Usrah focused upon the newcomer, her aura soon coming into view. He raised an eyebrow and then glanced at Lin.
"I do not sense evil within this woman. However, I agree that you should remain on guard. It appears she does carry many sins, but she is not corrupted like the elf."
When he heard Lin's comment on the elf, his eyes darted towards her, looking upon her as if she were insane.
"Lin, that elf is extremely evil. To release him would be madness. If we do release him, he will have enough time to at least kill one of us or our companions."
His voice darkened and his face became expressionless.
"Do you really want that kind of guilt on your concience?"
Usrah's eyes suddenly flared with pain.
"Try living with it for over 9000 years."
He turned away, looking off into the distance.
"We must know what happened to these people. To release this man without knowing the entire truth would only make this procedure even more difficult."
He looked back to Luniya.
"If you do indeed plan to search the elf, be sure to remove any weapons, especially anything that may appear to have magical powers. They will most likely have intricate inscriptions and/or come in the form of trinkets."
He floated to Rok's eye level.
"If you would be so kind as to assist Luniya in discovering any magic items on the elf's person. I am confident in your abilities as a mage to detect such things."

Luniya looked at Usrah confused. She felt that he blames himself too much for the past. Her voice became sad, "Usrah, that was past," she took a breath, and stretched her arm up to Usrah's shoulder. "Do not blame this elf for the past and just because she has no evil aura does not mean that she is any better than this elf. You can't measure people in black and white Usrah."
She turned her head to notice the female with a butterfly. She had sensed her a while back, but she wasn't interrupting anything, yet. Luniya had decided to ignore her until just about every head turned and was watching her. She didn't see why everyone worried. "That woman, she is blind."
Usrah began speaking to Luniya again about searching the elf. All the scents around her were starting to give her headache. She put her hand to her head and rubbed it gently. She still had the scar her father gave her years ago. She shook away the memory and started sniffing and searching the elf. She didn't find anything unusual but did confiscate a wand. She waved it around and sighed. "Usrah can we just let him go, there's no chance he is capable of killing any us," she said pleadingly as she dropped thr wand on the ground.

"She's right, Usrah, what's done is done. Nothing can change that. Living with it on your mind, for that long, will drive you insane" Flint said soberly, looking up, waaaay up, to stare at Usrah in the eyes. "In any case, so what, he may be evil, but who knows for what reason? Evil for some is black and white, as Luniya said, but for some it isn't. For example, if someone didn't know, for example, that someone was...a demon, or similar, and someone else murdered him because of that. They would think he was evil because he murdered someone, yet he knows that he is not. What if he had a reason for doing what he did, that caused him to have an evil sense, as you say? As someone once said, don't judge a book by it's cover. Interrogate him, then judge him" he said, surprising himself with his own long winded speech. It might have had a better effect if Flint wasn't three feet tall with a fairly high pitched voice, but he hoped it got the message across.

Usrah sighed deeply after hearing Luniya's and Flint's words. There was no point in arguing against them. They had no idea what happened over 9000 years ago and how much pain it caused him. He turned to face the elf laying upon the ground. He extended his right arm outward, his palm facing the elf.
"I release you from your divine bonds."
The shining bands of light shimmered and fell off of the elf's body like sand. His face had a disappointed expression. So many questions left unanswered and he was forced to release an exceedingly evil being from bindings.

(( Heh heh, I forgot Tyr has empathy... Wow, that would've come in handy, earlier, right? Well, here's a little post describing why she missed that one!))
There were too many things going on around Tyr for her to allow herself to relax; everyone was moving around and doing stuff which caused her to want to hide somewhere, the various emotions coming from everyone was starting to stress her out, and that annoyingly sick feeling in the pit of her stomach which warned her of coming danger was actually making her nautious.
As if she could stop it all she held up her hands and closed her eyes, taking a few deep breaths and concentrating on one thing at a time. "I don't care if you believe me or not, but someone here has a murderous intent; I can feel it." She said outloud aftewr a moment, opening her eyes to look worredly around her; with so many people she couldn't pin point the emotion, she only hoped that it wasn't coming from the group she had decided to trust and travel with.

((Wow, you guys moved fast.))
Ashe had stayed silent with everything going on. She did take a look over the newcomer, the blind women with the butterfly, but dismissed her for the male elf on the ground. He was the one that held her curiosity at the moment. She nodded in agreement with Luniya's and Flint's arguments. When Luniya dropped the wand she picked it up and held it in her hands. She sniffed it and weighed it. "It was used recently..." she said, more to herself then the others. She didn't like this. When Usrah dropped the restraints she knelt down by the elf and said, in eleven, "I heard your story, but I don't think most of it is true. I propose a small contest. If I win you'll tell me the whole truth, if you win..." she hefted his wand in her hand. "A simple contest, no fighting, no weapons, just a contest of speed." She pulled out an earring with a violet stone hanging from it and put it into her ear. "First one to take the earring off the other wins. What say you?" She didn't care if the others heard her, she just couldn't let this feeling about this elf go.

Usrah's ears perked up as he heard the beautiful language of the elves. Although he was not looking in the direction of the voice, he could tell that it was Ashe. He listened to her words very carefully, having studied a multitude of languages, and was confused at first. After some thought it finally made sense. She did mention that she did not believe his story and so she made a wager. This pleased him, as he did not wish to release the elf right away. However, her wager did not seem entirely fair to the elf, as he was a mage, which was made clear by the discovery of a wand. Ashe was a dragon, making her one of the fastest creatures alive due to her immense strength. Without magic, it did not matter how fast the elf could move naturally. A dragon would always win in a test of speed.

Sorrow stopped digging though her belongings and zipped the backpack back up, taking nothing out of it. She turned around slightly putting it over her back making sure not to damage her lute. She looked over as she saw the elf’s bindings being removed. She looked over at him sitting there and wondered what everyone else was wondering.
Did he kill them? It’s true that he has no visible wounds. But some of his story could be true. Also I’ve never heard of that Elvin place before. He’s quite suspicious and I’m sure he still has a few tricks up his sleave.
She noticed the others were looking over at a woman in the distance. There was something strange about her too, but she couldn’t quite figure out what. She then turned back and looked over at Usrah.
“I’m not as confident at reviving people as I am with healing. Truthfully, I’ve never done it before.”
She shied away from him and walked over to Luniya. She looked over at the wand she had dropped to the floor. It had strange Elvin writing on it and she could not decipher it. She then noticed the elf start to move and looked at him wondering if he was willing to accept the challenge Ashe had put out for him.
---
Contri stood after his shackles were lifted off him. He stood abruptly looking around at his surroundings. He yawned and started to stretch. He bent down low, touching his toes, and then stood back up. He started to relax the muscles in his arms and then put them up behind his head and then turned his torso to the right and then the left.
“You want a contest? Sure I’ll comply, sounds like fun. But I must warn you, I’m not a novice at this sort of thing. I admit this is a bit childish, but whatever makes you feel better.”
He continued to stretch out not paying much attention to the others who seemed to be staring at a woman in the distance.
“To keep this fair, someone else will hold my wand. Also the others cannot interfere. Also there needs to be an area where this takes place, and with all these bodies and trees around I don’t think this would be a fair place for this contest. There’s a small camp to the north west which I think would work quite well.”
He slowly reached into his pockets and put on a few small strange colored rings which Luniya had failed to discover. He grabbed the front of his clothing and ripped it off. Underneath was a thin purple and white cloth tank top with little shapes of moons on it. He walked over to the cart and leaned up against it. He grinned and began to stare down Ashe.
“So what do you say?”

Lin looked back at the elf male. She had heard of many elven kingdoms, and manor's, and had visited them quite a few times. It was said they were the only elven kingdoms in this world, she went to all opf them, and none were what the elf had said. She sighed, she might have made a stupid decision by asking them to let the elf male go, but she wasn't interested in finding out. A low sigh escaped her lips, and she found herself remounting Mist, and ignoring what was going on. She had a strange feeling of forboding, something was going to happen, and something bad she thought.
Though she pushed those negative thoughts away, and turned her attention back to the elf, while still looking at the strange women from the corner of her eye. Her hand still rested on the hilt of her sword, without it she would feel very open for any attack. "If you want to have a contest, I know a better place, not where that elf male wants to go either."

((OK, I'm only posting this cause my sisters being annoying about. Prepare yourselves! At least check it out? It'll make her happy, and she's quite scary when she's mad... : http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/barton-town/the-otherworld-s-fairy-war/t.40986963/ ))
Tyr opened her eyes and turned her attention towards the male elf and the werewolf, curiosity causing her to relax. "Running contest?" She asked, tilting her head. I bet you could win a running contest... Ferghall suggested in a confident sounding voice which caused Tyr to blush in pleasure. Weither or not she was confident in herself was a moot point when compaired to the fact that she was at least confident in her speed abilites. Maybe I'll ask to race when we get to the capital, Ferghall. No need to make them any more suspicious of me than they already are. I'm content to just blend into the background...

Ashe nodded. "I agree. It is a little childish, but I'd rather not risk my life over something like this. And the fact that your no novice makes this all the more interesting. As for a location, we'll follow Lin, I still don't trust you to follow." She started to untie the cloth around her neck and the jacket. "Lin, lead the way, please."

I’m sorry I don’t think you understand Elven. Which I find surprising seeing as you’re a half-elf.” Shift spoke to Tyr. “The contest, for those of you who can’t speak that dialect is quite simple, it’s a contest to see who can remove the ear ring first, between myself and that lady who poses as an elf.”
He stopped leaning against the fallen over cart and started to walk in the direction Lin was taking them. He placed his hands behind his head and walked slowly ahead.
“When ever you want to do this is fine. I’ll follow your lead.”
He slowly walked ahead now only talking in Elvin, as he preferred not to speak otherwise.
“I don’t know what your true form is. And I’m sure you won’t tell me even if I ask.”
---
Sorrow slow started to follow Lin and Contri. She knew something was fishy about him. He was a form of a mage; otherwise he wouldn’t have a wand. And his shirt, a purple tank top with white half moon shapes on it. It was familiar although she couldn’t remember at the time what it meant.
Purple and white. Moons. I don’t remember from where but I’ve seen a similar design before. Cloth like that must be handmade. Although he is a mage. Purple and white. What significance is that. Purple is the color of royalty. And he claims he is a Lord of Elves. However that doesn’t explain the white crescent moons.
She thought to ask him about his shirt, being a designer of clothes she had seen the design before. But that was ages ago, long before she could remember. Even though Sorrows physical appearance had not changed over the thousands of years she had walked this realm. Something dark in her past kept her from remembering.
Sorrow walked slowly trying to keep some distance from the Elf. She walked close to Lin and whispered in her ear as Shift had began talking in Elvin, hoping that would keep him from hearing what she quickly spoke.
“Hey, what do you think about that guys attire? Have you seen anything like it before? I don’t know any kinds of mages that wear purple.”

Tyr felt her cheeks heat up and turn red in a small stroke of anger that she didn't quite understand. "I'll have you know I speak Elven quite well," She snapped in Elven just to prove her point. She and Ferghall both paused in what they were doing for a moment, pondering over Tyr's reaction. She felt calm now, but she still continued. "Technically it is a running contest... you certianly won't be walking to take the earrings off of each others ears..." She protested weakly, retreating back into her normal personality.
What happened to me? I just got so angry... She sighed mentally, reaching up to touch Ferghall's fur for comfort. You are half human, you do have a temper. Ferghall thought back to her, closing his eyes and smiling in that way only animals can smile.

Flint, completely lost in the proceedings, found a small tree stump and sat on it, sighing. He was beginning to think he was in over his head here, but hey, as a part time bard this would make one good story. He spotted a stick not far from his stump, long enough to go just past his finger tips to down to about his lap. He then looked up at the broken down convoy, grinning.

Ashe snorted at Contri as he turned away from her. She then walked over to Flint and noticed he looked a little lost, and eyeing the cart. "I wouldn't bother with the cart. I've already taken out the items that where salvageable. The rest are broken, some beyond repair. By the way, are you coming with us or are we going to leave you behind?"
