I think the whole aquarium thing should have been optional. Maybe they should have done it like the house and car stuff, you can buy it if you want it.

It is optional. You have the aquarium there and some starter fish but if you don't want to build it...you don't have to.
I'm trying it out...it's okay. You can get some items and even fish off the daily chance so there's no purchase nessissary.
But eh.
