Naw, you want flat you come to Mb, even Saskatchewan is frickin hilly compared to here. But I've lived here all my life. I was in BC for a family reunion two years ago. The mountains were heart and I can't stand Mb anymore because of it. haha i'd b scared of the flatness... alberta was bad enough for all of us cause my family has lived in BC since we were born including my parents.. except for that 10 months haha. and we lived really close to sask so it was a bit flatter too.. Well most of Southern Manitoba used to be part of the huge lake (Lake Agassiz) so yeah, stupid water made it flat. stare I like mentioning a common saying from around here: It's so flat, you can watch your dog run away for a week. well that sux... love the saying though haha Yeah. Unfortunately, I heard a song today that rekindled my love for Winnipeg. Most used line in the song: I hate Winnipeg. rofl haha a hate song rekindles your love eh? tthats always good 3nodding Actually, it's not a hate song. Basically it's a song about how we like to complain about everything. It points out all things we hate about Winnipeg in a funny way, so you end up loving both the song and Winnipeg in the end. One Great City by The Weakerthans. 3nodding ninja One Great City is what we have on our "welcome to winnipeg" signs.

(this may seem off topic but..) any B.C-ians going to the AE con this month? (just wondering, and i know this ain't no anime thread but its a canadian thread so yaaah,...... >.>)

(just wondering, and i know this ain't no anime thread but its a canadian thread so yaaah,...... >.>) When and where is it going to be held? I never went to an anime convention before. xd I know there was one at SFU one time...some of my friends went but I'm not much of an anime fan. If some Gaia admin are present that would give me a reason to go. razz
