Yeah, people usually love it or hate Dramione x3
Almost nobody likes Tom/Hermione, but the few fics I have found have been solid ones with great writing.
I rarely read short stories, actually...I know there are really good ones out there, but it's harder to filter out the fics that are just garbage.
Ooh, that's cool! n.n Do you have links to your old fics?

Hrm, I haven't heard "Ur So Gay". Rather, I probably have, but don't put the name and song together XD

Aw, that's sad. It's sort of an "agree to disagree" kind of thing, isn't it? I have friends that hate slash, and a couple who are obsessed. XD

Whee!
I just dug a hole in my backyard, filled it with wood and stuff and lit it on fire, and stuck a chicken (from Albertson's...not live, that'd be terrible) in the hole. x3 I hope it turns out okay. (:

I've never seen a Tom/Hermione one...but, correct me if I'm wrong, shouldn't it be Tom/Emma? It's just a little weird having an actor/character story.

Yeah, I just don't like waiting for new chapters, and I tend to get bored reading the same thing over and over with those really long chapters. It's a little weird, I never get that way with books. I could read those for hours on end and never get bored. But fanfics just have that effect on me.

Yeah, I do, but most of my stories are JB, not HP. The only HP story I have is the Remus/Hermione one, and people have told me it's a little rushed and there's no real background to it. It's only a oneshot that I kind of wrote on a whim, so it's not that great. I'm sure if I spent more time on it, it would be better. But I do have the links to my HP OCs I wrote on Quizilla if you wanted to read those. They're kind of all the same though. But here's the links: http://www.quizilla.com/user/georgeweasleysgrl4life (go to My Stuff) and http://www.fanfiction.net/~kevinsgotmegoingcrazy <--- My HP story's on there, it's called "Hermione's Other Side".

You probably have. It's a really stupid song, but it's funny and the beat is pretty good.

Yeah, it is. They only don't like me anymore because the best friend they're all friends with is super religious and says I'm gay because I write slash, and she doesn't associate with gays. And, of course, the rest of them just followed her without giving me a chance. So yeah, it's a little pathetic that they can't think for themselves. But at least I know I don't need friends like that.

Ooooh nummy! Chicken! Although I do like steak better myself...haha sorry, can you tell I'm hungry?

Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I last posted here! ^^ Months infact! biggrin

I've been having some problems in real life... I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 and PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) in January. And when I finally stated to get used to having Diabetes and all that it entails, I stopped being able to keep my bloodsugar down with the medicine.

So I was hopitilized, and they increased my medicine. However, when I took four pills a day, I got so sick I couldn't even look at food without wanting to throw up my guts... So I was hospitilized three weeks later again, and they put me on Insulin.

It's been quite hectic, so I haven't been much on gaia except once in a while to see what was going on.

Also, to everyone that's joined the house after I've left: Welcome to Ravenclaw! biggrin Though it might be a bit late to say that for some of you, who's been here for months... But better late then never, right?

On to better news; my class was so lucky to be the ONLY class in my school to NOT come up to any oral exams! biggrin In other words, I have no exams this year! Which means that my summer vacation has started!

I really missed you guys, and I think a post from me is long overdue! ^^ I really love this Guild and all the people in it. You guys are the best.

Hi Kitsune no Zetsumei!

Oh, that's terrible...I think that's a good excuse for not posting, huh? Well, I know I just got here, but I'm happy you're okay. Diabetes is a serious thing, but it can be taken care of, and I hope you do that!

Oh, there's some good news! I have uh...-counts on fingers-...6 exams to do...and I just did my first 3 today, I have 1 tomorrow and 2 Wednesday. Also I have gym makeups to do, so I can't even wake up later. It sucks...first semester, I woke up at 8 and was lazy until my exams started at 9. Now I have to be there at 7:45 to 8:30 to go makeups. Blah! At least it's just walking around the field house 15 times...and I only have 2 more to do! So that's awesome!

Sorry, I tend to ramble a little, just warning you ahead smile . It was nice meeting you!

Nice to meet you as well Kineka! biggrin

Yeah, I'm okay. I was kinda depressed right after my diagnosis. Especially since at the time, they thought it was Type 2 (Now they actually don't know), so I couldn't eat anything with much sugar. That meant no white flour, no chocolate, potatochips, ice cream and so on. Of course, my family was really supportive. My grandmother actually made a recepie on waffles and pancakes with less white flour and with no sugar! ^^

Yeah.. You guys have a tough time with your exams. The most exams we can have a year is two. One written and one oral. And we can only come up in the subjects we won't have next year... Which meant we could come up in written English, which we didn't, and in oral exams we could have either Social Studies, Science, English or Geography. smile

Only written exams we can actually come up in when we finnish with the subject is Norwegian, English, Math and our third language (French for me). And it is only one of them. smile

So in other words, it is actually possible here in Norway to finnish High School without having anything more than a mock exam. The chances of that is minimum though. razz

Yay! A fellow rambler! Let's make a ramble club or something! *Grin*

Awww, I feel for you. I was almost diagnosed with diabetes a couple years ago, but they found out that the "symptoms" were just a weight problem. But we have a strong family history of diabetes, and if I don't lose some weight, there's a chance I'll get it, and I'll REALLY have problems. So, I'm trying really hard not to eat so much...but I'm on a new birth control pill (for periods and stuff) that makes me really hungry. At least it's not cravings. I don't care what I eat as long as I do. My mom just made taco dip and I ate more than half of it, and I'm not even full. I would so love that recipe for sugarless and less-white-flour pancakes and waffles. That would be better than going to my exams tomorrow and chowing down on doughnuts, muffins, candy, and Monster (which is all they have to eat there, and even if I do eat breakfast, I'll be hungry right after my first exam).

Yeah, our exams are pretty...tough I guess. We don't have oral exams, just written ones, and, depending on your GPA, grade, and results of tests you've taken in the past, you get exemptions that you can use if you have a B or better in the class (or for people like me with a Gold Card, which means I have a 3.5 or higher GPA, the grade doesn't matter and you can exempt whatever classes you want. I only got 2 though, and I couldn't use one because I took too long deciding). So tomorrow I only have one because I exempted my 5th hour one, and the 4th and 5th hour exams are going on tomorrow. So mine are Chorus, Web Design, Geometry, Accelerated English 9, Physical Science (which I'm exempting), 20th Century US History, and Gym. Our second language isn't required, only because we already speak the most spoken language in the world. They want you to take Spanish, French, or German, but I didn't have room. I'm starting Spanish next year, and I might do French for Junior and Senior years since I need more credits but don't know what else to take.

Norwegian? Seriously? -reads more- Oh, you live in Norway, my bad sweatdrop . That's cool. America gets so boring sometimes...I'd love to live in...maybe England or India or Australia or something. Or like my friend Kiyla, live in Switzerland. She's scared to death of this whole nuclear war thing with North Korea that she's like "I'm not staying here just to die, I'm moving to Switzerland, everybody!" It's funny.

Wow, that's nice. Our Junior year we can have up to 6 or 7 exemptions because of our card (if we get a Gold Card, we have 2 exemptions), the WKCE test that we took as sophomores (if we do well, we can get up to 4 exemptions), and we automatically get 1 just for being juniors, I think. So if we have a study hall in there, we could have a semester where we don't have to take any exams at all. That'll be nice. But I have to work for that...

Yes, a fellow rambler! ^^ I think that was my worst one yet...xD.

We have a history of Diabetes as well. My father has diabetes, which made it three times more possible for me to get it. And I have PCOS which makes it even MORE easy to get Diabetes.

I'm a tad bit overweight. I was 81 kg when I was diagnosed, and due to the little food I've eaten and because the food I have eaten is quite healthy, I lost 9 kg in a few months. smile

You should change your birth controll pill. I have to take prevention pills as well due to my period. I only had my period three to four times a year due to my PCOS, and once, I almost fainted due to the period pains. I take one called Yasmin, and it is often given to people who have PCOS due to the lack of Testosterone in the pill.

You should talk to your doctor about that pill. It doesn't increase your hunger, nor make you go up in weight. Another reason why it is recommended to people with PCOS, who should keep their BMI under 28.

With the waffles, you just use less white-flour, and replace it with a more coarse type of flour... The English name of the one we use escape me at the moment, but I'll tell you as soon as I remember it. smile Also, if you don't want sugar, just add a couple extra eggs to the mix. They're really yummy!

You can always try to sate your hunger with more healthier and less carbohydrate filled food. Or slow-working carbohydrates, like the kind that is in salad, vegetable and coarse bread. Also, try eat fruits like apples. Don't eat too much bananas, grapes or kiwis as they have a lot of carbohydrates compared to other food. Strawberries you can eat almost as much as you want. A carrot for every meal is good too, especially since you want to avoid getting diabetes. The carrot juice absorbs some of the sugar, so your bloodsugar won't increase as much.

When you eat bread, don't eat too much jam, as they put a lot of sugar in jam for some reason or other. If you can, you could always buy sugarfree jam. While more expensive, it's healthier and it tastes just as good.

If you can, try to eat LESS when you eat, but eat even more often. I'm not quite sure how that will sate your hunger, but it will make you loose weight as it will make your metabolism work faster. The whole "Eat almost nothing" diets is one of the worst things you can do. While you loose weight really quickly, once you start eating properly again you'll gain weight just as fast.

I know stuff like that, since I had to be carefull with my diet for quite a while. And I've gotten some advice from my grand-uncle who also has diabetes and from the doctors. smile Hopefully I don't sound too much of a know-it-all. Just some well meant advice. Diabetes is something you DON'T want to get stuck with, believe me... While insulin shots normally doesn't hurt, it's a bit*h to constantly remember and calculate the amount, not to mention it DOES hurt when you hit a nerve.

Yeah, I REALLY don't envy you for your exams. Our written exams though are much longer than yours. One written exam is meant to be five hours of work... Though if it is Norwegian or English, I'm usually done before everyone else, because writing comes naturally to me once I've started, whether it is in English or Norwegian. Funnily enough, I have more errors on my Norwegian than my English.

We don't have a GPA like that.. We have average grade. To find our average grage, we take summerise the number of the grades together, then divide that number on the number of subjects we had. When I finished tenth grade a year ago, I had an average grade on exactly four.

However, I've heard rumors that our schooling is harder than yours... It is VERY few students that are "straight A" students in Norway. You practically have to be a genuis or REALLY hard working to achieve such an accomplishment. I've actually never heard of someone that has exited school with only 6's, which is our highest grade. 2 is passing grade, 3 is average, 4, is good, 5 is really good and 6 is almost perfect to perfect. To have a 6 on a math test, you'd have to get something like nintyfive of a hundred correct or something like that.

I promise you that I was REALLY happy when I got a 6 on my English exam last year, when I couldn't for the life of me get anything higher than a five on the tests we had in either our English classes or our Advanced English classes. razz

We have eight classes this year that everyone have to take. That's thirty school hours a week. Next year and in our third and final year, we only take fifteen hours of corse subjects a week, and we get to choose three (fifteen hours a week) other subjects. My subjects will be International English, Philosophy and History and Informationtechnology.

I want to live in England as well! At least for a while. I really want to travel through the world. My mum don't know where I have it from, but I guess I take after my uncle. razz He's been almost everywhere. He even lived for ten years in Nigeria. o.O

I haven't heard about that card thing.. That's kinda nifty! Here it is the countycommune that decides who have which exam. In tenth grade, it was the area commune. It's so top secret, that even the teachers doesn't know. They're told at the exact same time as we are. In other words, when one of the teachers read up the list in the cafeteria. razz

It's kinda unfortunate, because due to me missing so much of school because of my illness, I failed Geography which is a two hour subject. So we only have it once a week (We have up to four classes a day, each class lasting for 90 minutes).

Okay, I think this is officially the longest post I've ever made in a forum. xD

Wow, I missed alot! WB Kitsune. we sure missed you, hope you are feeling better!

Kineka, your school confuses me, I'm just glad that I'm in college because it means that my finals were in mid-may!

And yes I am a slash fan. Not as big as I used to be when I was in high school. I think being in a full-time relationship also makes it so I don't read so much slash fan fic. My fav pair is Snarry. Even though I'm reading a Harry/Draco fanfic series by Lightning on the Wave that is amazing!

I'm playing the Sims 3, my character had twin girls and they are so hard to take care of.

Wow, I think that beats me in the longest post contest smile .

What exactly is PCOS? I'm just a little confused...I understand the acronym, but not the meaning. My parents may be technicians, but I'm more of a computer geek than a medical geek.

We measure in pounds, and I'm 204 pounds, which is 94 kg, I think. I started out when I was "skinny" at 6th grade, I was 118 pounds, which is 54 kg. Then I just gained weight like all go out...it was not fun, believe me.

I'm taking the generic brand of Yasmin. I think it's because I'm underage that they won't give me the real stuff. But my mom took Yasmin when she was 20 and still had hunger problems and cravings. It depends on the person, everyone's different. But I don't want to go off it though, because my periods are just beautiful. I only get them, very lightly, for about 3 days every month. And since it's light, I don't have as bad of cramps. The only side effect I have is the moodiness, which I can get around. I love it.

Oh, okay, sounds easy enough. We never have pancake stuff though because of the carbs in all that stuff. And are you thinking of wheat flour? It's disgusting, I know. My mom made muffins with that once and the only good part was the raspberries.

Yeah, that's basically the speech my mom's giving me. I used to have a food diary where I would mark down all the calories and carbs in the food I ate. It was just to see if I needed to eat more or less of the calories or carbs. And basically my doctor told me to go vegetarian if I want to lose weight. She said to only eat red meat a couple times a month. I love fruit, but my mom never gets enough for my "needs" because it's so expensive. And she only buys the fruit that's in season, so no matter of the carb count, she buys whatever fruit's in season, she buys. I love all kinds, so basically she knows I'll eat whatever fruit she brings home. But I know bananas aren't exactly good in the carb area. But we're kind of off counting carbs because I tried that, and it didn't work, I just gained it all back.

Usually the only time I eat bread is at breakfast, and there's just a little butter (actually, margarin, but we call it butter) and some cinnamon and Splenda (sugar substitute). And it's either low carb, high fiber Italian bread or 45 calorie wheat bread. We don't have jam in the house, my mom never buys it because no one takes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to lunch anymore, so we never use it.

I can't really do that, in school I can't eat during class and I don't have enough time in between classes. I'm basically allowed to eat breakfast, lunch, and early dinner, then nothing else for the rest of the night. But since summer's coming up, I guess I can try. But my mom's all like "You can't spend your whole summer eating. Eat 3 solid meals and you'll lose weight." -rolls eyes- I've heard of this whole 5-meal thing, and I've wanted to try it, but my mom never allowed me to because she says eating more will just make me gain more. She doesn't know s**t if you ask me. And I know the anorexic thing doesn't work, I've tried it, I know firsthand.

No, that's okay. I need some advice from someone who's actually been through this. My mom's only been overweight her whole life, she's never had a medical problem with it. She thinks she knows everything about food just because she works in the medical field. It does get quite annoying when even I know she's wrong.

Ours are only an hour and we have between 2 and 3 a day for 3 days. I finish pretty quickly as well. For my past 3 exams, I finished either first or in the top 5. Some of my teachers don't believe that I can work so fast and still get such good grades.

Ours is on a point system, between 0 and 100. Some teachers use the percent system, but mostly it's points, then they convert it to percents. It's easier that way. But for our percentages, 97 to 100+ is an A+ (or "genius", which is what I have in most classes), 96 to 93 is an A (really good), 92 to 90 is an A- (pretty good), 89 to 87 I think is a B+ (above average), 86 to 83 I think is a B (more above average), 83 to 80 is a B-. Well, basically the 90s and 100s are A's (exceptional), 80s are B's (above average), 70s are C's (average), 60s are D's (below average), and 50s and lower are F's (failing). We even have negative percentages, it's really weird. I don't know what they mean, since I've never been down there.

Last semester, I had all A's. Some were A-'s, but they were A's nonetheless. This semester I would've if it weren't for my stupid gym teacher grading me unfairly.

Well, for us, getting a 95 or 100 on a test or assignment is not that uncommon. We've come to think as A's as the average grade, and anything below that is bad, although B's and C's are still okay.

I got a 109% (100% is every answer right) on my English exam last semester, only because I was stuck in regular English 9 when I should've been in Accelerated English 9 (I switched at the semester), and my teacher wanted me to make a good impression on my new teacher, so she gave me tons of extra credit that I didn't even earn. She once gave me extra credit because I did an assignment that no one else did. Not that I'm complaining, but it's a little...interesting. But now I have a bit of a lower grade, but it's still an A. Just a low A.

We don't go by hours. We have 7 hours (and a lunch that's half an hour) every day that waver between 52 and 56 minutes. We start at 7:35 and get out at 2:52, or 2:27 on early release days where we have a whole different time schedule. Our required courses are 4 years of English, 3 years of Math, 3 years of Science, 3 years of History, 1.5 years of gym, 0.5 years of health (which I'm taking next year), then the rest is all elective credits. We need, I think, 23.5 credits to graduate. Next year, I'm taking Accelerated English 10, Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry, Accelerated Biology, AP World History, Spanish 1, Gym and Health (one semester of Gym, one of Health), and my elective, which is General Drafting (it's this computer class).

Yeah, England seems so cool! I mean, after all, HP IS set there! I want to travel the world too, but maybe refrain from going to the Communist countries. I don't know if I'll be able to follow their laws when I'm there. So no China or North Korea for me.

Yeah, they use our school colors as the card colors. Our colors are maroon and gold. And if you have a 3.5 to 4.8 (which is the highest A+ you can go to), you get a Gold Card, along with a bunch of other stuff (exam exemptions, free dance tickets, etc). If you have a 3.4 to 3.0 (which is the lower end of the A's), you get a Maroon Card, and you get some of the same stuff the Gold Card people get, but it's less. Then if you have a 2.9 to 2.5 (which is the higher end of the B's), you get a White Card and they hardly get anything because they don't work as hard as the rest of us. And if you have lower than a 2.5, you don't get a card. But it's that card that tells the teacher that you can exempt whatever exams you want, or not. It depends.

Ooo, that sucks. My mom failed 2nd grade and 7th grade because she was out with the measles, mumps, and probably other stuff. She was out so much that she couldn't keep up. That would be awesome, actually. To only have 4 classes a week. I know they're longer, but it would be nice to at least get up one day and NOT have to answer to an alarm clock. We have 7 classes each day, all about an hour long, and we go to school from Monday through Friday, unless it's a holiday or something else like that. I think it would be nice to have a little more time, then the teacher might run out of things to talk about and we'll have more time to do the assignment. Less homework! biggrin .

Wow...dang, that was long...xD.

Oooo, another teacher/student fan! I haven't found many, so I'm glad you're here! But I think my absolute favorite slash is Sirius/Remus. I don't know the name, hehe sweatdrop . I love non-slash pairings too. I LOVE Tonks/Remus, also Tonks/Sirius. Oh and Harry/Luna is adorable! I think he should be with her instead of Ginny. My opinion only though. But she's with Neville, and that's adorable as well.

Thanks Paraphernalia! Glad to know I've been missed! How have you been? And yes, I've been feeling much better since I started on insulin. smile I don't feel as exhausted and tired, and my focus is much better now, nor do I feel like I'm gonna puke any second.

Having constant high bloodsugar sucks, lemme tell you that! xP And I've only had hypoglycemia three times since I started using insulin.

Sorry that it took me a while to answer Kineka. razz Me and a friend went on a walk with my puppy, Tayco.

Hehe.. I THINK this one might beat it again. Maybe. We'll see.

PCOS is when you have cysts on your ovaries and the symptoms of that. Symptoms of PCOS is rare and irregular periods, severe period pains, acnes on your body, purple spots inbetween your upper tighs, extended hair growth on your body, often following a "male" pattern, increased testosterone levels in your blood, difficulties of loosing weight, difficulties in getting pregnant and so on.

Another problem with the PCOS is that it is a disease that leads up to other diseases if you're not careful, like high bloodpressure and diabetes among other things.

I know of someone who can't ever carry children of her own, because the cysts on her ovaries were so big, that it kind of ruined her womb... Also know of a woman that has a HUGE amount of hair on her back. Believe me, you've probably never seen a man with such a large amount of hair growth on his back...

Metamorfin and the Yasmin prevention pills is a very good treatment for PCOS. The Yasmin hides the symptom and gives you regular periods again. It hides the symptoms because it has no male hormones, but quite a huge amount of the female hormone.

The metamorfin (The diabetes medicine I was on that made me ill) actually helps on the ovaries, and removes the symptoms. It actually helps on the disease, even though it can't cure you of it. I still take two pills of metamorfin a day to help on my PCOS.

Unfortunately, there's no known cure for the ailment. There are some who take an operation to get rid of the cysts, but there is no guarantee that you won't get it back.

I was average when I was a kid. Not too skinny nor near overweight... However when I was about ten - eleven years old, I started getting the symptoms for PCOS. So my guess is that I've had this condition since I was ten years old... And I'm almost seventeen years old. So I've gone with this illness untreated for probably over six years because I was too embarassed to tell my mother about the symtomps.

I seriously felt like a complete freak of nature back then.

I started going up in weight back then, not due to over-eating or lack of physical activities (Though I prefer quite calm activities, like a walk or a nice swim.) but because of my illness.

It is quite annoying when something happens like weight gain of the like and you can't do anything about it.... So yes, I know how that must feel...

I'm taking the real stuff and I'm still underage. But then, it is normal to subscribe Yasmin to people with PCOS. Not quite sure how the prevention pills subscription functions in America and whether there are any restrictions on which kind of medicine can be given to those who are underage...

Yeah, it is different to person to person. I had severe stomach cramps the first month I went on Yasmin, and the period after I started was hell. And it is REALLY good that your periods are like that! At least that's one less thing for you to worry about!

I'm so lucky that I've never had moodswings when I had my period. Not once in the almost nine years that I've had it! biggrin

Yeah, wheat flour.. That's white flour. Try using something more coarse. Let's see... Oats flour is good. Try replacing some of the wheat flour in waffles and even in the pizza bottom with oats flour! It makes a REALLY yummy pizza. I actually think it is better than when it is only wheat.

Eat chicken. Chicken doesn't have much carbs at all, so that is the ideal meat. Next time you make pizza or something of the like, or spaggethi with minced meat, use chicken meat. Really yummy. And we NEED meat. There are important vitamins to find in the meat. I've talked to some nautrition specialists, and none of them have denied me meat.

Here in Norway, we actually eat bread for every meal except dinner. So it is a LOT of bread-eating going on here. razz You should get completely coarse crisp bread too. That is really good with white cheese or strawberry jam. I'd suggest brown cheese, but that has loads of carbs and sugar, and I doubt you'd get that in the US anyways.

For goodness sake, don't count the carbs! That'll drive you nuts and way too obsessive! I mean, you are actually supposed to live and enjoy yourself! Can't do that if you eventually feel guilty for eating some pie or chocolate once in a while

There's several little tricks to things that you can learn. If you eat something with a lot of sugar, like chocolate, cake, pies and so on, eat a carrot as well! Or some salad. Really effective.

Also, make sure that things like muffins, cake, chocolate, potatochip belongs to that one special day in the week. Once a week! The rest of the time, eat healthy GOOD food! Don't force yourself to sit down and gnaw at a salad leaf everytime you feel hungry.

Wheat isn't good if you want to go down in weight. When I didn't have my insulin shots, I could hardly ever eat wheat, without my bloodsugar going skyhigh. So I asked my godmother who is a nurse why. She told me that your body turns the wheat flour into sugar. Thereby, you could just as well eat a chocolate as a fine french baguette.

You have about a five minutes between classes if I'm correct, yes? Then you have time to eat in the hallway. Start this summer, and tell your mum that it is actually been proven that people LOOSE weight by eating little and often, due to their metabolism increasing, due to the steady income of "fuel".

I have to eat four to six times a day. The diet for a diabetic is actually what is recommended for your everyday people. Eat often, but small portions, less sugar, salt, and wheat flour, more vegetables and so on.

Your mum says that by you eating more would make you gain weight, and that is true. However, you WON'T be eating more. You'll be eating just the same amount of food, if not even less than you are doing now. Your meals will just be smaller but they'll occur more often.

Yeah. Some people manage to do that. My mother is a bit overweight as well, but she has no medical problems with it either. Lucky bastards of some parents we have, don't you agree? smile

Just because she works in the medical field, doesn't mean she knows everything... Unless she's not been educated in nutrition, that is.

Ah, we don't have four classes a week! I wish though. We have up to four classes a day. We start school at 08:30 and end at 13:30 on our shortest days, and end 15:20 at our longest days. We have more long days than short days unfortunately. And for example on Monday, we have a free period between second period and English. So our schedual would be:

1st hour: French
2nd hour: French
3rd hour: Gym
4th hour: Gym
5th hour: Free
6th hour: Free
7th hour: English
8th hour: English

Understand? But on for example Friday, we have free in the last two hours, so we go home. On Wednesday, we have free the first two hours, so then we don't arrive at school till 10:05.

I know that there was someone here who had avarage grades... Almost constant 3's. When she moved to America, she had constant A's. It is much harder here to get a higher grade it seems. It is kinda stupid. I know one guy who has an average grade of 5.7, and that is considered.... Well, insane to say the least. There's NO school in Norway that won't accept him with that kind of grades.

In Denmark, they have up to 13. It is almost impossible to get a 13... So straight 13's in Denmark is actually impossible. So it'd be hard for a Danish person to exchange to the USA, because they'd think that they don't have straight A's, when in reality, they have above straight A's.... It is kind of a sick system, to be honest. razz Wish they had a Universial grade system. And then I'd prefer the American or the British one, because it'd be easier to get an acceptible grade.

As I said earlier, I've never met a single Norwegian person with straight 6. Such a person would have to be genius...

When we start High school, we get to choose between two main groups of education programs. Either a General studies program with three choices of education programs or a Vocational program, with nine different education programs. I chose a program within General Studies called "Specialization in General studies".

In my education program, we need all together 3 hours of Religion and Ethics, 14 hours of Norwegian, at the very least 8 hours of Math, 5 hours of Science, 5 hours of English, 8 hours of a third language, 3 hours of Social Studies, 2 hours of Geography, 6 hours of History, 6 hours of Gym and 30 hours of elective subjects, which is three ten hour long subjects. All this is divided on three years.

So thereby, have 30 hours of lessons each week for three years.

I know! I've been in London once. It was amazing! And I really want to visit Greece again, and take the White Busses to Poland and Germany again. Lemme tell you, visiting those concentration camps was.... Amazingly depressive. It was our school trip. Kinda amazing that 18 studens in ninth grade brought in over 15 500 dollars in less than a year! We were really proud!

That's awesome! We don't have any school colours here. razz If we had school colours, it'd be blue and brown! That's the colour of the school buildning. Is it only me that finds that slightly ironic?

We have no chance of exempting an exam if we're pulled up. Nothing less then being hospitilized will allow you to miss that exam without some sort of rubbish haunting you later...

...You can actually FAIL 2nd and 7th grade over there? o.O I don't think we can fail a grade untill we reach tenth grade.... razz Ah.. It's kinda nifty here, because homework at High School is more of a... direction then telling you to do it. You only have to do the things you have to either perform or deliever in to the teacher. Other than that, the teacher won't know whether you did the homework or not. They don't ask, nor check.

Also awesome that if you're sick, you just send a text to the teacher, saying you're sick, then that is taken care of.

Wow, this thing was long. Took ages to write. Wouldn't it be REALLY frustrating if this thing deleted itself just as I'm about to push the submit button?

...I'd kill something.

Oh sweetie, I think that one beat it smile . Definitely.

Oh, that's okay, I was watching The Newlywed Game. Haha so funny. Then my mom yelled at me for wanting to watch TV in the living room, and as my "punishment", she made me help her make taco salad. So weird...awww cute name!

Oh, okay, I understand. Ya know, with all these new-fangled diseases that are being diagnosed for the ovaries or anything that lets you have babies, I'm just thinking we should just get them removed once we have our kids. Way too much hassle to deal with!

Ahh, I gotcha. I'm kind of surprised I've never heard of this before...well, you're talking to the one who thought ADD is just a fancy acronym for depression. Whew...man, I'm such an idiot sometimes. Haha, just thought I'd let you know.

Ooo, that sucks. I mean, I can't say I want to have kids now, but I know someday I'll want to. That must be terrible to know that you can NEVER have kids. Urgh...hairy back...-shivers-. No offense or anything...

Oh okay, I can see why you're on it then. But wouldn't your doctor take you off the Metamorfin if it's making you sick? Just wondering, maybe I'm wrong, who knows?

Yeah, that sounds like something they should try to find a cure for. I mean, think about it, if everyone were to get it somehow, then no one would be able to have babies anymore. It's just like that whole "if everyone were gay" thing. There would be no more babies, then the human race would be extinct.

Aww, poor thing. Well, I'm guessing that's why you've had problems with it. Because you never told your mom when you started getting symptoms. See, I'm the person that would tell my mom right away if something like that happened. I'm not really embarrassed around her. But, yeah, that would explain your problems with it.

Yeah, that's the same thing that happened with me when I started the pill. Before, I was gaining weight because of the junk I was eating and the exercise I wasn't doing. But after I went on this whole diet thing, I've been eating better and exercising more, but I still gained weight. That was more because of the pill, not an illness, although I thought it was diabetes at first. I was tested and it's all good. But that's around the time I tried anorexia. I stopped after the tests came back though. And I prefer calm activities too. I'll go for a 10 hour walk through a huge forrest if I could. But, of course, I don't have 10 hours of free time. Drat.

I don't know what it's about...my doctor said she was putting me on Yasmin, but then she gave me something else, and my mom's just like "It's the generic brand, it'll still work." But I know when I was 10 and having cramps, my pediatrition refused to let me use Ibeprofen because I wasn't 12 yet, although I was the size of a 12 year old. My mom sent me to a Family Practice doctor, and they said "Just give her the pills!" So, maybe it is different in Norway, I don't know.

Yeah, my cramps used to be absolutely HORRIBLE. I was to the point where I could barely walk to the office to get some painkillers. Also my flow was just bad...I had to change my pajamas up to 3 times at night because it would leak through. But as soon as I went on the pill, the periods were amazing. The only bad side effect was the weight gain, but it was mostly water weight. And my doctor refused to tell me that the pill was the cause of most of my weight gain. She's just like "It doesn't cause THAT much weight gain." And I'm like "Well, I haven't changed my eating or exercising habits, and it's never been this bad before." She was just trying to encourage healthy eating habits by telling me it was my fault I was gaining weight, not the pill's fault. Same with my mom, she tells me to my face that I'm fat and need to lose weight.

Oh, I had horrible mood swings. I felt like I wanted to commit suicide that whole week. And it wasn't even just a part of the week, this was the WHOLE WEEK. Even sometimes after the week. It was to the point where I was almost hard to live with. My friends all thought I was expecting pity from them, but it was really my stupid moodiness that I could do nothing about.

I've never heard of oats flour. Only white and wheat. But we have wheat bread all the time instead of white bread. Apparently it's healthier because it's low carb, low cal, and high fiber.

Yeah, I've heard that chicken, fish, and turkey are the healthiest meats for you because there's hardly any fat or grease (unless it's deep-fried or something). I know we need the protein and everything in meats...but I'm a meat freak...I know, it's bad...

We eat bread too, but it depends on the family. Hm...I've never heard of brown cheese...and I live in Wisconsin (aka Cheese World in the US). But the only bread I really eat is at breakfast, and it's only 2 slices with 45 calories in each slice, and fiber.

Yeah, counting carbs drove me crazy...I was trying to tell my mom that it was way too much for me to do, but she was like "If you wanna stop looking like you do, you better take some time to count the damn carbs."

Yeah, that's what I've always thought of doing. Like, you eat something bad, eat something good to make up for it. I've done that a lot, actually. If we have candy in the house or something, I'd have some, then have a salad later. So yeah, I know of that one smile .

Yeah, usually it's not too bad...except the school lunches. But I basically have no choice because all the stuff at home isn't...lunchable. It all has to be microwaved or it's frozen or something. We have sandwich stuff, but I don't like homemade sandwiches. Sorry, I'm a sub freak smile . But usually I chew gum when I'm hungry and I know it's not time to eat yet. Or if I have an early dinner and I'm hungry later, I'll chew gum until I go to bed, then I'm good until breakfast the next morning. It works, trust me.

Hm...no wonder. My mom just says that all of that will just turn into wastes and your body will get rid of it. Apparently not...

Yes, but next year we only have 4. And I've tried eating in between classes, but eating and walking with 2 tons of books in your arms is kind of hard. Also, most of my classes don't allow food, so I'd have to finish it before I get there. It's just another thing for me to worry about, along with getting to class on time, making sure I have the homework done, AND making sure I have everything for that class and I don't forget anything. I don't think I have time to squeeze in eating. And believe me honey, if I tell my mom that some person online told me to eat more often, she'd laugh in my face and tell me not to believe them. She doesn't trust online people and she hates that I'm even on Gaia. But she's letting it slide because she knows I'm a smart person and won't get into trouble or anything.

Yeah, I've heard that 5 meals a day is supposed to be perfect, but small meals, just so you're balancing your food and it won't make you as uncomfortable.

Yeah, I've been trying to reason that with her. But her logic is that if I eat more MEALS a day, then it's FULL meals, not just small ones. She thinks I'll be eating like, a steak and baked potato everytime I have one of these extra meals. I'm trying to convince her that's it's just a little one, but she won't get it. She makes me so mad sometimes...

Yeah. My mom DID suffer from morbid obesity in her teenage years. But she had her stomach stapled, and now she's to a better weight. Not healthy, but better than she was before. But morbid obesity isn't really a disease, it's just a health problem. But yeah, I totally agree with that one...

She's not educated in nutrition. She didn't even finish college. She wasn't even supposed to go into the medical field! She was supposed to go into psycology, for Pete's sake! I don't get how she got from psycology to medical, but we won't go there...

OH! Sorry, my bad...our schedule is the same every day. It would go like...

1st hour: Chorus
2nd hour: Web Design
3rd hour: Geometry
4th hour: Accelerated English 9
--Lunch--
5th hour: Physical Science
6th hour: 20th Century US History
7th hour: Gym

It never changes, only at the semester when some of our classes get flipped around. And we have no free periods, unless we're seniors and we have all our credits. And we can only get out early if we have a work permit, which means we'll go to work when we get out. But on Wednesdays, we get out about a half hour earlier than normal days because the teachers have a meeting after school. So all the classes are shortened, and are more like 45 minutes instead of an hour.

But yes, I understand yours.

Yeah, I would think it's a little harder there to get a higher grade. Is it just because their grading system's different or what? Because I know at my grade school, 100 was an A, not an A+. Our high school makes it a little easier for us to get good grades, although we're doing the same amount of work. Maybe that's what it's like for you guys, except the other way around.

Why wouldn't they accept him? 5.7 sounds pretty good to me, in your grading scale anyway.

Yeah, very sick system, I can tell. Yeah, that would solve all the confusion if they just had the same one for every school in the world. But I like our grading system, it's pretty easy to understand.

Well, I'm guessing 6's are like A's? So if I would go there, I would probably have straight 6's. But like I said before, it would just be because your system is different, and I'm still doing the same amount of work.

We don't have any of that program stuff. Our school just gives us the freedom to pick our own, along with the required courses. But if the person doesn't want to pick their own, the school picks their classes for them. They believe that if you WANT to do well, they'll help you. If not, then tough noodles for you.

Oh, I'm sooo glad I'm in a public school now and I don't need religion anymore. That was very tedious last year, when we had Confirmation and everything...they were working us to the bone. Worst year of my life. But that sounds pretty much the same as ours when we do the math. Except we have 4 years instead of 3. Oh, I would LOVE to finish high school in 3 years. My grandma did, but she skipped a grade. That doesn't happen anymore...dang.

I kind of want to visit a Concentration Camp actually...they seem really interesting. I loved learning about the Holocaust in history class. It was always my favorite history subject, just because it's really intriguing.

Oh, that sucks...you need some school colors! It'll brighten up the building! But ours are really ugly together...red and yellow, basically...our whole cafeteria is painted red and yellow...it's disgusting.

Well, they believe that if you've done well in the course, or just in school in general, that you should be able to have a reward. And their version of a reward is letting you exempt whatever exam you want or can. For me, I can exempt any that I want, but I only chose to exempt one. They're okay with that. It's more of a reward thing for a job well done.

Well, she only failed because she was sick a lot and couldn't keep up with the work. Believe me, she wasn't the one that gave me the straight A's. She was a straight C student. Yeah, some of our teachers don't check either. My Geo teacher would just check to see if we did it and gave us full credit automatically, even if it was all wrong. -shakes head- And she wonders why some people are failing the tests...

We just have to call the office, and if we don't have a good enough excuse, they say that you should send your kid to school anyway. And as for homework when you're sick, you just get an extra day or two for however many days you were sick to finish it, which I think is pretty fair.

I think mine just beat yours...but I also had a mom lecture in there, so it took me probably even longer. And now I have to shower before my mom goes too crazy...

Oh and that happened to me a couple times, I submitted the reply and it was really long, but then this stupid thing came up saying that I had a virus, when I really didn't, and when I said continue unprotected, it deleted EVERYTHING! I wanted to punch my computer...XP. What ya do is copy it. Then if it deletes it, you can just paste it back in. That just happened to me, Gaia signed me out because I was taking too long. Good thing I copied that big long message...-whew-

Seems like we keep beating the records. Don't know if that is a good or a bad thing. Or anything at all, really.

The Newlywed Game? Haven't heard of it.... And you're not allowed to watch TV in the livingroom? As long as no one uses it, I'm free to use it whenever I want to. However, I have a TV and a decoder downstairs in my basement livingroom. That and my PS3, PS2 and my friends Wii that I've borrowed. I'm a gaming nerd.

Yeah, he is cute too. He's a mix between a Japanese spitz and a Mittel spitz. Cute little thing. He looks kinda like a dot of cotton. We've got two cats too! A black and white one named Zorro, and a brown, white and black Norwegian forest cat named Emma. And eight aquariums....

Ah, it doesn't make one completely infertile. It's just harder to become pregnant and it's easier to loose the baby. However the metamorfin is supposed to help with that, among other things. I don't know how bad my own cysts are, since I haven't taken an internal ultra-sound test yet. I don't particulary feel like having something stuck up there quite yet to be honest...

If PCOS always caused infertility, the human race would have a problem, seeing as much as 20% of the worlds women suffer from PCOS, knowingly or not. So it isn't exactly rare.

Really? That's kinda brilliantly funny! Seriously... ADD a fancy acronym for depression. Have to remember that one!

Thankfully I have avoided the whole hairy back thing... The severity of the symptomps vary from person to person. Some people hardly have any symptoms at all, the lucky bastards. I'm not that hard attacked, but I got it pretty bad. Thankfully the pills have already started to work their magic quite a bit.

The metamorfin didn't make me sick untill I was taking four pills everyday. Now I'm only taking two. One before breakfast and one before dinner.

They should! It is annoying and frustrating. Not to mention that it cause several other diseases as a cause of the PCOS. Oh, and not to mention if a person don't get their periods fixed, it can lead to cancer... Not pleasant. Thankfully my periods are regular now, and actually occors every month, unlike the random, months-in-between periods I used to have.

Me and my mum weren't close when I was little. We weren't affectionate at all. I didn't even sit on my mothers lap when I was three - four years old! We're much closer now these last few years then we ever in the past. So it was hard for me to talk to my mother about anything, really.

I'm glad I haven't started gaining weight because of the prevention pills. I'd be frustrated like hell...

That's really good! The whole eating better and exercising thing that is. Even though you're not loosing weight, your body is most likely more healthy than it's ever been. And you don't gain weight when you have diabetes.... You loose weight. That was how my father found out he had diabetes. He started losing a whole lot of weight at a fast pace, without having changed his eating habits or started exercising more.

I know what you mean about the long walk in the forest... If only there were a forest here that WASN'T up a mountain.... The islands around here are basically just mountains. Including the one I'm living on.

Ah... There's nothing that beats a nice walk while listening to music... Except maybe a cardrive and listening to music. Both a favorite of mine of things-to-do.

A guy I've been speaking to on MSN from the US visited Norway for several months. I didn't meet him, but he told me that when he got home, all the food in the US nauseated him because it was so greasy and fattening and all that compared to the food here. To be honest, I'd never eat a burger or any junk food in the US.

That has to be some of the most unhealthy food you can get your hands on... I really don't like greasy food anyway. Personally I think it is disgusting. But that is my own opinion...

Well, ten years old is a bit young I guess. I was only eight years old when I had my first period. Really embarassing to have a few months before you start fourth grade, believe me.

...You get painkillers at school? Lucky. At my school, they didn't give us painkillers no matter what the reason. I think they've had a... situation of some kind once. I don't know.

Thankfully my periods weren't that bad... But the pain was. Worst was as I mentioned the time right after I started the pills... I couldn't even get out of bed to get painkillers, or shout for my mum or Kurt to bring some down. I was sweating, panting, and very close to fainting. So I understand the.... pleasantaries of extreme period pains.

Only positive about the whole period pains is maybe a day off from school or two, and at least an excuse not to have Gym. razz

That's kinda horrible. They should believe you without question, unless they have proof otherwise. I mean, your mum can actually see that your eating habbits is much better! Kinda funny too that she won't even let you improve your heating habbits yet she tells you to lose weight?

Weird.

And you should never tell a person who is overweight that they're fat. I mean, no one is as aware of their own weight and size as the person themselves.

That is some powerfull moodswings... My friend is moody in her periods, so she can start ranting or get snappy, but nothing that bad. Thankfully. She's rude enough as it is.

....Why would your friends think you wanted them to pity you? People are weird and unlogical I guess... Because you being moody doesn't seem like a scream for pity if you ask me.

Only white and wheat, huh? Here in Norway, that is the same. razz Of course, I read up on it, and they have fine and dark wheat. Maybe it is the dark one you're having? Believe that is.. err... Here we call dark wheat for "Sammalt hvete". Because white bread is made of fine wheat. The oats flour is the best flour a Diabetic can eat, so I guess it is a good flour to eat if you want to avoid diabetes as well.

Just wiki it or google it. Basically my answer to everything I can't or is too lazy to answer.

Wish they had that bread we've started buying... It is supposedly one of the healthiest breads you can get. No idea what it is made of though. And not counting my grandma's home made bread, it is without a doubt the best bread I've tasted.

I love meat too. But chicken is just as good. Especially chicken fillé with rice and sweetchilli sauce. Yuuum.
And meat isn't bad for you! However, you should have chicken once a week and fish once a week. At the very least!

And that is coming from someone who doesn't even like fish. I still eat it... Just not that much...

Yeah. No one in the US has. Guess you'd have to go to a place with Americans that's REALLY proud of their Norwegian heritage or something.... Brown cheese is typical Norwegian. It's almost like you can't say you're Norwegian if you haven't tasted brown cheese... I know that some hotels in Norway puts brown cheese on your pillow... So that you can taste it.

Weird, I know.

Browncheese isn't REALLY a cheese. It's made from the liquid remains after you've made white cheese. It has some similarities in taste like caramell and chocolate. It is sometimes called "Goatcheese" but that's wrong too.

I wiki'ed that information.

I have no idea how much calories is in my bred, or how much carbs, but I don't really care either. razz But you should also try crisped bread as I doubt there's hardly any carbs or calories in that... Very yummy too, as I mentioned. x3

Here in Norway we almost never count carbs. And still there's hardly any really overweight people here. I only know of one person my age with severe obesity... And she has all kinds of problems. Poor girls is bothered with almost everything there is to be bothered with.

It's kinda annoying to be even about 70 kg here. Because a lot of people in my school looks like they came straight out of a magazine or something. Thin and with pretty faces. Kinda scary to see all the plastic dolls running around, except they don't have any plastic. Just a lot of make-up.

That is good! biggrin Another way to sate your hunger at times is to buy minicarrots. Healthy, low cal and carbs and snacks at the same time. Yummy.

I think I've used the word yum and yummy way too much....

Thankfully I'm allowed to eat whenever I wanna at school due to my diabetes. So I don't have that problem.

That's why you should get crispy bread. They're small, so you've eaten it in two minutes. Heck, you could always bring a carrot! It's just so you get some food in your stomach. Two carrots a day at school and your lunch. I think your stomach would be one happy stomach!

The thing with metabolism is that if you don't have regular meals, your body thinks that it might not get food for a while, so it saves a lot of it into fat on your body. Which is frustrating. Wouldn't everything be so much easier if our stomachs could talk?

Yum. Gum. Hope it is sugarfree gum you're chewing miss! I love Extra and Stimerol. Both sugarless. Never been one for sugar gum ever since I was little. xD

We have ten to fifteen minutes between every classes. Lunch lasts for half an hour and takes place between 2nd and third period, in other words between the 4th and the 5th class. We're so lucky that the teachers aren't assigned classrooms. Except some, such as Science, Geography and Gym. Science is in two different classrooms, Geography is one and Gym in the Gym hall of course.

And then there's Practical Math and French that's in another class. But the people having Theoretical math use our classroom and the Spanish group is on our classroom. English, Norwegian and Social Studies take place in our classroom.

My mother was a bit sceptic about online stuff when I first started. Now she doesn't mind what I do at my laptops. She trusts that I'm old enough not to do something really stupid.

Your mother seems like a stubborn woman, am I correct? And baked potatoes is something you should keep away from. Potatoes, especially when they're baked, contains a lot of starch. And that is not healthy for you. We actually have a special kind of pots that removes the starch from the potatoes. Though it's been a while since we've used it.

But baked potatoes isn't something you should have as a dinner even once a week. You have to eat your potatoes, but keep to the cooked ones, and not too many.

I've had that rant about potatoes enough times to know it by heart.

What the hell would your mother have you do if you did end up with diabetes? o.O You'd HAVE to eat four to six meals a day...

Was there any reason she was so large? Or was it just an unfair mix of genetics and a lack of exercise and over-eating?

I'm one of those people who believe you can't become unhealthly massive by just bad eating habbits and exercise. My proof is my friend who exercise less than me, and eat more candy than I can stomach and doesn't eat much healthy food nor does she even like salad... And she's skinny as a stick.

Genetics, that's what it is. razz

How could she get into the medical field with no college?! O.o Here if you want to work within the medical field, it takes an education at the higher level. If you want to work within psychology, you have to take seven years of higher studies. Three years of High School and four years of University I believe. Which means you'll have a Master degree.

Lucky. Ours change every day. And our Tuesdays and Wednesday change whether it is an odd number week or an even one...

A school hour here is 45 minutes exactly. So a period lasts for 90 minutes.

I have no idea why it is harder for us to get the best grade. It demands a lot of us to have a 6. For example in English, even though your language may be worthy of a 6, if you didn't write exactly within the assignment, you might end up failing. I ended up getting a 3 on my mock exam, because I wrote in such a way that the teacher had to read between the lines to understand it completely... The teacher told me that my language was with no doubt worth a 6 though.

I guess we just have our priorities all messed up at times. But then again, who doesn't?

It isn't pretty good. It is so that people wanna steal his grades and glare at him in envy, swearing of the unfairness of it all. Remember, here in Norway, three is Average. Meaning that if you look at the average grade in the schools, it is 3.something.

VERY few schools have an average of 4 and above. NONE have an average of 5. To have an average grade of 5 here in Norway, is an amazing accomplisment. And if you compare the grades, that'd be your B or something.

You might not get a 6 despite doing the same amount of work here... In English you'd definitely get straight 6's though. In Math.. Guess that depends on how good you are at it, and whether you choose Practical math or Theoretical math. Don't believe it is possible to keep straight 6's in Theoretical math, unless you're a mathematic genuis.

Where it is a competition to get into a University, it is normally an average grade of 3.something up to 4.something. The hardest I know of was 5.2 I believe.

Ah, lucky! But I kinda like the way it is set up here. If you take a general studies program, it is three years and then you can start at a University. If you take the other one, you have two years of High school, then you become an apprentice within your chosen field of work for two years and after that, you're intergrated into the working society so to say.

So when you start High school here, you kinda have to choose in which field you want to work on, and in your second year, you have to choose what you want to become in more details... Since then you have even more choises to choose from which decides the subjects of second year, and for us, third year as well.

It isn't possible to skip grades here. Though people two years older than me have, but that was because they started school when they were 6 - 7 years old, then a reform came that decided that kids should start school at 5 - 6 years old. So the whole bunch had to skip a grade.

There's hardly any private schools in Norway. Probably less private schools than private hospitals. And that says something... I haven't even heard of a private school, but I know that there exist a few, even though I don't know the names or locations.

Hehe.. Maybe there's a secret Wizarding community hiding around here! Worst of all is that it would be easy, since very little of Norway is inhabited.

It was. We've visited four. Auschwitz and Auschwitz Birkenau in Poland, Ravensbrük and Sachsenhausen in Germany. Our guide was a very experienced guide as well. She'd been in the buisness for almost fourty years! And we had an awesome bussdrive named Leo!

Hehe... It was in ninth grade that we worked on Holocaust. However, we only had History for the last part of the year. So, when everyone else started with History... I had kinda finished the entire book. I received only 6's in that subject that year! I was a happy woman.

...Gryffindors the entire bunch, eh? xP But as I said, our buildning is blue and brown. And the corridors are also blue. The cafeteria is wood coloured. Kinda awesome that the cafeteria ladies is friends of my grandmother, so I've known them my whole life! At the last day the cafeteria was opened, I got free food and milk! biggrin

That's unfair. I want a reward too! For being one of two girls in first year who DOESN'T wear make-up! Yeah, me and Astrid should be rewarded for that.

s'not like there's much else to be rewarded about. Due to me not being able to concentrate because of constant high bloodsugar and the whole being gone from school for a while, my grades aren't favorable. I'm considering taking up several of the subjects as a privatist, and have the grades replaced.

...Maybe you inherited your fathers brains? Wish my Geo teacher was like that. Then I wouldn't have to take it up next year. Seems like our teachers are a bit more strict in that area than yours. They're harsh graders these people.

Random question; what do you call your teachers?

I THINK this one beat yours again, but I'm not quite sure. razz

I know! It's enough to make you wanna hit something. Pity the computer is always the closest thing, isn't it? Poor computer.

Damn. I stood up at eight am to answer. o3o I should just go back to bed nows. 's not like you'll be on for hours. Bet it's in the middle of the night over there. Freaky timezones...
