I think that the 50% thing is like in sports a coach or something will say that the game is such and such percentage intimidation...or something. If that made any sense at all.
@ Toph: I have nothing in that egg group that'll pass along decent stats. Plus I know almost nothing about spiritomb.

You need to know Techniques mostly.
edit - or, just go with what Arc said. XD  ARTZY so what your saying is that i can only half ev traine my pokemons? You can fully train them. But they just have to be at the specified levels at the specified times. oh

Arcanas what the percentages mean, is it's half breeding skill, and half battle skill. Oh, the only reason I was bitching about the gender in the beginning, was because only the males can transfer moves. So, the one that I breed with my perfect IV ditto has to be a male, otherwise the moves won't carry over. I might have a male Brave Bird Pidgey you can use. Let me check.

Rish - It's ok, spiritomb is a bit of a freak among pokemon. IDK if I've ever seen someone use it.
Their stats are weird too, well above average in everything but speed. Their super slow.

I've seen plenty of Spiritomb user's. They're fairly easy to bring down. People panic when they see it. "OMG NO WEAKNESS!!!!!!!!!" But really, it has plenty of neutral damage to take it down. D:
I think he's best as an annoyer. Status here, Pain Split there.. then it dies. Make the next pokemon have an easier time againt the opponent.

I wanted to use it as a fighting counter in place of Gengar. To me it seems that if you focus on defending yourself and blasting around shadow balls and psychics, it would be a deadly force. Throw some leftovers and trick room in the mix and you got a real threat.
