"You have a really nice house." Ryoga said wrapping his arm around her and kissed her cheek. "You look nervous, is something wrong?" He asked as he walked in front of her and looked into her eyes. "You don't have family problems, do you?" He asked.

"hmm?!" She said startled by this question. "wha? N-no. Of course not," She lied. Ill just have to prove myself to mother this time....and not embaress myself. She thought. Haku folloed behind and totted along sid h and yga son ngh. He as growlng at th house. Last time they came, Ria had bought Haku. Her mother had whipped him across the nose. She stopped and put Haku in her bag. "My mother hates small animals" She lied, to Ryoga. She put her backpack on and kept going.

HE didn't think she was telling the truth, but shrugged it off. "She doesn't like you being away from home does she?" He asked as he walked beside her towards the house. "Or is it your dad and he doesn't want you to date people and you are worried about me?"

"My father is long dead. It's just...." She decided to tell him the truth. "She hates Haku, thinks he's a weasel, p,us she thinks because i travel and explor, that im not worthy to be her daughter or part of our "family". My brother is dead, and so is my father. She always wanted me to settle down and have a family, but iwant to go exploring, like my dad.She hates me.Im a big disapointment to her."Ria finished right as they aproached the house.

Ryoga frowned. "I am sorry, I shouldn't have made you tell me." He looked down at the ground. "Won't she be happier that at least are are with someone?" HE asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "I bet if she sees that you aren't alone she will be happier."

"Well, its alright. i guess i needed to get it out before me and my mom have a fight." She said. "Maybe it will be better since im not alone..." She wondered outloud.She knocked on the door and they heard someone say, "ILL BE RIGHT THERE!"

"i hope so..." Ria whispered as the door creeked open.
A lady with blonde hair and a bathrobe on came to the door. "Ria...." Her mother said rerluctantly. "What-" Her mother stopped and Looked at Ryoga. "WHO IS THIS?!" She screamed. "Have you married him?" She looked at Ria's left hand.
"no! mom, he's not my husband." Ria said, trying to calm here mother down.
Her mother was busy dancing around the kitchen. "Come in dear! Whats your name then sweety?" She asked Ryoga.Ria felt so embaressed.She blushed and put her face in her hands.

Ryoga began to laugh. "HEllo ma'am my name is Ryoga, I regret to inform you that your daughter and I are not married just dating." He looked back at Ria with a smile from looking at her embarassment. "It is kind of early for us to even think about marriage, and I would never marry Ria without having met you first."

Ria looked up, he face still red. She smiled fakely. Her mother looked at her and asked, "were's that weasel of yours Ria?" "ITS NOT A WEASEL!" She shouted. She couldnt help but get angry. Her mother expected too much of her. "YOU ARE SO ANNOYING!" She screamed and ran out the front door. She climed into the nearest tree and sat with Haku, talking to him in a low whisper.
She had so many issues with her mother.Her mother was left there standing in the kitchen staring at Ryoga.

Ryoga stood there for a few seconds before running out after her. "Ria...Ria." He said loud but not yelling. "Where did you run to?" He asked turning around, tryting to spot her. "I am sorry, we shouldn't have come here. Just come out and we can find a new place to stay for awhile." He said hoping he could get her to come to him.

Raizer sat in silence only winceing a few times when Kaome cleaned his wound when she had finished he finally spoke "thanks, my names Raizer by the way" he gave a thankful smile to her and tried to stand up but his leg gave way again and he fell back down to his knees.

She threw a pinecown just below his feet to let him know where she was, and told Haku to go . Haku ran down from the tree and came charging down at Ryoga, claws out. "No haku!!!!!" Ria yelled as he jumped for Ryoga's ankle, teeth beared. Her mother came out, screamed, and ran back in. The minute went by, and she came back out with a fly swater. "MOM!" Ria yelld. "DONT!!!"
Ria jumped from the tree snatched Haku from her mother's grip and jumped back into the tree. It was a safe place for her.
