Sarah was almost afraid to interject in the exchange between Becca and Kara. Becca had a sarcastic streak in her and Kara looked about ready to tear into her. "Hey now...relax...we didn't come looking for trouble now." Even though with their luck trouble just found them. Though Kara herself had just asked the magic question. She got that mischeivious glint in her eye as she thought about the answer. She looked up at the trees then at Morgan and Kara and even Victoria. "Oh nothin really now." She said as she paced over to the tree trunk. One goot hit aughta do it now. Sarah then it the tree hard enough to dislodge the snow off the branches sending it down on Kara and Morgan. With a laugh she lept back out of the sudden blizzard that came falling down on the two brotherhood members. There wasn't alot of snow up there but it was enough for a good coating. Sarah though tripped and landed on her backside laughing as she looked to see if she got either of them. They had come for a snowball fight...Sarah decided to take the first shot.

Shandra smiled and gave a little, nervous laugh as she played with her hair, "Yeah but imagine waking up and heading to the bathroom. When you try to see if someone's in there they don't answer cause they didn't hear you...and you end up walking in..."

She sighed and shook her head, "And...school is usually a pain to. So anything that gets messed up cause of what you have?"

"Oh....okay. A term." Owen wasn't about to say what he was thinking, although he wasn't entirely sure that with this man, anything he thought would be known anyway; if he could speak in his mind, it stood to reason he could read it too. He nodded solemnly at Xavier. "Yeh. But I do best with spiders, and it's more of a.....blending in thing. You know, like those little color-changing lizards."
He selected a couch and sat as far forward as he could without falling right off; the formal decor seemed to remind him of the condition of his clothes and making him note every little tear, fray, stain and hole, despite him never giving it a second thought in the past. Then again, he could never remember being in such a nice place, not even when he was living with his parents. He at least took comfort in the fact that he didn't smell as bad as he looked; he always took pains to keep himself from being smelly; nothing got in the way of a successful theft like a ripe body odour.
He looked down at the cups of steaming tea and carefully picked up a cup, trying not to look at the grime underneath his chewed fingernails, and sniffed at the steam wafting from the delicate brown liquid. He suddenly seemed to hear a gentle voice inside his head, and his hands seemed to be so much smaller, grasping eagerly for a different looking cup with the same fragrant liquid. "Oh no honey, that's Mommy's tea; you won't like it." A long slender hand gently clasped his, and he blinked as he found himself once again in the fancy room with a steaming cup.
Trying not to think about what had just gone on inside of his head, he cautiously took a sip, letting it swish around in his mouth. It kind of reminded him of grass ((no, not THAT kind XD)), but it wasn't an unpleasant taste.

Becca watched as Sarah dropped the snow on the two people, shaking her head slowly. Bad idea. As Kara made to pounce, Becca readied herself to push Sarah out of the way though such thought was not needed. Watching the cougar fall to the ground and become a girl was too much for the mutant. Laughter bubbled from her, despite her attempt to stifle the noise by covering her mouth.

Victoria blinked and simply stood there, completely ignorant to the little cat-fight going on around her as Morgan seemingly ignored her. Just, just forget about her as if they hadn't just been teammates, friends even, just a few months prior. This confused her a bit, yet not at the same time, as it was obvious never had that thing taken care of like she had suggested some months ago. That was why they that rather foul 'break-up', so to speak, after all.

"So..." Victoria started awkwardly, and she folding her arms loosely across her coat as if a pleasant conversation had been flowing the entire time. "how's...life?"

Kara glared at Becca and Sarah then snorted. "How can you have fun in this crap? It's cold and wet." She stated while standing up and brushing off her clothing. She sighed, her ears drooping a bit, as she shoved her hands in the pockets of her jeans and shivered. The cat-girl looked down at her feet then back at them. "Aren't you those Xavier kids anyways?"

Morgan hadn't exactly been ignoring Victoria, but he'd been a bit distracted with stopping someone from getting mauled by a cougar. That was enough to split anyone's attention. Also, he was busy retaliating for being covered in snow. But now that he was done with that, he turned his full attention back to Victoria.

"Life's been good, at least for me. How've things been treating you?" he asked, trying to avoid the subject fo what had happened several months ago, and hoping that Victoria wouldn't bring it up.
