Success! It had worked... but for how long was the question. The wolf ears atop her head had folded against her skull for the moment they embraced, though the flicked once with a voice that seemed to come from the tiger. Ein was speaking, she knew that. Letting go of him as the beast within began to win again she pondered quickly what to do. Think, think! What to do! She looked aorund as if the remaining few who watched would give an answer. Her first tactic had worked, but only for a minute, and she dare not try and use her human form to try again for more reasons them just being crushed by him. Looking over the tiger form as he clutched his own head she took the time to knock him over, using most of her might to tip him with a shoulder tackle. Sitting on his chest and placing her pawed hands on either side of his face she looked at him straight in the eyes, taking the moment to change her vocal cords human for the moment. "Ein, I know your in there. Fight this! I know your stronger than that." She said in human tones, though they were rocky and growled in her form. Then, leaning forward and moving with what struggle he gave she licked a placed on his forehead, smae general place she had kiss him eariler that night when he was afraid.

Zzeill's second display of affection made the beast's mind withdraw slightly once more, allowing Ein another brief moment of control. He managed to growl out another few words this time. "...R-run...it'll give chase...w-wear it down..." He could see that the beast had lost interest in slaughtering everyone around him, and was now zeroing its rage on Zzeill. With all that fury condensed on one target rather than millions, it gave the beast a whole new definition of power. It took no effort to push Ein aside this time, and it regained control fast. But before it did, Ein managed one last word. "RUN!" All manner of fear was behind that word. Fear that he knew he had lost control, fear for Zzeill, fear of how long this beast could keep going before it tired. The tiger thrashed powerfully and connected a balled fist with Zzeill's chest to knock her off of him with all the force of a massive engine piston. The creature got to its feet, growling. It roared at Zzeill and began moving towards her, wanting to toy with its new prey.

Nodding she went to move away, though caught in the chest yet again with a powerful blow managed to knock her off just as easily. Gasping for air to refill her lungs gave sounds to some nasty sounding breaths and the popping of bone didnt add anything good to it either. Looking up from the ground she laid on she managed to pulled her wolven lips int a weak smile, getting up quickly. "Here... kitty.. kitty." She said between breaths before jumping up and scaling the building closest to her. Running it was, though off the streets would be better she guessed. Getting on a roof she crouched on all fours and took off, tearing at blinding speeds across roof tops, jumping gaps and moving swiftly. In nautres design it was simple, a tiger would catch a wolf, but she had more experiance and knew what she was doing. Smaller frame, better agility and she used to to dodge if the tiger got to close, turning off a straigh path to get away in the event he got too close for comfort.

He let out a savage roar and lived up to the legend that cats can jump incredibly high. In one leap, he had cleared half the building. Digging his claws into the stone masonry, he cleared the rest of the building easily. It saw Zzeill bounding from rooftop to rooftop. Only one at a time. Not only was this creature powerful, it was crafty. He ran on all fours and leapt when he hit the roof's edge. The tiger easily cleared a few buildings, hit the ground running, and leapt again. It was catching up on Zzeill quickly. It hit the rooftop she had just leapt off of, and now had only one last jump to make. He sprung off the rooftop at a trajectory that carried its bulk farther than Zzeill, and it landed hard on the next rooftop she was headed for. The landing alone had cracked fissures into the rooftop's masonry, and Ein could only watch the events off the sidelines through the creature's eyes, and no matter how hard he had tried, he couldn't break the beast's grip. It had full control.

Zzeill was going one by one on the roof tops, she wanted to tire him, not lose him. Ears twisting back on her skull she could hear him getting closer... she forgot they could jump like that, but as stated earilier, she knew he would catch her. Taking a jump about the same time he did she faulted on her last stried into the jump seeing him fly over her. he cleared the gap, though she ended up slaming her bottom half from the waist down into the building. Digging claws into the roof and hind claws into the building next to her she looked up, seeing he had landed fine. Snorting and growling she lept back, pushing from the building and twisting to catch the one she had just left and bring herself up on its roof. Turning quickly she looked at the cat from across the roof gap, thinking about what to do. She couldnt run forever and from the looks of it, he wasnt tired yet. Hell fire! Tilting her head up she let a howl escape her muzzle before turning to dash off in the direction she had come, her eyes never leaving the tiger untill she had turned to run off.

The creature dropped off the side of the building and landed on the crowded sidewalk below, evoking screams and gasps of surprise from the dense crowd. Paying no attention to them, it trained its hearing on the sound of Zzeill's claws scraping the roof stone as she jumped from building to building. On all fours, the tiger barrelled through the crowd, knocking people out of the way without even stopping. It was much faster running than jumping, and the lycan wouldn't have expected it to do something like this. When he caught the sound of her jumping directly above him, he leapt up the next building, onto the roof, and caught the lycan female by her ankle. No! The creature growled, baring its fangs, and readied a claw for a strike that it wanted to count.

The lycan had stopped at one point, not hearing the cat behind her as she ran. Looking about she could catch sounds of a crownd screaming and growled. Taking another leap she aimed steadily ahead, caring to find him now. Suddenly a powerful grip on her ankle caused her to lose balance and fall on the roof rather than the gracful landings she had done earilier tonight. Looking up at the tiger she struggleed to move and instead opted for a different idea. Moving to try and dodge the claws the tiger had held for her she dug her own into the tigers flesh, scratching at him leg if she had managed to catch it away. "I am sorry Ein." She thought to herself in the midst of all the action. Staying nearby so long probably wasnt the best of ideas she had the whole night, but she could see running wasnt going to do the trick.

The tiger roared in pain and threw Zzeill across the rooftop. The gouges in its leg mended quickly. Ein grimaced in pain...at least as much as a mind can grimace. He ignored it, though. Zzeill was only defending herself after all. It ran across the rooftop to where Zzeill had fallen, grabbed her by whatever ankle was closest, and tossed her a good distance onto another rooftop a few buildings away. But the creature wasn't done yet. It leapt the distance easily and cracked the roof stone as it landed. Growling furiously, it started making its way over to the lycan.

Twisting in the air as best she could she managed to land on her feet, digging claws into the roof to keep from sliding too much. Seeing the large zoanthrope move toward her she turned to run, leaving her open for his attack to begin with so it was no suprise when she was thrown across the rooftops. Landing with a loud thud on the roof to which he threw her she shook her head out, long head fur moving with the motion. She heard him before she saw him, and with a flash of feral instince she jumped on him, opening her jaws wide to bite into his shoulder... she got about as far as touching teeth to fur before she stopped. What would her bite do to him? Was the thought behind the hesitation, and it would probably cost her dearly for such a hesitation in this fight.

The zoanthrope used her hesitation to land a solid punch to her chest and deliver a kick to her stomach which would send her reeling across the rooftop. The creature roared angrily again. It hadn't done any serious damage to her yet. Its claws hadn't raked her flesh and its teeth hadn't gone for killing move. Ein was still grappling with the creature's mind for control, but every time he was denied. But at least he knew he was distracting it, even though slight. Or maybe it was the other part of the recombinant DNA, that of the raccoon, that was doing it. Raccoons weren't naturally aggressive, and would only fight if they absolultely had to, for fear of their life. Maybe that was somehow allaying part of the ferocity that the zoanthrope inherited from the tiger DNA. If that was the case, Ein only hoped it lasted long enough until the creature would tire. If it used its claws and teeth, Ein was deathly afraid he'd be responsible for...No, that wouldn't happen. He knew it wouldn't...he hoped...

Damn, indeed her hesitation costed her, painfully. Laying on the other side of the roof she rolled around slightly in pain, again looking for breath to fill her lungs. With one arm wrapped about her waist and the other clawing marks into the roof top she listened for his moves, keeping tabs on him at all times while she could. But any more of this was sure to lead to her eventually passing out no doubt, espically if he got a good blow to her head. And after that, she shuddered to think it. Pushing herself up off the ground she moved to her feet, the one arm still wrapped about her waist and the other hanging losely at her side for the moment. Gritting her teeth she set at a run again, headed toward him and made it look as if she went to jump him, but she quickly changed course and slid under the tiger, grabbing his tail as she did so to pull herself up and onto his back, wrapping her arms about his neck to hold on. Back claws dug into his back as she held on with what moves he would do after that while her arms remained wrapped about his neck, enough to apply pressure, but not to strangle... that seemed to make humans pass out, though on something like this, she didnt know if it would work.

The zoanthrope roared in pain again and gripped Zzeill's arms, trying to pry them off of its neck. When it found it was having trouble using just sheer strength, it dug its vicious claws into her arms and wrenched them off of his neck. After freeing her arms from his neck, he pulled her off of his back, forcing her to remove her claws from his flesh, and threw her even more forcefully than before into the roof entrance door. The tiger was breathing heavily, regaining lost breath and giving a feline version of a cough. It hadn't expected such a bold move from its prey.

Zzeill ended up tearing the flesh of Eins back as she was pulled off. Smacking hard into the wall she scrambled to all fours and shook her dark fur out, glaring back up at him. In a smiple blink her eye color went from human blue to canine yellow, allowing feral action to take over instead of planned movement she had been using. Howling she lept toward him, landing just before the tiger and spreading her feet apart. Bringing her arms back and lacing her finger together she stopped her feet and broght her fist forward, like a batter would swing a bat. Slmaing her hands into the tigers chest with a stranght that came with her more feral side and what she had been holding back.

The tiger was knocked off his feet and onto the adjacent rooftop, cracking and splintering the cement at the unexpected display of power from Zzeill. The tiger got up, growling. Finally, the gloves were off! He leapt off the rooftop back at Zzeill, feet first that connected with her chest, and pinned her down, like she had done to him many times. He raised a claw to strike, getting ready to finally deal the final blow.

Holding her stance for a mintue after the tiger had been knocked away she stared with a wildness at the tiger. Calming she unlaced her fingers and brought her feet together, ready for a move, though she met with the feet of a tiger instead. Growling and wiggling she curled and bent her legs under him to manage scratching at his back. In her thrashing she snarled and opened her muzzle, throwing her head to the side to bite into the tigers thigh, using powerful jaws to get the message across that he had better think twice about trying to kill her off. From under him, she couldnt get a good grip to throw him off, so she hoped this worked.
