Leaning back in the chair, Rave nodded. He looked at peace but even like this he was still on guard. "Quite. The sky looks even better...Do you like it, Miss Gambler?" He didn't think her rude because it wasn't his place. The two had just had a fight, and even though it was hopefully done, she may still be mad. It was my fault so she has her rights.
Eyes snapping open, Kalore jerked foreward but found tht he couldn't, "What the hell?!" Looking behind him, he saw the demon. "What the...?" This was unexpected, but the elf didn't really see what was behind him. All Kalore saw was the grinning face of the elven bas*ard as he ruined Rave's life.

Monty frowned and looked at Kalore. "Kalore? Are you okay?" Those were the only, if stupid, words he could say or think of because this wasn't what he would normally do, even though he did show kindness to Gambler hours before.
Gambler smiled at Rave. "I like it very much but more so because you do. It's the best I can offer though." She went to sit back in the chair next to Rave's and looked up. "So, I don't normally say this or do this but I apologize if you felt that I was insulting you in any way down stairs. I was just kidding. I warned you that I'm a curse. Can't handle it, oh well. But if it made you uncomfortable, I'll be more than happy to not do those things around you." She said, turning her head to look at Rave.

Rave smiled at her and briefly wondered if she understood how miraculous that it was that he actually smiled. And only around her. "I don't mind. Just know that if you're going to do that, I will retaliate. I apologize if I went to far, but that's kind of how I am, Miss Gambler."
"I'm...I'm fine, R-...Monty." The demon was showing some kindness, no matter how awkward it was so Kalore would match it. There was no point in starting something while the elf was freaking out and the demon was this close to him. Kalore noticed that Monty's skin was hot, even without him meaning to hurt him it was much hotter than any other race's that the blond knew.

Gambler laughed. "Are you kidding me? You did the impossiable without being killed on the spot. You are now a legend among my group and most likely everyone who has ever heard of me name. Though, that flick to the nose was very much uncalled for and I would like your permission to return that one." Rave smiled again. It was a beautiful smile that had her heart beating fast and her stomache jumping up and down. She poked his cheek. "You look nice when you smile. It makes your eyes bright....Or is that the stars?" She looked up at them.
Monty still looked concerned and kept his frown. "Are you sure? It was as if...." It wasn't his business and he shouldn't say anything. He should just let be what it is and be glad that he actually did develope some form of kindness, however small it was.

"A flick to the nose? What?" Rave's confused look then went to understanding, "Oh! I remember that...I'm sorry and yes you may return it if you wish." He smiled again. "And...thank you, Miss Gambler. You have a beautiful smile as well." And that was the truth. Rave didn't think that he was all that impressive looking, no matter what people said and did involving him, but Gambler, as unruly and childish she could be at times, was perfection.
Kalore looked confused, but didn't move. "As if what?" No, he wasn't sure, but at the moment, Monty didn't need to know that. In the elf's eyes, the moment this demon saw any weakness in him, he was going to use it against Kalore. And he really didn't need that now.

He sighed. He got himself involved. "It was as if you were in pain and well....If I caused it, I apologize." He did apologize to that because he went over board physically but verbally he didn't take it back.
Gambler flicked his nose and sat back with a huge grin on her face. "Naaaah. I don't like my smile. I either look like a wild animal or terriable. That's why I hate pictures." She took her jacket off that she had and put it on the back of her chair. "So Rave, what's on your mind?" Since life seemed very calm at the moment, she was going to take advantage in this peace time before another psycho decides to kill someone. Hopefully it wasn't her or anyone she cares for but then again she wasn't the Fates or God to prevent that from happening.

"You didn't cause me pain, De-" Kalore sighed. Old habits die hard, but he continued, "You weren't the cause of any pain, Monty." That was a partial lie. The demon had succeeded in causing pain to the elf, but not in that situation. "It was something else."
Rave glanced at her, "I like your smile." But going to her question, he spoke. "I'm thinking about how nice it is out here...and about a few other things..." He sighed. The memory of the club was in his mind. Not the one with the demon, but the one that Gambler and him were alone in. It was a nice, very nice, memory.

Gambler's eyes twinkled in slight mischief. "Oh? Your not thinking about dirty thoughts are you? That would really shock me, Rave." Nothing really shocked her. Well, almost nothing. There were many things that would catch her off guard but she has yet to know what those are.
Monty nodded slowly but still pressed, his concern nagging at him like crazy. "What was it that caused you pain?" He asked softly.

Kalore didn't speak for a long while. He was trying to figure out how to word it, how to explain what made him freak out like that. Not knowing how else to put it, he shrugged. "It was nothing, just a dream."
"Me? Never, Miss Gambler." Rave smirked, "I was thinking about the club... not the one with that pathetic demon...but the one from before. You dance well, Miss Gambler. Very well."

Gambler smiled but shrugged. "It's nothing special. You have the moves, Rave. You dance like your the inventor of it." This was nice and peaceful. She could fall asleep here with the good company of Rave. 'Yeah right....You would like more than a good company with Rave.' Her mind stated. Oh, hell not those stupid thoughts that would make anyone mad and confused. 'No bad thoughts. Behave dangerous mind, behave. Remember...NO TOUCHIE sign.'
Monty nodded. "Then, if you are fine...." He moved away from Kalore and went back to his corner in silence and not looking at the elf. Just a dream that caused a seemingly strong male to whimper. Sure.

Sighing, the man leaned back down onto the wall. cursing softly in elvish. He wanted to go back to sleep, but Kalore knew that the moment that he did, the dreams would come back. Monty saw his weakness, and there was no need for the demon to see it again. So, even though his eyes were falling shut, Kalore forced them open, forced himself to stay awake.
Rave smiled softly, "As do you..." Looking back onto the sky, his eyes widened, "Hey...make a wish." As he spoke, a shooting star streaked across the night sky, only visiable because of where they were. The lights of the city weren't obstructing the view up here, and Rave smiled as he made his wish.

Gambler looked up at the sky like Rave did and watched the shooting star. She forgot to make a wish because she was amazed by the sight of one. You would have thought that she's seen many throughout her life but in truth this was her first. "Um.....What do I wish for?" She questioned herself softly. 'Love. The deep, bonding companionship full of passion and caring love that is unbreakable even if death came for her or her love. The soul mate kind of love where no matter what, you knew what that person felt and thought. That's what I wish for.' She thought. She sighed as she rested against her chair. That sort of thing never existed. Love did but not that kind of love.
Monty crossed his arms and still frowned. He didn't blame the elf for the lack of trust because frankly it wasn't his business or his place. Why should he care anyways? Somehow he did care. He cared enough because this elf had went toe to toe with him without flinching and well not very many could do that. Since the elves were going to be part of this group he was going to have to work with them with cooperation from on his part.

Resting his eyes, Kalore almost whimpered again as the image of Rave on his mother's lap, bloody, plagued his mind. "Damn..." Eyes shot open as he almost slammed his head onto the wall. Why were the dreams bugging him now? They had left him alone for a while now, but why were they back?
I want... Rave didn't know what he wanted, "I don't know what to tell you there..." The man wasn't really someone that wished for himself that often. Wishing for freedom and death were the last things that the elf had wished for. And those weren't things that Rave needed or wanted at the moment. Love? Is that what I want? Do I really want to go through with that again though?
