Three weeks later. . . .
Feel returned to town. Leon was gone, but Feel was still a bit gloomy. He had the kind of feeling that people get after funerals.
Back in the repaired Sha home, Dolores resumed her tutoring to a recovered Keiryu. Of course, blowing up a few sapphires while at it. Today's crash topic: Jewel Sorcery.
Hoseki was being tutored by both Aoi and Caster. She seemed to be catching up quite quickly. Hell, she might have a natural knack for sorcery.
The theraquards were curled up, still fast asleep outside.
Taima was snoozing outside on the roof.

Gojyo was of couse gloomy, just like any kid would be when losing a parent. His gift was still encased in the closet, he didn't have the heart to look, his chest aching from all his sadness.

"Okay. . . I think you get the final exam today." Dolores stated.
"Eh?" He blinked, "Today? You mean the written part right?"
"Yeah. . And then three days later it's the actual examination. I guess you could face off against Aoi over there." Dolores thumbed at the Angra Maiyu.
"What? Me?" She shook her head, "I can't do that! I'm not qualified for the evaluation."
"What rank are you?"
"Second class magician." She sweatdropped with a nervous smile.
Dolores was in panic, "No. . . . You're not a warlock?! How the hell do we find a warlock or above for the examination?" Dolores set her forehead onto the table. "At short notice?"
"Can't I just skip that part?" Keiryu asked.
"No because if you skip it, you're going to be declared as a half-assed magician. That and it's illegal to do so. Kinda like driving around without a driver's permit. Worst case scenerio for you is that you'll get killed off early during the damn Holy Grail war." Dolores explained. "And you don't have even half of the paperwork done to get out of it. Tough luck for you."
"s**t."
Demeter yawned. She was waking up but then Hakuryu was sleeping in a curled up ball. And when you yawn, you suck in air. Hakuryu was accidentally sucked into Demeter by her yawn. " !! "
The Tibetian theraquad started to thrash and what not. Basically doing what a choking dragon would do. Of course this thrashing woke up the other two theraquads and sent them into panic.

Kartia ran outside, "What the?! Oh Gosh!" She panicked, it was a good thing that when she got there she took lessons from a good friend! She ran over to Demeter and started to unchoke her. It was almost instant that she reacted, had she delayed, Hakuryu and Demeter would die!

Keiryu didn't hear Demeter until she actually knocked something over. He barreled out to the yard and helped his sister unchoke Demeter. "What the hell happened?"
Demeter wasn't able to breathe, she was turning colors. Why, oh why did the little one sleep in front of her?

"I think she's choaking on Hakuryu!" Kartia said panicked. "Thank god Hakkai is in town!"

"Yeah." He put his hand inside Demeter's mouth, and pulled on what he thought was Hakuryu's tail. "I think I got him. . . OW!" Yeah, he got bitten in the shoulder. "Keep your mouth open, Demeter!"
He started to pull Hakuryu out.

Hakuryu was dizzy and completely covered in saliva. Poor thing was paranoid too.
"That was way too close" Kartia said with a sigh.

Demeter was just on the ground. She was trying to breathe normally and yes, she was paranoid as hell.
Keiryu nodded. "Didn't think he would be a choking hazard."

She smiled and pat her brother on the head. She was glad to have a little brother, "So, how are you studies goin'?" she asked.

Elsewhere, Konzen was sitting quietly and meditating. He appeared to certainly be lost to the others, he hadn't been able to focus because of all of the death and turmoil that had been going on. He was still thinking of Goku. He'd been gone for sometime now. He was worried.

Seiten was sleeping soundly as if his body was still healing from the spiritual battle was over. He twitched and his eyes cracked open, the light hurting his eyes. Sheilding his golden eyes did he look up again. He appeared to be to be so distant that even he didn't remember where he was. He was so dizzy that nothing was registering.
