"Crap!" Sienna had been quietly observing the chaos unfold, and was caught in the middle of the tear-gas cloud. Her eyes teared and in an attempt to protect herself covered her mouth with her arm. "Up we go!" The trainer hopped on her pidgeot as quickly as she could and soared above the gas. "Fan the gas away!" She commanded, coughing and wiping the tears away from her eyes. Meanwhile Frey beat his wings downward in an attempt to clear away the gas.

Rachel's eyes widened as she turned and ran away from the area of attack. Suddenly she was very glad Rei was in her pokeball. Who knows how big of an explosion might happen when the gas hits the fire pokemon!

There was no time to see if anyone had heard him. The rockets had released tear gas. This was definitely not going to get easier.
"Things only get worse before they get better!" he shouted as Claret moved him and herself away from the cloud of tear gas that was expanding around.

Panicking, Lauren curled up into a ball. It felt like someone had dumped salsa on her eyes. A howl of pain escaped her mouth. She couldn't think, she couldn't see, and she could barely breathe.

"It's good to see you too, I was getting a bit worried..." She says like she wasn't grabbed herself later, but minor details, right?
She and Tauros and a mutual feeling of uselessness as they watched others try and work on the shield, there really wasn't much anything they could do.
Before she could comment on Alexa's answer a gas started to spread, causing Tauros to run and take Lynne with him, in the general direction of the others.

Shina scrambles back from the inn, coughing as she tries to escape the tear gas. "Agh!" Her vision grows blurry and her eyes sting as she seeks cleaner air.

 The urgency of the situation meant slacking off was unacceptable. People could really get hurt! Lamen grabbed the speakerphone from Luna. "Don't mind if I do," she said, then shouted at everyone:
"EVACUATE THE CIVILIANS, FIRST! RETREAT AND REGROUP!"
"Thanks," she added, handing back the speakerphone. Whether Luna took it or not, Lamen dashed off to grab the granny from before, who was sitting too close to the inn. "Potatobi, Donut- do the same." She ordered.

 "Urg!" Kaskia groaned, as the tear gas started to spread. She quickly ran out of the gas, with Eldur still held tightly in her arms. Once she was away she set Eldur down, coughing. "Furret," Eldur whined, worry about his trainer. "I'm fine," she told him, giving him a pat on the head.

To the Rockets/Attack::
As the gas began to spill in, the breeder acted quickly, "Jon! Razor Wind!"
Without a hitch, the Absol's horn glew brightly, and it's head reared back. Poising itself before the oncoming gas, it sent a slice of wind straight in its direction to cut through the fog.

Rhia heard the word attack and lifted an arm before she saw the canister flying at them. Before she had time to react, Oyumi was dragging her along, back towards the woods. "Come on, Carter!" She hollered back, not wanting to lose sight of him again. He had been a police officer, but that didn't mean Rhia felt comfortable with her friends disappearing on her.
How could the canister pass through the shield in one direction but not let them through? Everything with Team Rocket had two sides. Even the inn had secret passages that hid them for this long from the general public.
"The unconscious man!" She gripped Oyumi's arm when they finally stopped, then looked for Luna, the leader of their little band of infiltrators.
"Luna!" She didn't want to bellow this, because if she was wrong she would look stupid, and if she was right she would warn Team Rocket. "I'll be right back." Rhia hurried her way to Luna and took a light hold of her arm to get her attention. "The man who went missing that we found on the mountain. The nurses said he had just vanished. Well even if that wasn't true, even if they helped Team Rocket, they couldn't have gotten him outside and had no one notice. What if there are more passageways connecting the PokeCenter to the inn? Could that be possible, and if it is, couldn't we get through their shield that way?" She looked at the PokeCenter a little doubtfully. "I know it's a long shot, but it's an idea."

Carter frowned, it was a farfetch'd story, but there had been stranger incidents. In short he believed the girl, "I'm with Oyumi, I believe you too. And she's right, you must have been in contact with something rare." He gave her a reassuring smile, "Lucky you."
Coughing he pulled his undershirt over his nose and darted out of the way. He didn't have a pokemon that could help with gas like that. "Damnit there's gotta be something we can do." Frustrated, he kicked at the ground, "Maybe we should look into more of what happened to you, there seem to be a lot of people occupied with the shield right now"

Xiaflame Kaskia looked at the shield, and listened to what everyone had to say. "Would water work to overload it?" she wondered out loud.  "Probably only serve to get some poor person electrocuted," Corn said.
Just then, a grenade of some sort was chucked out into the crowd.
"grENAADE. BAD NEWS, MOVE," Corn stammered, retreating as quickly as she could.

@Anyone Bringing Meeka out of the range of the tear gas, she settled her trainer down. "Alright?" she asked and Meeka nodded her head, squinting her eyes as tears ran down. "I'm okay. They got me a little. Look at you though, she got hit a lot. Need some water?"
The Mewtwo shook her head, clearly pissed and ready to rip off a couple of Rockets' head for hurting her caretaker. "I'm fine," she replied, nodding her head. "Pissed, but good."
Meeka just laughed. She wondered how the others were doing. Hopefully Opal was well. Hopefully.

"We're Team Rocket, we're all about getting dirty."
She got another canister ready and waiting, looking to her peers to see what weapons they would also be throwing into the mix.

 Evacuate the civilians? Anise assumed that meant the townsfolk. That she could do. She found a weak-looking young man in the group, grabbed his arm and said, "Come on, let's get you out of here." The man was too tired to resist her insistent pulling, and she quickly lead him well away from the Inn.
