Rave smiled, "No. It doesn't hurt me, but does this harm you at all?" Shadows encircled him and Gambler, but not the normal ones that she had seen in battle. It was a softer more water like shadow, bringing a sense of water around, but the darkness obvious. His head was cocked to the side as the elf noticed how the light bounced back and forth on his shadows.
That remark made him visibly flinch. "Do you want to know that badly?" Kalore had never before met someone that wanted to know something that didn't involve them before. Most people that he knew just cared about what was going on with them.

Gambler was in awe of the shadows. "This is freaking cool." She commented softly. It didn't harm her unless he wanted it to. Just like her light wasn't harmful unless wanted it to be. "Soooooooooooo, are you the king of shadows?"
Monty shrugged slightly. "You don't have to tell me. It's your business and that must be respected." He said and that was his most sincere way of things.

Kalore sighed, "Then I won't." Laying on his back, the elf made sure that his collar covered the marks again. He knew that there was no way that he would be able to sleep now, but there was a chance for rest. At least, he hoped there was.
"No," Rave smiled again, a laugh wanting to come out but he refused it. "I am not the king of shadows. That would be an interesting title...Are you the Queen of Light?"

Monty nodded and layed down on the floor with his eyes closed. Yes, at least Kalore could understand that he was a complex demon who seemed not to make sense but he did. More so than most. He would leave Kalore in peace.
Gambler shook her head. "Try the Goddess of Light." She teased Rave. She wasn't neither and she didn't want those titles. She liked being a leader, a warrior, and a friend to everyone.

Rave smiled at her and didn't let the shadows drop, enjoying the light show. "I doubt that you would take that name..." He shrugged, "But if you truly wish...But I like Miss Gambler more."
Closing his eyes, Kalore bit the inside of his cheek to make sure that when he fell asleep, if he fell asleep, the elf wouldn't make noise. Kalore knew that the dreams weren't going to stop, but he couldn't do anything as the world of nightmares took him over.

Gambler smiled. "You know, I like Miss Gambler too. Though, if I ever do change my title you'll be the first one to know so you can tell me what you think." She teased, looking at the light on her hands. She let it swirl around her fingers and some colors began to show from it.
Monty was now in a bad mood. He had to know. "Tell me." He said softly, and trying to hide the curiousity and the wanting to know that he felt. Yeah, he still wanted to know because on a small level he cared about his comrades. Again, hanging around Gambler made him soft. "Damnit." He cursed under his breath.

Kaore groaned and finally sat up, fully looking at Monty. Instead of the normal annoyed or mad look, the elf had a look of pain. "Why do you want to know so bad, Monty?" He wasn't yelling, but there was some emotion in his voice that showed either annoyance or pain. Even Kalore didn't really know which one it was.
Smiling, Rave looked at the light change colors, the reflection of it on the shadows made it intersting. The shadows enclosed on Rave and Gambler slightly, hiding them from anything on the outside, but this wasn't rave's doing. When people said that he controled shadows, they were wrong. No one could control them, but Rave could manipulate them. "I'm glad you like it, Miss Gambler."

Monty looked at Kalore. He wasn't going to just no care. 'When I get out of here I'm going to murder that insane woman for making me develope something.' He thought then returned his full attention to the elf. "It is important that my comrades don't go through anything horrible while here. Especially, when I'm present." He stated. Call it what you want but he didn't like it when his comrades suffered in the past, present and future and while he was here, still living, he would make sure that was prevented.
Gambler chuckled. The light and the colors were brighter. "Show offs." Her light and colors were showing off for Rave. She didn't mind but she had to comment on it. Being the ever caring leader she looked at Rave with a slight seriousness. "Have you been able to rest while I was knocked out?" She asked.

Sighing, Kalore spoke, "It's not going to happen again, I promise you, Monty. If you're worried about what caused this happenening again, then rest easy. It won't." No. That would never happen again. There was no way anyone was going to get Kalore in that position again. Not unless... No. Never. Again.
Rave chuckled, the first laugh that he had shown to her yet. "They can be show offs, makes it...lovely." But then he had to sigh, "No. I rested as in relaxing, to an extent, but if you mean sleep, then no, I have not. But, I'm fine here, Miss Gambler." And he was. Rave didn't want to leave Gambler anyway, seeing as this was the most calm he had been with her since the dance at the club. It was nice...very nice.

Monty shook his head. "You don't understand. One of the worst things to say is to not worry. There is never a time, no matter who it is or how cold we can be, we will always worry." Of course he would worry because he was the coldest male of them all, only because he distanced himself from everyone. 'It was all his fault.....' "Kalore. Please cover your ears for a few moments." He said to the male.
Gambler slightly frowned. "But they can get out of control and turn someone into a actual walking rainbow." That has actually happened back in the day when she was still in heaven. She accidently turned Kyoshi, Luci and a few others into walking rainbows. God laughed while she got burnt for it from the others. Then she looked at him. "You should sleep. I don't want you to swoon like a woman, Rave. That would be crazy and don't expect me to kiss you to wake you up like sleeping beauty."

"What?" But Kalore then nodded and then covered his ears. Nomally he wouldn't allow it, but this time, since Monty was seeming to behave, the elf would as well. But before he did so, Kalore checked the collar of his shirt to make sure that his neck was still covered.
Blinking for a moment, Rave's mouth twitched into a smile, and then he covered his mouth as his eyes closed. Rave was laughing. It wasn't just the walking rainbow comment, but the one about him being sleeping beauty, added to how serious Gambler was being. Laughing, Rave tried to hide it, but he couldn't help it. The man hadn't laughed in...in a long time.
The shadows around them waved more, looking more like multi colored rivers surrounding them.

Monty curled his hands into a big fist and punched the wall, letting his anger out. At least some of it. He rested his hand on his knee and looked at the new dent he made. He nodded for Kalore that everything was safe for his ears. He had a very bad temper and that was because when you told him not to worry he would and because that was the same thing a certain someone told him one time. No, it was a bunch of other times.
Gambler looked at him curiously. "You laughing at me huh? Well listen here, Sleeping Beauty, you aren't getting anything from me now." She teased. Rave had a really nice laugh. Generally speaking she wouldn't pay that much attention to anyone because well her mind had a billion other things to do but sitting here with this man and seening his smiles and hearing him laugh, it was nice and perfect somehow.

Eyes wide, Kalore slowly let his hands drop down to his lap. "Um...what was that for?" He knew that some of that anger, maybe all, was due to him. But the elf didn't know what to do to make it better. What happened to him was his fault, fully. The elf was stupid and careless, so it was his fault and his battle. But...Some help would be... Hell no, Kal! This is a demon and he is going to bite you in the a** if you let your guard down! Kalore had to sigh. He didn't want to be that way, but Monty did just try to burn him alive...
"No, no!" Anothe laugh as Rave kep his mouth covered, trying to not laugh. "Not at you, Miss Gambler!" He was grinning, but that was a sight that no one had seen, not even Gambler due to the hand over his mouth. "I'm not laughng at you." No, he was laughing at himself and how great it felt to be like this. Not looking over your shoulder, wondering when you were going to be grabbed and tortured. It was great, and he wanted to keep things like this for as long as possible.

Monty looked at Kalore expressionless. "I had some anger building up and I had to let it go like that." He flexed his hands and massaged it. Since he wasn't in a opened space, his warehouse, or by himself, the demon couldn't have let loose like he wanted to. "I apologize if that disturbs you." He said. It might make this elf sick and disgusted that he was going to have to end up fighting alone side a twisted demon.
Gambler laughed softly. "Good because then that would have hurt my feelings and I would have cried." She kept teasing. His laugh was something to be hold because she wasn't even trying to be funny or anything. It was good to see him happy or content. At least he wasn't thinking about the past.

Smiling at her, Rave stopped laughing and finally uncovered his mouth, the closed mouth smile now visible. "I wouldn't laugh at you, Miss Gambler." No, I don't laugh unless I'm around you...so why would I hurt you like that? But Rave didn't show how surprised he was to hear those thoughts. They were surprising, but Gambler asked a lot of questions. That wasn't an answer that he wanted to give...
Kalore looked at him odd and was quickly by the demon, looking at his fist. "Hitting something isn't a very good way to get anger out..." Taking out a piece of cloth, he spoke before the question arose. "It's got some healing stuff on it. The brat gave it to me and Rave a while ago...it won't heal anything major, but it gets rid of pain and tense muscles..." Rubbing it on quickly so as to not seem odder than he was. "And no, don't apologize. It doesn't bug me." The way he was sitting showed the marks on his neck, but he wasn't concerned about that. At least not when he was doing something else.
