Since Akemi defeated the clone, Batsu twirled his kunai around his finger a few times and placed his kunai back in the bag. He also walked over to the kunai he threw at the sensei's clone and put it back in the bag as well. There was no since letting it go to waste, since everything was perfectly fine with the thing. Batsu then slowly turned and looked at the fishboy (Batsu never got his name) and congradulated him a second time. He was still a bit hesitant to talk to the guy since the first enncounter, but the guy DID defeat the clone.

"Hey, good job defeating the clone... oh... and sorry for snapping at you earlier. If I would've been more careful, we wouldn't have gotten into the mess to begin with." The boy then gave a half smile as he reached in his bag, walked to a set of targets a few feet away and pulled out five shuriken. The fight taught him one thing though. He was a bad shot, a VERY bad one, and until he had a better aim he was destined for ultimate failure.

Taka gruffed slightly as the clone was defeated and Akemi got mad that it didn't hurt him. Akemi didn't know it of course but if Taka didn't hold the clone back it would have killed Akemi rather easily, even though it had attacked twice. Taka then stood up and walked over to the two boys clapping his hands together lightly. "Congradulations, maybe someday you'll be able to face the original." He said with a light grin on his face, he knew the Akemi would someday but he had an advantage, however Batsu did not.

Before Akemi could start on another jutsu Taka stopped him and waved the other Hoshigaki he had seen over. "Hold on it's getting late. I want you two to get some ranged training in and just maybe when we're done I'll buy you guys some Ramen." He said to another grin as he looked at all three boys.

As he heard his sensei talk, Batsu stopped dead in his tracks. The boy had no problem going for ranged practice since he was on his way there anyways. He had a defeatist aura about him as he went to the targets. The fact that he was basically a sidekick in the battle was not sitting right with him. In the future, being heavily-reliant on someone else would serve no purpose to him when he was alone.

Batsu was angry. Not at his sensei, not at the fish-guy, but himself. He felt weaker than he had ever felt before, but his drive had never been stronger. He wanted to be more than a sidekick. The boy craved to be of actual use. Running around like an idiot was not for him.

Batsu took out a shuriken and aimed it at the target that was in front of him, about 10 feet away. The boy gripped the weapon between his thumb and forefinger of his right hand and launched it at the target.

"Go figure", he thought as the shuriken landed high and to the right of the bullseye. He hit the second ring, but just barely since he hit the line between ring one and ring two. That just confirmed what he knew, his aim sucked and he needed to train.

"HA... HA...HA... HA..." Batsu fired for more shuriken from his bag in rapid succession. The boy was still slightly irritated from being a failure in his mind and throwing things kind of proved theraputic in a way.

Shuriken

This time, he did much better. The first and third shuriken hit in almost the exact sme spot in the third ring... a couple of centimeters. Coincidentally, the second and fourth shuriken landed in the exact same spot a couple of inches from the bullseye, but on opposite sides of the board. Batsu broke out his disappointment for a while and laughed at the fact that he was getting better and was doing weird things. He then headed to the target and plucked the shuriken out one-by-one.

Batsu walked back to where he first started and went back into starting position. The boy then placed three shuriken in between the finger's of his right fist. Using a downward motion, the boy threw the shuriken..

Batsu stared at what looked to be a bullseye and ran up to the target for a closer look. The boy was disappointed when he saw a small gap between the shuriken and the line of the bullseye. Disgruntled, Batsu stormed back to the throwing spot.

Batsu took the last two shuriken between the thumb and forefinger of each hand. He then folded his arms and flicked them in a crossing pattern. The boy was trying to use different throwing techniques in order to see which one was right for him.

Shuriken
Each student will be given 10 shuriken and be placed in front of a target board. There will be 3 rings around the bullseye.

Clearly that was the method for him. The boy threw his arms up and fell to his knees in jubilation as he hit the bullseye dead center with one shuriken and hit the third ring with the second. Batsu was now beginning to see just how much training was essential to his survival.

Akemi rolled his eyes, "Ranged attacks are for pussies that are afraid to dive into the action headfirst. I'm not a tender-skinned meatsack, and thus I plan on being in the fray as much as possible." Still he picked up the shuriken from the ground and threw them at the target.
His first shuriken leaned a bit towards the right. Akemi re-aligned himself and faced the board once more.
After focusing on the target for a bit he threw the second shuriken and got a bullseye. <******** yeah. See I told you that this whole meatsack shuriken throwing thing is easy. This is so not worth my time, but I'll be nice enough to stay and show you how its all done."
He threw another one and it hit directly above his first, just off to the right of the bullseye. "See that? I'm so good I can hit the same spot twice." Akemi lied through his teeth to keep up his confident act of being a manly man.
He threw his next one, which only supported his bluff further when it sank in another bullseye, but more importantly it was in the direct center of the target, and I mean dead center. It had to be the most perfect throw of a shuriken ever. "Oh my god. Ohmygod. Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod!!!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT!? ITS PEEEERRRRFECT! NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN SO PERFECT AS THAT!"
When he went to go point another shuriken flew from his hand and hit the middle ring. Now his perfect score was tainted. Akemi's face became serious again as he said, "I need to put my focus back on the target again."
Then he squared up the target again and threw another. This one went WAY off to the right, it was
nearly off the board, but it still managed to land inside the outermost ring. Akemi adjusted himself accordingly and scooted to the left before trying again. Akemi focused on the target board again and threw another shuriken, now he was just barely to the right again.
Once more he stepped over and threw the shuriken, it landed in the middle ring off to the left, yet again he had moved to much.
He moved right again and threw another shuriken, getting nearly the same position as the last one, but on the opposite side.
Akemi stared at his final shuriken and poured all of his hope into it, throwing it at the target and hoping for another bullseye, but to no avail. It hit about an inch below the last one.
Akemi turned and said, "I lost my sweet spot." as if that justified his spotty aim at the end and began to walk away. He was rather infuriated by this whole process of being told what to train in, especially as it was training that he intended on not using unless all other options were exhausted. Still he had to respect the rank and power of his superior and so he did. It astounded him how incompetent Batshit managed to be on the battlefield only to turn around and score better than him on this training. Was the kid even trying to fight the clone? Thank god Akemi had been there, and thank god for that bokken, otherwise that fight may have very well never ended. These peopl were far to infuriating for Akemi to stand much longer and he was going to make it a point to remove himself as soon as time would allow.

Batsu walked checked to make sure shark-boy wasn't throwing anything else before he ran to his own target and plucked his shuriken out. He smilled doing so since he DID hit a bullseye, which marked his progression. Still he wanted to be one of, if not THE best long-ranged ninja in the village. In order to do that he had to keep training. The boy quickly ran back to his spot and got prepared to launch more shuriken.

Batsu placed a shuriken between his fingers of his fists. He did one weapon in each hand, so he figured that two in each hand would be a decent step up from last time.

The boy crossed his arms and grunted loudly as he unfolded and released. The four shuriken landed on the target at almost the exact same time... and make matters better, two of the shuriken hit the bullseye. He smiled heavily and quickly ran back to the target to fetch the shuriken.

Batsu grabbed the shuriken and snatched them out of the target. With a quick turn he ran back to his area. He then turned back to the target and got his shuriken back between two of the gaps of his fist on both hands and he folded his arms again.

As Batsu watched the shuriken soar and spin through the air, he yawned a bit. The boy was getting a bit tired. After all, he did train his a** off, face a clone, and did it all with little rest. His yawn was disturbed with four loud thuds.... the thuds of the shuriken landing. The boy stared down at the target and noticed another bullseye. He chuckled at himself since he has made at least one bullseye out of his recent throws. He didn't notice anything else but that though. He was beginning to become a perfectionist.

Taka watched over both Students as they threw thier seperate shuriken both doing rather well. He nodded silently as he watched, yes they'd both make fine Ninja someday just as soon as Akemi learned to not be so arrogant. Taka hadn't told them yet that they'd be on the same team someday, perhaps he would when they went to get ramen. A grin appeared over his face as he thought about thier reactions. Soon thought he noticed that Batsu was finished and was beginning to start on shuriken again. "Batsu, you can finish yourself this time but after start of throwing Kunai knives. Same for you Akemi, when you finish throwing shuriken throw some kunai. Once you both finish both we'll get some ramen!" He said to them with yet another grin.

Batsu heard Taka-sensei and he spoke in response. "Understood, Taka-sensei. I have a question. Well..." Batsu ran back to the target and plucked the shurikens out."... a couple of questions."

Batsu ran back to his throwing spot and tossed two shuriken in a side-sweeping motion half-heartedly.

Taka, who had been standing iibetween the students, walked over to Batsu careful to appear as helpful as possible. "Yes Batsu what are your questions?" He asked in caring teacher sort of voice turning his head for a moment to watch the shuriken hit the target. He made sure to make a mental note of Batsu's role on the future team.

(I need to point out that in training every roll is treated as a post so the for sentence rule applies to every roll in training. Since I forgot to mention that I'll let it slide for your past rolls but from now on foursentences per roll. Sage you can finish your this shuriken training first, just to be fair.)

Mizuiro was not in the same part of the academy as the others, he was now going to learn another jutsu, due to the others somehow getting ahead of him. He decided to rush this one. But what was he doing? He decided to find out.
"Henge no Jutsu?" He looked at the scroll that he had grabbed from the classroom. He looked at the instructions carefully. But he really didn't understand how he could transform. He looked at the scroll over and over and over....

After the reading the scroll at least twenty times, he now realized how to do this technique. But first he needed someone to change into, so he ran around the Academy, until he got back to where the new sensei, Akemi and the wimp were training. He looked them over, and decided to transform into their new sensei.

He nodded himself and decided to just give it a go. He did the tiger seal, and molded some chakra into the shape he wanted and then in a puff of smoke he turned into... Oh... oh... OH DEAR... IT'S... It was pretty good. He turned into a blue, kind of stubby version of Taka.

Mizurio tried again, this time he looked Taka up and then down, remembering his look as best he could. He molded chakra and formed the tiger seal, then initiated the technique! he turned into a giant version of Taka's foot. It was the last thing on his mind, because he looked at his feet last. At least he transformed into something.
