That was the best advice Takiko had ever given. Before the fog had gotten so thick they couldn't see each other. Slowly the immense fog fades and Takiko is no where to be seen. Akina's body still lay limp on the ground.

Bridget took the elevator to the ground floor and strpped out and walked slowly across the lobby and out the door. It still was cloudy and the breeze brought a chill to the air... Bridget hardly felt it because of the Duster and
Stetson. She wandered the streets eventually finding herself the Stalkers
Chapter House. Bridget wrapped the hand up and then went over to the front door and went thru security...afterwhich she went to her quarters

(exit City..... go to Stalker's Chapter House)

It's the Captain. Well, that's what the folks back at the office call him. His name's Ahab, and he's FVZA (Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency). He's a he at age 26, and as human as you get. Blonde hair and a generic black Fed suit: cheap, flexible, and easy to get blood stains out of. He accents the look with a pair of dark green 62mm Ray-Ban G-15's and a pair of combat boots. He's going to the city for one purpose. There's been complaints.

Complaints about vampies always start at the lowest level, and are mostly dismissed as conservative types with a stick up their collective a**. When people start disappearing or leaking out their necks, the FVZA sends an agent, an agent like Ahab.

Which is why Ahab is driving into the city at this very moment. He's at the wheel of a GI Crown Vic with a compact Neostead pump shotgun occupying the seat next to him, obscured with a towel. Under the towel, the shotgun is accompanied by two spaghetti western style ammo belts in 12 guage and a .357 six-shooter. Ahab's got a .40 P7M10 in a shoulder holster on the left, and a .38 Detective special on the right. Plenty of ammo for all guns, agency issue "holy hollowpoints" for the pistols and fletche rounds laced with GAVF (Generic Anti Vampire Fluid) for the 12-guage.

He's ready to rock.

Nakura watched the wolf approach, and holstered his weapon.

"You are different, most Lycans would have gone into a were form, intent on killing me. But you opted for something you could control. Unfortunately, Im sure deep down you're still the same, that's why I am still obligated to kill you."

He drew a the hilt of a sword out, and pressed a button, the sword coming to full length at his side. As the wolf approached he leaped into the air.

Nakura watched the wolf run away.

"Coward!" he yelled as he put away his sword and ran after him.

It was then that he felt something very strong nearby. It was powerful, but not extremely. What he sensed more than anything was how evil this presence was. He decided to ignore it for now and continue his pursuit of the Lycan.

"You speak of hate and death, but mere moments ago you spoke of death as mercy! If I kill immortals, then they can not kill innocents, and so to stop death I must cause it. It may not seem logical, but it is the way of the-"

Before Nakura was finished he was thrown through the air, and hit a nearby brick wall. Before he even made impact, he had drawn his desert eagle and pointed it where he had stood, but stopped before he could pull the trigger. In that spot stood a small girl, no older than 5, but he could tell she was possesed. Even as she looked his direction, dark energy seeped out of her eyes. Her right arm was encased in a shadow, a large claw, almost as big as the girl herself.

"Trust me, I will do everything I can before killing her to destroy the demon, but chances are, she's already dead. She may only be a host body, but if there is a living girl in there, I will not kill her, probably."

As he looked at the girl, Nakura felt a pang of sadness. She reminded him of his sister, Anna, who was killed by a vampire so many years ago. He did not want to kill this girl, but he knew that ultimately, it may be the only way.
