?" she told them, patting Akiko on the shoulders.

Rokugi was coming in a sprint towards the housing district knowing very well he was very late to help. From afar he could see a lot of people working already in the place and making a lot of progress considering the amount of work that had to be done and their age. He came to a stop and looked around. At first there was no grown up who seemed in charge on sight and Rokugi's nerves kicked in. He was sweating a whole bunch as he had ran from the Bamboo forest nonstop to here. Using his long sleeves the boy removed some sweat from his forehead while catching his breath. Just then a familiar face moved around. It was Yuki, the woman from the ninjutsu class yesterday and she seemed to be keeping an eye and supervising the kids making the cement mixture. " Tenmoki Sensei" He called out while he went on towards were she was standing. " Im sorry im late, I see everyone is already at work. Is there anything i could be helpful with?" He stoodin front of her and once again bowed in respect as he always did to the grownups or to those with higher status as him. He lifts his head and awaited orders. He wanted to work on something already and help others, it always made him feel good about himself. He wondered if it was aselfish thing to think.

Akiko swallowed hard. "Hours?" she asked incredulously. She couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to simply stand in place all day doing nothing but stirring concrete. Her mind needed to constantly be active; boredom was anathema to her. In her mind, she began to resent her fate while simultaneously wondering when it would end. All the while, she kept stirring the mixture with smooth, even motions. The mixture finally started to show a little resistance, so she stopped to work the soreness out of her wrists. It was about this time that she remembered Shinichi's words. Perhaps it would help things go faster if she struck up a little conversation. She turned to her partner. "So, Nadeshiko-kun, are you going to attend the Academy with us? If so, I guess we're making your new home, aren't we? I guess we'd better work extra-hard, huh?" Akiko smiled, but her expression was a bit awkward. She still wasn't used to making smalltalk. Still, it kept her mind away from the work, which was beginning to come together.

"Lend Akemi and Aranami a hand with those pipes, Rokugi. Oh, and make sure to greet your clanmate, Nadeshiko," Yuki said, pointing in the girl's direction. "You should get to know her considering the two of you will be roommates," the woman noted to the young boy.

Nadeshiko kept putting more and more in (albeit slowly and, following Yuki's advice, pausing before stirring), and when it continued to look like the same monotoned grey stuff that she believed concrete was supposed to look like, a wide smile stretched across her lips. She looked over to Akiko, who was looking a bit disappointed. " Yes, I am one of the latest additions to the Academy. And don't worry, I'm sure you'll finish really fast. I bet you'll be done in no time. " Nadeshiko gave Akiko another quick smile, before yelling in the direction of Yuki and Hamma that she was finished with her mixture of concrete. Then another child showed up, a boy with dark hair and bright orange eyes. She stared. Yuki said his name was Rokugi, and that was enough for Nadeshiko to leap gracefully over to him. "Rokugi? Rin'Egan Rokugi?" Her questioning and demanding voice asked.

[Its all understandable. Its just easier for the crew to grade and it also gets you in the habit for when you fight opponents.]
Yuki walked over to Nadeshiko's wheel barrel to take a look. "Good job, darling," the woman said with a smile as she looked to see that the mixture looked just right. "Rokugi, why don't you and Nadeshiko begin spreading this batch of concrete? Sorri, get on helping Akemi and Aranami," Yuki scolded the Ibazi, knowing that the pipes needed to be assembled just as the concrete was being put in. Their plans were complex, but Yuki was determined to get it all done in one day. "Hamma has gone out and marked all the areas to pour concrete in last. Those will be the spots where the assembled pipes go," Yuki informed the two before they got to work.

Rokugi nodded at the first orders before noticing what her words had been. He stopped and moved his head slowly to look at Yuki. If he had heard right there was another Rin'Egan in the village. He looked back at the other kids trying to spot who it was before the girl came at him. Her voice made him turn and there they where, those orange ringed eyes just like his, that unmistakable trait of their clan. Rokugi changed her command seeing that his clansmen had finished her work with the concrete. The girl spoke to him in a amazement asking the same thing he would have asked. " Um yeah, Im a Rin'Egan. Nadeshiko right? How is it your here at the academy? You are from the same caravan as i am if im not mistaken and well they wherent that eager to let me train." He spoke to the girl with his common slow and shy voice. While speaking he walked over to where the shovels where. He pulled back the long sleeves of his white shirt and took two shovels.coming back and with his eyes on the Nadeshiko, he handed a shovel to her. " Uh, here you go. So you too have the Doujutsu huh? I never expected to see another clans member , at least not so soon. Im glad to have you as a room mate " He smiled at the girl and once again his visible eye through the hair closed bringing his small cheeks up. Walking over to the area where the concrete was Rokugi introduced the shovel ad taking a full scoop of it. He slowly walked over to the marked area and began to pour the concrete slowly and evenly to make sure he didnt spill it anywhere wrong.

Hamma looked over the plans as the kiddies worked hard. There were a few missing, but it seemed like everyone was working hard together. Now that the concrete was being poured Hamma would have to make sure it was done right. If anything went wrong with the foundation there would be a lot of dead shinobi on his hands. He hadn't killed a man in a long time, the last thing he needed was a bunch of dead kids showing up in his nightmares. "Listen up Laddies and Lasses, ye be building your home, if ya do it wrong, its going to fall and we be out here again. Lets get it right da first time." Hamma was a blunt man, but he was always honest.
