Aili entered through the gates, carrying a large bag filled with new research papers from the conference she had just attended. She hoisted the bag higher on her right shoulder as she surveyed her surroundings. In the distance she saw Seyla, a recently appointed elemental arts tutor, talking to a girl she didn't know.
'Probably showing a new student, she's such a generous young lady,' she thought happily and glad that Seyla was the one acting as the liaison between students and teachers. Aili looked around to see if there were any more people she recognized. She had been on this campus for such a long time, but the population was continuously increasing and it was almost impossible to meet everyone in person.
Someone, not a person she recognized, caught her eye. 'I wonder if she's lost?' Deciding that it wouldn't hurt to check out the situation, Aili approached the girl.
"Hi there," Aili greeted with a small smile, "I was wondering if you needed help with anything."

"Of course! I'll introduce you to some of my friends after I show you around the school a bit... if that's alright with you?"
It was more than alright with the faerie. Nodding, she smiled a bit brighter for a moment before calming again, eyeing the arm that Seyla had held out for her to take. It actually took a moment of staring before she recognized the gesture and she laughed a little, taking her skinny little arm and weaving it from underneath Seyla's, chubby cheeks rosy with a bit of embarassment. "Sorry... It's uncommon, among the fae..." She explained with a giggle. Momoko felt a bit like a dope...
Seyla probably didn't think so, Momo figured. She had been very understanding and accepting so far, that Momo figured that she was right. Her silver eyes looked off for a moment as she was lost in her thoughts... but then brought back to earth by Seyla's happy tones.
"Of Course! I like it very much! Thank you Momo!"
"Ah! Ah, really?" Momo asked quickly, separating arms in excitement. She clapped her hands a bit, grinning broadly. It made her very glad that Seyla had accepted the title.
"A-Aane, then!" She decided firmly, placing her hands on her hips and nodding her head. Momo had been surprised... but, it was a good surprise. This also calmed as she then re-joined arms with the elder of the two, looking up admiringly before then ahead, smiling gently. "Okay... I'm ready for anything!" Momo stated chipperly.

As he makes his way to the campus gate he reads the letter silently to himself, wondering why hes doing this and thinking about what he left in the small village he calls home. Still worried about his powers he was curesed as a child with, being able to transform into a wolf, was a gift some of the elders told him, that he was gifted. Paying no time to remember his forgoten past he sees the front of the gate were a android greets him. "Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID". He takes the ID and doesn't say a word as he walks into the campus grounds, after walking away from the gate a bit he walks over to a tree that sits to the side of the sidewalk, he sits down and checks hes gear he left with. Tired from the long journey he puts his hat so it covers his eye and falls asleep.

Noting the awkwardness in the fae’s movements, and her reluctance to link arms, Seyla suddenly felt rather embarrassed. She tried not to show it, instead smiling brightly and covering up her nervousness with a laugh. Seyla didn’t like silence, or awkward moments. She was one of those people who would talk about nothing just so she could hear something. This moment wasn’t quite so awkward, but it was still unnerving enough to warrant the laughter. Soon though, her unease passed as she felt Momo’s lithe arm loop with her own.
"Sorry... It's uncommon, among the fae..."
“It’s quite alright. I’m just as much at fault for not realizing that.” She paused for a moment, taking the time to gather her thoughts. She wanted to put in to words what she was feeling, and she wanted to get it right the first time. Seyla usually spoke first, and then thought about it later. It was only recently that she tried to actively do the reverse. Since she began thinking before speaking, she’d noticed many of her relationships had grown better. It was something she was happy to think about. For once in her life, Seyla could say that she was truly happy.
It had been years since she had been dragged to a hospital, or caged like a rabid dog, no less poked and prodded by mad scientists or the military. Her life was beginning to look up. She hoped that she would never have to go through that again. Deep down, however, she had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that it wasn’t so. To be honest, Seyla hadn’t spoken to anyone about it—not even Mother Aili or Kurai, but she was starting to have troubles with her glove again. Nothing too serious—but she noticed that it no longer heeded to her like it used to. There were moments here or there where she would submit control when she hadn’t even consented to it. It was thus that she had stopped summoning her flame beasts; something she enjoyed particularly in the past due to her special bond with her summons. She knew she would have to talk to someone eventually, but she was afraid of the repercussions. She didn’t want to be locked up again. Okay, so maybe that was a little exaggerated, Mother Aili and Kurai would never let that happen, and she was pretty certain the Headmaster would intervene as well. Even so, she knew they would keep a closer eye on her, and her tutoring privileges might be revoked. It was a deep conflict of interest—she knew Kurai and Aili could give her guidance but asking for such a thing could rip her away from everything she had come to love as of late.
"A-Aane, then!"
Seyla quickly shook her head as if woken from a distant dream. How long had she let her thoughts wander? That was another thing that bothered her lately; she had grown distracted much easily as of late. Maybe Seyla just had a lot of time to think about things? But if that were the case, why would she be doing so in the middle of a conversation with a new friend? It didn’t make sense. She glanced down at the glove. It didn’t look any different—and she certainly hadn’t been taken anywhere without her knowledge. She was clean, unscarred, completely untouched. That was indeed out of the question.
‘What are you up to? Something’s not quite right here. We were just starting to get along too…why are you fighting me again?’ The questions echoed in her mind as if the glove upon her hand, and the chip imbedded in her brain could actually process and understand them. Somewhere she felt like someone was looking down and laughing at her pitiful quandary.
"Okay... I'm ready for anything!"
‘Momo! Oh yes Momo! Geeze Seyla, stop letting your mind wander!’ Seyla scolded herself harshly in her head as she tried her best to smile brightly back at the fae. Momo had a look of admiration upon her face. Yes, they had only just met, but it was clear that the other girl looked up to her very much. Momo—she decided—would be her new reason to figure things out. She wanted to help this girl, and be friends with her, and that meant maintaining complete control over her glove, even in its currently rebellious state.
"Hi there," Aili greeted with a small smile, "I was wondering if you needed help with anything."
Seyla recognized the soft tone of Mother Aili’s voice somewhere behind her. She spun around hoping that it really was the very same woman she thought of. It would be rather convenient if it was her. After all, Seyla had promised to introduce her to Momo. Seyla’s face seemed to light up at the sight of Mother Aili.
’Funny how people are always around the corner when you speak of them, she mused to herself. It was funny indeed. Of course, that phrase was usually used in a negative connotation—a deterrent of gossip of sorts. Even so, it still rang true.
“Momo! Guess what!” she exclaimed happily, “Mother Aili is here…although she seems to be helping another student.” The end of her statement trailed off quietly, as if she was slightly disappointed. Even so, she was sure Mother Aili would be happy to meet Momo. She would just have to be patient and wait for her to finish helping the other student. It was the polite thing to do, just as Mother Aili had taught her. She carefully lead Momo so that she spun around. Now the two of them were facing the front gates. The sun shone high in the sky behind them.
“Now, see that woman with the silver hair? That’s Mother Aili, isn’t she so pretty?” Mother Aili had a very angelic appearance about her, no one could deny that. Seyla had always admired her both as a person, and in appearance. Mother Aili was pure, Seyla was just…tainted. She glanced down at her glove again with a frown. Maybe she should talk to Mother Aili or Kurai about this…

Waking from his long nap he looks around to see if anything has changed. He stands up and lets sound a sigh and begins to walk farther from the tree he was at. "This place doesn't seem like it'll be easy to get used to". He walks deeper into the campus keeps he makes sure no one is following him and continues to walk.

Jupiter gulped staring at the tall iron gates she found herself shaking from nerves, her heart racing she dropped her suitcase on the ground her head dropping forward. "Come on Jupiter what are you doing?!" She yanked one of her own pig tails making an unattractive squinty face. She looked up through her bangs at the large iron gate and took a deep breath, straightening her back and slowly raising her hand her pointer finger pointed directly at the gate. Shouting, "I hope you're all ready cause here comes Jupiter Love!" Her nervous frown turned into a confident smirk and she grabbed her suitcase firmly marching through the gates. She began to relax as she saw how beautiful the campus was. And then suddenly she heard, "Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID". She jumped out of her skin, stumbling backwards almost falling but managing to catch herself at the last second. She eye balled what apparently was an android and handed it her papers. She smiled awkwardly thinking to herself, what a pretty android a blush coming to her cheeks. "Thank you Jupiter Love," The android handed her back her papers. Jupiter shook her head furiously snapping herself out of the day dream and made her way down the path.

A black car with tinted windows rolled up to the school entryway, slowed, and stopped. For a long moment the engine idled, and then the back door was gently nudged open. A bright pink boot attached to a leg masked in stripes emerged, and with an exuberant skip yet another new member of Ria High stood and stretched. An almost alarming array of pinks, blacks, and whites, the girl's pink slitted eyes almost instantly brightening at the sight of the school's iron gates.
"You're going to be late for your registration if you just stand around." a tired voice spoke from the darkened front seat of the car, male and strained despite an obvious attempt to mask it. "This place gives you a lot of freedom, but you don't want to make a bad impression on your first day."
The very thought seemed offensive to the girl, and her eyes widened as she whirled around to stare into the car. The old man in the front seat didn't look at her, but that didn't seem to bother the girl at all. Instead she grabbed a white backpack and slung it onto her back, completely ignoring the indignant squeak that came from its depths as it thumped against her back.
"Lotti does not want to make a bad impression!" the girl said, her smile already back on her face. She lugged out a rather large set of suitcases with obvious strain and set them on the sidewalk with a sense of victory, her smile a mile wide. "Lotti will do her best, Uncle!"
"I'm not your..!" the old man started and then stopped himself abruptly, allowing a moment to pass before he continued in forced calm. "Just... run along. And try not to get into any trouble this time."
"Uncle means not to blow anything up!" the girl named Lotti said brightly, apparently not miffed in the slightest when this remark got the door slammed in her face. She ducked to wave through the window as the engine revved and the car bolted away, only just managing to maintain the speed limit as the car disappeared. Lotti let her arm drop with a sigh, looking after the car curiously. "Did Uncle seem odd to you, Mr. Jack?"
"He's running away..." a young man's voice answered from the depths of her backpack. "He's always running away. He's such a coward."
"Stop saying mean things about Uncle Claude, Mr. Jack, or I'll make you disappear!" the girl spoke, wagging a finger at nothing in particular before her. When a pouty silence met her the girl smiled widely, spun on her heel, and strained to lift her twin suitcases. "Alright, Mr. Jack... let's go say hello to our new classmates! I'm so excited!"
An audible sigh was heard from her backpack but the girl ignored it, lugging her suitcases up the short sidewalk to the iron gates. It took all of the meager self-restraint the girl had within her to keep from poking everything she came across, and Lotti brightened as she saw a form, a woman standing beyond the gates who was looking at her expectantly now that she had finished with the student before Lotti. Making directly for the woman Lotti paused before her, allowing her suitcases to drop heavily onto the ground on either side of her.
"Hello there! Lotti is..."
"Lost." the voice from inside her backpack interrupted.
"Lotti is not lost!" she exclaimed loudly, glanced back to the unimpressed android, and gave her an unapologetic, toothy grin. "Lotti is here to register, but she is not sure where to go."
There was a moment of silence.
"Welcome to Ria High School. Please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID." the female android replied, and despite her being one with a bit of imagination could imply skepticism in her tone.
"Acceptance letter? Lotti does not know; Uncle handled all of Lotti's affairs..."
"It's in here." Mr. Jack's voice interrupted. "It's the foldy bit of paper Claude gave you."
"Oh, of course! Lotti remembers!" she informed the nonplussed android as she dragged her backpack around to the front of body to dig through the contents. A notepad, several scraps of paper, and the black and white ears of a stuffed rabbit flew in and out of view before the girl's hand emerged victorious, clutching a slightly crumpled envelope that she promptly presented to the android greeter. "Lotti has found it!"
The female android carefully took the paper and unfolded it to read over the information. In the moment it took to process Lotti righted her backpack and rocked back and forth on her bright pink heels, watching the android curiously. The woman then turned to a table and sought out Lotti's information among all of the papers she had before her with an efficiency that said that she already knew where it was. In a flash a card and a piece of paper were pushed her way, and Lotti took them automatically before looking down at them curiously.
"Your affairs appear to be in order, Charlotte Korbë. Here is your identification card which you should keep on your person at all times. Please fill out this paper and return it to the office soon, preferably now. It's your student agreement form essential for your enrollment. My name is Lilith, and if you have any questions I can direct you to someone who can help you. If not you may continue to the tables, where you will find information helpful for your time here on campus."
"Oooh... thank you very much! Lotti does not have any questions!" the girl replied as she craned her arm back over her shoulder to stuff her paper and ID into her backpack, once again easily ignoring the indignant squawk such a move invoked from Mr. Jack.
"Then welcome once again, and enjoy your stay here at Ria High."
Even someone with Lotti's capacity for understanding emotions could recognize that gentle dismissal, and Lotti grinned and nodded before setting her face into a determined expression and hefting her suitcases into hand. Almost instantly forgetting the paper that needed filling out she moved around the greeting android and looked for the students, curious as ever as she made her way towards them.

Nevaeh fluidly walked through the gates for the first time, confused and unsure what she was getting herself into. She paused at the gate and showed all the proper papers and entered the school grounds. "I'm going to get so lost here I know it" she mumbled lowly. She kept a slow pace looking for any familiar faces but to her disappointment there was none. So she continued to scan for at least a friendly face so she wouldn't feel so alone here at this brand new school, filled with so many strangers.

Iron gates... even with the flora they have decorating these bars, it makes me think foremost of confinement, Jaden thought as he walked into the maw of the object of his mind's casual analysis. He sighed shortly and adjusted his shoulders to scoot the straps of his single backpack in place. It was all he needed for now, the rest of his stuff was on the way. I've never taken well to idea of confinement, but perhaps the campus is large enough to overlook that fact. They did say it was a large campus, after all...
They being his parents, or at least the servants that his parents had sent to inform him. His mother and father, being of nobility, had other thing to attend to than hold the hand of their twenty-year-old son's hand as he went of to school. Even if they had come along, it would not have mattered to Jaden.
"Do I really have to waste time with this?" He muttered to himself in regard to both the school and the female-modeled android that seemed to be greeting, processing, and directing new students. "Only one android to manage this? Either it's highly capable and prepared, or the students are expected to be." He doubted the school was being cheap, and they probably did not get waves of new students regularly. The android took care of a few other students before Jaden's turn was up. He didn't mind the wait, really. To him, it was simply a short chance to enjoy not being in a learning curriculum again.
"Welcome to Ria High School, please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID." Jaden balked briefly at the machine's awkwardness. It should have introduced itself first, at the very least. He shrugged it off, then whipped an envelope with an additional paper attached to it out of his tunic pocket quickly, and handed it to the android. "Firstly, I am Jaden Klad. I'm sure you'll find everything to be in order. Secondly, what is your designation?" The android examined the paper and envelope as it told him she was named 'Lilith' before handing him what appeared to be a Student ID Card in exchange. Jaden gave a quick, customary thanks before walking quickly past the machine, towards a table strewn with information.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed another student, a girl, slowly approaching the gates. He turned his gaze towards her, and figured she must be either shy or looking for some one. He looked for a moment longer before he turned his eyes back to the table. Oh, a campus map. Jaden stood there, studying the map, and occasionally running a hand through his silvery hair or pushing his thin oval glasses back up, as they had a tendency to slide down when his head was tilted forward.

Nevaeh noticed the boy glancing over at her, but wasn't at all sure if his demeanor was that of a friendly person, or a curious one. This is when she noticed he was standing by the table with a bunch of informational packets, and pamphlets.. "duh.." she thought mindlessly, and as she began to make headway towards the table, her bag loosely floated behind her as her legs like liquid soared through the air like melted butter.
The wind was flowing through her black locks, and her bangs separated in that cute awkward way as it brushed them lightly aside her face. Not a hint of clumsiness was legible and as she made it to the table, a small gust of wind that was following her came to a halt. She looked at the boy and gave a small smile and then looked through some of the packets and pamphlets scattered on the table. Her fingertips brushed over them lightly and they scattered a bit, as she grasped one next to him.
"Campus map.. I'm definitely going to need this.." she mumbled low and cool under her breath, and picked it up. She noticed the boy was carrying one as well..and smiled.
"My name is Nevaeh, are you new as well..?" As soon as she said this she felt immediately dumb. "Of course he's new. Just shut up Nevaeh." she thought, and began to back away from the table slightly, as she tried to busy herself and browse other pamphlets.

A car could be heard in the distance, and soon came into view, revealing itself to be something a bit more. It looked similar to the type of armored cars that transported money from bank to bank. The kind you'd see being robbed in action movies. However, this one didn't contain any protected bills. It was meant to protect people from what was inside. The back had no windows, barred or otherwise, keeping the figure inside completely hidden. Though, it was speeding rather quickly toward the school, as if the driver was anxious to be rid of his cargo. Soon, the armored vehicle pulled up to the gates. Two armed men stepped from the front and circled around where one tugged open the doors, with the other behind him with his weapon raised.
Out stepped a somewhat surprising figure. He didn't look too bad, at least at first glance. Sure, his hair was a little wild, and he was ghostly pale with oddly red eyes, but he was normal. He was human. His wrists were bound before him in handcuffs, the metal glinting in the sunlight. He tipped his head back, staring upwards as he stepped from the van. His height was immediately noted, 6'7" dwarfing the size of his guards. Slowly, his head lowered, and just that look caused both men to visibly tense. The tall man's lips twitched, showing the first signs of emotion upon his face. He was dressed in a belted shirt that showed a little bit of his flat stomach, with the left sleeve missing. On that hand he wore a strip of fabric at his wrist, which appeared to be a part of the absent sleeve, held snug by a fastened belt. More crossed around his chest and stomach, even more at his waist, crossed over each other. His pants were fairly snug as well, black also, with a red belt around one thigh and another around his other leg's ankle. A pair of heavy looking boots and another black belt around his neck finished the look.
"...so are you just gonna stand there gawkin', or are you gonna get me the hell outta this?" he asked, slightly droning in apparent boredom.
One of the guards jumped slightly, then scowled and approached. "If you try anything..."
"Yeah, yeah... I know the drill... sir."
The sarcasm was ignored, as the man tugged a key from his pocket and placed it against the handcuffs. They fell away with a soft click and the man hastened back, the other lifting his gun more readily. This, of course, caused the tall male to laugh, but his head was lowered, watching his hands as they rubbed at his wrists. "Thought you would've noticed by now... that doesn't work on me."
Again, his comment was ignored. "Kyouichi Ishikawa, you are hereby released on a trial basis. If you manage to behave yourself in here..." The guard paused, as if the idea seemed almost too crazy to say aloud, and then went on. "..then you will be released on probation." There was a long pause then, the air static with expectation. Then, finally...
"..step aside." The guard swept forward and reached into the back of the van, pulling out a thick metal case. He unlocked it with another key and pushed it open, to reveal the large, silver gun tucked away inside. He pulled it out and, with obvious reluctance, handed it over to a suddenly grinning Kyouichi. Except, the grin looked a bit odd. His eyes were too wide, giving him a slightly manic look. That didn't help the guard's apprehension in the slightest. "I sweat to god, you punk, if you so much as lift that at someon-"
He cut off sharply, eyes growing wide as he found himself staring down the barrel of the heavy gun, which Kyou handled with one-handed ease. "You'll what..?" he asked mockingly. "You'll shoot me..? We all know how that'd end up, sir." Another chuckle, and he withdrew the gun, propping it against his shoulder at the crook of his neck as he turned his back to them, facing the gates. "Well, see ya later guys. Hope you rot in hell." With that, he pushed open the gates and stepped into his new prison yard.
...it wasn't too bad. Definitely better than that little s**t hole of a cell he'd had before. Here there was grass under his feet and fresh air and- ...and robots? What was she doing? Asking him for... his ID? He blinked once, then tilted his head back to peek toward the guards. Oh, that was great. They were already speeding away in that damn mobile prison. "...lesse..." he mumbled, reaching into his pocket, then another, before tugging out a card and some papers. He waited with obvious impatience, tapping his gun against his shoulder despite how he had his finger on his trigger. "I'll take that," he announced as soon as she offered him some papers. He snatched them from her hand as he moved past her, venturing further into the schoolyard with red eyes sweeping over every person and thing in sight.

With all of the commotion of the truck going on in the background of birds chirping and students laughing, Nevaeh turned her head to see what the commotion was. She watched the whole scene go down, and her curiousity was piqued. "Whats up with this guy..?" she thought selflessly. "And that gun... wow."
Nevaeh just turned away and pretended she didn't notice anything once the he came into the gate. She just kept browsing the pamphlets on the table, taking one here and there, she especially liked the fact that there was a hot spring here. "Great place to get drunk." she thought, and moseyed on about her own business.

There might as well have been a glowing, holy light around the tables covered with information; Lotti looked at the information that was supposed to be of help to her during her stay at Ria High as if it was some sort of divine gift. Lotti was the sort of girl who took things literally; when the android named Lilith said that she would find 'information helpful for your time here on campus' she took it almost as an order, and the young woman looked at them with excitement. As far as Lotti was concerned the information was a gift, and she reverently gathered one of each of the provided documents, even though there was little to no way she would be joining some of the clubs and activities advertised; Mr. Jack wouldn't allow it, she was sure.
"Heeeeeelpfulll..." Lotti cooed, snuggling the papers to her chest before shifting to stuff them haphazardly into her bag.
"Would you try to remember that I'm in here?!" the voice from her bag snapped, tone annoyed.
Lotti wasn't listening; her eyes were immediately attracted to the school gates and the new students surging in behind her. A few guys and a girl, all looking much more attuned to the whole school environment then the pinky girl. But on closer inspection Lotti could see that that wasn't entirely true; some were disgruntled, others almost bored, some pleases. It was a variety of emotions, and Lotti spent several long moments grinning at them stupidly; variations in emotions were kinda a new thing for her. After all, one even had a gun! She'd only seen pictures of the things before, and it was with pride that Lotti gave herself a mental pat on the back for learning something. Already!
"Lotti, why have we stopped?" Mr. Jack whispered from her backpack, suspicious as ever.
"There are students here! Students that are new just like Lotti!" the young woman replied, her tone excited. "You should come out and see them... they look friendly! One even has a gun!"
"A gun..?!" Mr. Jack sputtered before continuing in a huff. "Lotti, don't even think about it. You do as you were told by Claude and go straight to..!"
Ignoring the voice once again, Lotti turned to the individual closest to her, a young woman browsing pamphlets. She watched the girl with utmost curiosity before looking back and forth between the other newcomers. Mr. Jack obviously held some sort of influence over the strange girl; despite her obvious desire to communicate she resigned herself to watching them with curiosity, silent... for the moment.
