"First off, neither Drake nor I asked to be payed and wouldn't accept payment anyways. So that ruins that." "And if you must play games then you must not be willing to face us outright." Puzzles weren't so back to do when the prize was something great but playing games with a vampire sounded a bit boring and not up to par.

'Not so. Many people have hunted me, I just want to see if you are worthy opponents. If you do not wish to play, then I suppose you will get nothing in return. So what will it be: play my game and hunt me, or not play the game and allow me to continue to run free. Decide...'

Drake snorted and muttered under his breath something about cowardness. Ray simply rolled her eyes. "Either way, we wouldn't be losing anything. But whatever. Start up your little game already and let's get this over with." Neither of them looked happy with the idea but it was their chance to knock off another kill. They only hoped it'd be worth their time.

'Very well, let us begin. To the cross-shaped headstone, with the name of Gaston, you will find a peice of paper, to finsh this song.'
With that Julien severed the connection and Sophia came to. "I guess you heard him, to the cross-shaped headstone named Gaston."

Drake continued muttering as Ray relayed the message to her familiar. The pseudodragon glanced around, finding the gravestone in a short amount of time. The two of them then walked over and took up the piece of paper. Ray didn't look pleased seeing as she was a mage and not a bard. Instead, she just handed the paper over to Sophia, figuring she'd have the better chance.

As Sophia read the paper, she figited a little, and then began to speak. "Upon the blood of the transients I feed, if you want to find me, come outside to meet your need."
'Upon the blood of transients? The blood of people who would not be missed if they were killed. That...homelss man!'
"Excuse me, do either of you remember that homeless man outside the cemetary?"

"We saw him, yes." Ray hoped the 'game' wasn't just one clue long. It wouldn't have seemed very well thought out if it was. "Is he our next 'clue' or the vampire himself?"

"Don't know, we just have to find him." Sophia finished, starting towards gate when the ground began trembling. The muse tried to stay on the ground, but a white hand grabbed her ankle form the ground and held her there.

Mage and fighter turned to follow Sophia but didn't get far before they stopped again. Upon seeing the hand reach out, Drake instantly drew one of his swords and swung down to sever it. Ray steadied herself on the shaking ground, prepared to cast a speel if need be.

((After this post, I have to go. Sorry...))
Sophia slammed her other foot down on the hand that held her. A groan could be heard from the ground as she was released. Making her way to the entrance, another white hand grabbed her lower leg, causing her to fall backwards.
"Misstresssss...."
Sophia continued to strugle...

Drake moved from one place to the next, swinging his sword at the other arm. Ray stood back and channelled a spell into the surrounding area, a circle of runes surrounding them. The runes pulsed once then glowed brightly, driving the evil in the in the circle out. "Attacking with undead. Eh... When do we get to the good stuff?"

Elisabeth had been woken from a deep sleep and was annoyed. She'd been incorpeal for centuries and had just gotten the hang of "sleeping" again. Looking around she could tell that whoever had spoken to her so sadly, and forcefully, was no longer there. Testing her ability to move and finding she could, 'Lisabeth moved around the gravestone that was hers and floated towards the entrance of the cemetary.
Getting to the graveyard entrance Elisabeth summoned up her courage, it hadn't worked last time and she was wary... But maybe, maybe this time she could. Floating gracefully out through the gate she smiled to her self and floated off down the street scanning for the aura that had called her awake.

Marie Antionet Rose detected the tone in his voice and got up. She walked over to Jason and looked over the wand in his hand. Looks like a piece of stick to me She thought. Rose ran a finger up and down it, at the first touch a tingle ran up her arm, but she dismissed it as a rain drop falling onto her finger. She felt the grain of the wood under her touch.Rose wanted to believe him but..her up bringing just wouldn't allow it. Mabe if he showed her something..but would she believe him after that?. For the sake not wanting to make an argument with him, She decided to just let herself try to believe in that tingle she got when she first touched the wood. He had seemed so sure that it WAS magic. Rose ran her hand from the wand down to Jason's arm were he was holding it and let her hand sit ontop of his. She looked Jason in the eye. "If You say it's magic..I believe you," Rose said with a gentil smile on her face. Jason looked up at her, looking a bit angered. "You don't. Don't lie." he said before pulling his hand away. He backed up a few steps, then looked around. "You don't believe me, so I'll prove it." he said, continuing to look around. He then looked back to her, and took a deep breath. "What can I do to prove it?"

Rose Stood back, Her eye's following Jason. " Most people just believe me," she commented. "But it seems to you im an open book. But...You're right. I don't believe you. i'm sorry but I can't. My parents exposed every magic trick to me when I was 5. From the sawwing of a woman in half to making an egyption byramid disappear. I can't help it I'm a little skeptical.," Rose croosed her arms and walked over to Jason, a little annoyed that her lying skills had slipped down a few notches. She raced through her mind thinking of any magic trick that wa simpossible to do. The wather was cold right now, even tho it was summer and it inspired an Idea in her head. One thing that man could NOT control. "Make it snow," She asked casually.

Jason just smiled. "I'm not powerful enough to make it snow everywhere. But in one specific spot, sure." he then looked up at the sky, mumbled something, and swirled his wand around. Within seconds, a small light shot out of the tip of his wand and went straight up. Soon enough, the rain on them and a few feet around them turned to snow, and the rain that was falling turned to snow. He then looked over at her and flicked a bit of snow off of his nose. "Does this convince you?" he asked.
