Boo. I haven't gotten any presents yet, either.
RE: The Sheep RP (as it's now commonly known, even though you don't have to RP a sheep). What we've got is a world where dead people go. Like, a neutral version of Heaven or Hell. The dead people remain there, existing, as long as someone who's still alive remembers them. They are sustained by that memory, and once their memory is gone, so are they. They simply cease to exist (or so most people believe, but nobody really knows since nobody's come back. It's like dying. Again).
All is well and good until this shepard guy tears a rift between the worlds with his struggle against death. Sheep wander into the newly formed hole just before it closes. So now we have live sheep (whos memories can sustain someone) in a world of dead things. The sheep remember the sheperd, spend time with him, and he lives on, never fading because he is in the minds of the living.
So he hands out sheep to those deserving of immortality (the living don't age correctly in the land of the dead and so exist forever under normal circumstances), but lots of people think they themselves deserve a lambchop. They form a militia and ever since, a mini war has been going on over these quadrapeds and their descendants. There's, oh, about forty of them (due to breeding/death through various unnatural circumstances). For several billion people. Yeah.
So.. that's the general setting. Hurrah. Now that I look at it, it is sorta hard to paraphrase. And yes, you do play a dead person. >_>
