(Yeah, sorry about that.) Jade looked at the battle going on and felt worried. This pokemon was stronger then expected. The boy yelled at the two, telling them it was time to keep moving forward. They would have to make a run for it! The battle was going poorly and they honestly didn't need this. He began running, knowing that they would listen to him.Nyx watched as the Tirtouga hunkered down. The Umbreon noticed that this pokemon was really strong for some reason. Annoyed he was about to attack when he heard Jade calling. Turning to the boy and hearing what he said, he felt torn. One part wanted to rip apart this pokemon, the other was listening to reason. Reason won out as he chased after the boy. He aimed to push the kid farther and the Zangoose at the same time and help aid their retreat.Kyo also froze through the battle. Nyx had nudged him and he stared at his opponent's. He knew that there would be another joining her to battle and this was getting to be really difficult. Deciding it wasn't worth it, the Zangoose chased after the boy and his Umbreon. The girl saw that Kyou was having trouble with this battle. The pokemon was strong she had to admit. Since it seemed like it was too strong for him, she had to take things into her own hands. The girl leapt forward, sweeping up the Charmander into her arms and taking off running. She hated retreating but this time it was the only way they would be able to survive. They still had a mission to complete and this was going nowhere at all.

Kai didn't seem to be having any luck. The pokemon didn't want to see to play with him at all. He soared lower, close to the Anorith. At first he just circled the pokemon, thinking about what to do. It wouldn't hurt if he tried to get the pokemon to play tag with him right? The Emolga finally decided to send a faint electric shock with Thunder shock to try and tag the pokemon! He could send the shock from afar and then soar up higher to avoid getting tagged!

Surprisingly he would find no problem with his wish for escape, afterall, this was a fight that was spur by their disrupting of her lands. That she had been waken from her slumber to protect, and it was also a show of this land untapped force. They had made a joke of this, they had called this place weak, but she couldn't help her sneer at they ran away.
She could have stopped them ...as they past her mate would see them off. He could have stopped them, but neither found the need as they let them run.
Coward ......all and one.

Though the pokemon should have backed off immediately, this was the forest lord, he didn't want to give up any ground as he would take off after him. His feet kicking off hard as he ran all out towards his opponent ...he didn't want to let them go, but as she ran ...the unexpected had given her the speed and the necessary steps for her to get away.

[+1 to Anorith's Defense!]In response to the Emolga's playful attack, the Anorith would perform the greatest known feat in his history and the history of Pokemon!....Which was absolutely nothing. The Anorith wouldn't yawn, he wouldn't flinch, his eyes barely even moved to continue watching the Electric-Type. The prehistoric insect didn't seem to view the squirrel as any sort of threat to his being; and thus far, he was being proven more then correct about that.  Anorith [M]

(So the amber is located in this forest?) Jade felt relieved when he saw the turtle pokemon didn't chase after them. Things hadn't been going too well but they had made it miraculously. His pokemon were powerful but there were always others that were stronger. The boy looked at the forest and then looked at the two pokemon beside of him. How were they going to find the amber? Was it hidden in the trees somewhere? Or did a pokemon end up having it? "We need to find the amber." he said to Nyx and Kyo. The boy stopped to think about it for a second. Maybe they should keep moving and then try and pick out a tree and see if it was in there. The trees were fossilized so it could be possible. "Alright I want you two to pick out a tree. Then we'll try letting you guys attack it. to see if there's amber hidden within the trunks."The Umbreon stopped to listen and then ran forward a little bit. Nyx began looking around, trying to figure out what the best tree would be. He darted from one to another, eyes quickly scanning over each. It took a little bit and they had kept moving forward, but he finally decided on one to the left side. ["This is the one we should try!'] he remarked confidently sitting beside of it and waiting for the two to catch up. The Zangoose listened to the boy and began his own search. He also began to weave through the trees. The white and red furred pokemon was a mere blur as he moved back and forth. As he continued to search, he threw a glance over his shoulder to make sure he didn't too far away from the boy. After what seemed like several minutes but was only like about thirty seconds, he had decided on one. Kyo stood triumphant, while looking around to see where Nyx and Jade were. Jade wasn't too far off and Nyx was almost directly beside him on the opposite side sitting next to a tree. The problem was that Nyx was on the left side and Kyo had chosen one on the right. The path they had been taking was square in the middle of the two trees. ["I choose this one! Obviously this is the right one!"] he yelled at the trickster, scoffing. Luckily Airashii had been fast enough to outrun the Stantler as she left it far behind. The girl didn't even glance back but instead kept moving forward. When she felt like the coast was clear, she let Kyou walk by himself. That battle had been really harsh on him and the pokemon hadn't even been that strong. Her Charmander would need to get a lot stronger..

So far things were pretty calm. Nothing out of the ordinary popped out of the shadows to attack. The forest was probably full of pokemon somewhere. She doubted they thought the pair were strong especially after their defeat with the Stantler. There was no choice but to keep moving forward. They needed to find a rare bone somewhere. The item had to be somewhere in the forest. Or was it?

It was getting kind of boring already. The girl stopped to rest beneath a tree for a little bit. With Kyou on guard, she just leaned back against the trunk with her eyes closed. The girl then felt better after her short nap. Kyou had taken a nap as well with her on guard. Now that they had rested, the pair continued forward through the forest.

Again, nothing. The girl wondered where all the pokemon were. At the same time, it was a good thing that they weren't encountering hordes of them. She just kept walking calmly, keeping her eye out for a rare bone.

(sometimes yes, and sometimes no .....depends on your rolls and your battles)
A snort of hot breathe would come from the tree to the side of the Zangoose as the Sheldon would look him square in the face. A male this time, his tail would swipe from side to side as he looks at them and laugh lightly.
(A tree is a tree here, silly)
The pokemon declares with a voice that told more about it's age. Only a child, it was of course one of the natives of this place and knew it better than any other as something would accord to him ...a moment of insight.
(Though, since you have a native of this place with you .....why didn't you ask that pokemon about what you are searching for?)
The Sheldon would state in a matter which wasn't just humbling but ....shocking a contrast from it's earlier voice as it's tail sweeps from side to side. He would look upwards and then down.
(Just a thought ....though I have many more ...one is telling me to fight you ...another say help. I wonder which thought will win out.)
This was one quirky pokemon.

The sound of hooves as they rushed over the ground would be her answer. She was looking for pokemon now, and maybe, there was a reason why ...she haven't been finding any. Afterall, the guardian of this place still had it's eyes on her, and it would seem that that stantler wasn't about to let her go ...easily ...as he would appear in rush of movement. Jumping over a clump of bushes in one leap he would land on the path in front of them.
She had asked for a pokemon and her wish had been granted.

The boy had watched as both pokemon seemed to split up and end up choosing two different trees. They were both capable of breaking through a tree so that didn't matter. He glanced over and saw that a pokemon was now beside of Kyo. Tensing, he kept his green gaze on them but the pokemon hadn't turned out to be violent...yet. Nyx looked at his tree and then glanced at Kyo. Spotting that a pokemon had appeared beside of the Zangoose, he padded over. He caught the last part of the conversation and took a seat. The Shieldon hadn't attacked so that was good. But it was always good to stay alert. The Zangoose turned upon hearing a sound. Claws slid from their sheaths until he realized the pokemon wasn't attacking. He let them back under the white fur of his paws and then glanced at the Shieldon. It was true, they hadn't thought about asking the Cranidos where amber could be found. There was a chance that it didn't know, but it did live here so the odds weren't against them. The Shieldon was strange, pondering between attacking or helping though it was a good thing he hadn't attacked head on in an instant. Nyx joined them pretty quickly and the Zangoose just looked at the wild pokemon. ["Your idea sounds good. Would you help us and tell us where the amber could be?"] Kyo remarked, glancing at the younger pokemon. The Sheldon looked at him and smiled. IT wasn't a nice smile this time ....as his tail would wag behind him.
(You could ask your friend for something for nothing, but you can't ask the same of an enemy.)
Once more that childish voice was gone as he looks at Kyo. He had been talking of his thoughts at the moment, and it would seem the one to fight had finally won out especially when he had figured out a middleground.
(IF you defeat me, I shall take you to the amber)
The Sheldon would tell them both, and then his eyes would lock on the Zangoose.
(But is shalt be easy)
(Or maybe, it won?)
Again it was another tangle of confusion ....as the pokemon stood there ready for a battle now.
