"What refusal is it that I have made?" Edward asked, he hadn't moved from his spot even with them coming closer almost every time they opened their mouths. "Lila, don't." He said offhandedly to the snake that was making it's way closer and closer to the two vampires. The snake stopped, and moved back to Edward. 'Fine, but after getting to bite the hunter, I'm antsy for more.' Lila responded. Edward still hadn't taken his eyes off the vampires. "Marie, step back, stop talking, and stay out of this." Edward said to her, still not taking his eyes off the vampires.

The vampire on the right spoke up saying "our master wishes for you to meet him half way. he should be leaving for your city soon.... he will not be please if he is made to come the entire distance...." The vampires eyes were strange and for a moment it looked like the symbol inside moved in a circle... but that's impossible.... right?

meganargetlam "Won't spare him any pain?" Marie had walked over to the group. "What do you want with our lord?" She asked, putting her hands on her hips. ' Seriously what do they want?' The man with the red eyes apeared behind Marie and said "hello dearest. It seems you have the good fortune to find favor in my masters eyes. how luck can you get? please come with me."

Marie spun around, staring at him. 'Did he just call me dearest?' she thought, staring at the man. She locked eyes with him, and gave him a look that said 'What the hell are you doing here?' She backed up slightly, looking him over. "What do you want?" She asked him. "Good favor? Master?"

meganargetlam Marie stood up. "I'm Marie, I'm really sorry." She rubbed the back of her head. "Wow, this is embarrassing." She laughed. "No, you probably can't, but I'll take you back to my home for some cake to make up for it." She smiled. "THat sounds nice, I guess." she said, a questioning look on her face. "My mother always told me, never take food from strangers. But I am totally in love with cake." she said cheerfully, surprising herself. Her usual melancholy look was bright and happy, a smile on her lips.

"Oh great!" Marie grinned. 'Excuses excuses, best things in the world!' She took Nova's hand, and began to lead her inside. "What kind of cake do you want Nova?" She asked politely. Kidnappers beware, Marie Anon would always find an excuse!

The sky started to grow dark as Cade woke up in the forest. The tree cover had been enough to protect him, but he still felt as if he hadn't gotten enough sleep. No matter, he didn't care anyway.
Cade got up and brushed himself off, starting to walk once more in the direction of Bruma. He had wanted to see a city of vampires so he could practice his ... acting. His face blank, Cade set forth on his journey once more. There was still a couple of miles to go, but he still walked leisurely, ignoring everything around him.

Nova was confused, listening to the group of vampires bicker. She bit her lip, trying to hold back tears as she followed Marie up the path. "Ummm... chocolate?" she asked, wondering if she liked chocolate as well. Chocolate always made her feel better.

A lone figure entered the city of Cheydinal. Silent were his movements and hidden was his visage. The city guard were unable to take notice of him as he moved among the shadows. This man was on a mission and a dangerous one, at that. Rumors had spread throughout the realm that a powerful vampire master had dug his claws into the city and dwelled within its walls. As a Hunter, it was his nature to slay vampires and the like. However, a master should prove some need of effort.

The man with red eyes frowned and said "very well.... I shall alert our master." He pointed at the other two and said "stay here and make sure he honors his word." The man with red eyes turned to walk away.

Edward said nothing until the man with red eyes had left, he couldn't remember what his name was anymore. After he left though, Edward turned back to the other two remaining vampires and gave them both a friendly smile. "As Lord and Master of his city I have other things to do then be babysat, but you may follow me if you wish until the time comes for me to meet with your master." Edward said, though he didn't move until he got a reaction from them. Last time he had moved they started talking again, and their voices irritated Edward to no end with their loose vowels and such. 'Marie, tread lightly while these brutes are still here.' He warned Marie, he didn't need her being used as a bargaining chip.

The vamppires looked at eachother and knodded then at the same time said "acceptable." They began to follow him as he walked.
The vampire Elaninul walked ouot of the city gates. The man saw a group of travelers some distance down the road and smiled. He decided to have some fun and followed them.

Edward made his way back around the castle, he had noticed the smell of his stewardess around the main gates along with another's smell he didn't know. Someone was trying to meet with him. Anett hadn't come to get him to meet with whoever it was, so they must have ether caught her in a bad mood, or they were a hunter. Yes, Anett know what he was and she took special care to screen everyone Edward ever came in contact with if they went through her to get to him. Everyone else she left to the Lord himself to deal with. Edward had made it back to where the hunter's grave was, not that he was ever going to mark it, and took the shovel that he had left next to it back into his hands to put away. Never once did he hear anything from the vampire duo that was following him.

The two vampires follwed behind Edward for some time and looked at him curuous as he took up the shovel. One of them went wide eyed suddenly and turned around to look in the direction of the entrance. The man said "I will be back...." The other one knodded and said "be careful... she is unpredictable...." the first vampire vanished without a trace.
