puppylove713 Yeah, I'm surviving, but barely. Oh well passing is passing even if it is just by a hair. However I am feeling very bad about the exam coming up in anesthesia because I have asked a lot of second year students about it and they all said that they either barely passed or failed the exam when they took it last year... That makes me feel even worse about it... So it's about giving sedatives to an animal?

ChaosKnights puppylove713 Yeah, I'm surviving, but barely. Oh well passing is passing even if it is just by a hair. However I am feeling very bad about the exam coming up in anesthesia because I have asked a lot of second year students about it and they all said that they either barely passed or failed the exam when they took it last year... That makes me feel even worse about it... So it's about giving sedatives to an animal?

puppylove713 Yes and no. It has to do with all of the meds and how they work and what they do... I can't keep anything straight... THat long of a list huh.

puppylove713 Oh yeah. I had to know about the opioids (narcotics), sedatives, and many other types of drugs.... So many of them, but I feel better about that exam than I thought I would. My classmates are saying the same thing. All of us felt bad going into it, but after everything was said and done, we felt like we did ok at least. I just hope I didn't fail it. MY grade can't take a failing exam in that class. The one I failed the practical was a 90% which is barely an A, but after failing the practical it dropped to a an 87% which is a high B... I'm not too concerned about that because I can pull it back up. That's good to know.

I failed a practical, anatomy quiz, and anesthesia exam straight in a row... Oh well, life goes on. Then I turn around and barely pass my radiology quiz on the following Monday... I have been having a rough time as of late... A bit of a dry spell you're having. You'll bounce back.

Well technically it is the instrument exam where we have to identify all of the surgical instruments... Much harder than one would think since there are so many of them... On top of that I have other quizzes to deal with. They just don't seem to know the meaning of giving their students a break. Is there a practical in using these instruments?

puppylove713 I'm not sure if there is one for using them further down the road or not, but no, not at this moment. However, I barely passed the instrument exam, but passing is passing so I'm content. Then it's all good. Congrats.
