She bit her lip as the freezing cold drilled into her bones worning under her flesh. Her cheeks were hot as blood pumped through her every fiber to chase off the cold. A flurry of snow shielded the world and she had to rip through the white armor with full force. The opposing seeker had an fallen hot on the snitches lingering trail, or, was she? It was hard to tell. She blinked green gems and clenched her fingers tight around the handle of her broom. It had to be somewhere, she just needed to focus. But, it was so hard to concentrate with the piercing chill penetrating past her defenses.

Dominic felt the rumble of a growl clawing at the back of his throat. His bludger soared past Shina's trail, quite a ways behind her and tossed off course from the velocity skidding from her broom. He'd barely even seem the opposing beater and her vibrant redhair as a bludger hurtled his way. "Gah!" He howled with surprise at the spiralling cannon right in front of his face!
He barely had time to duck his head down and feel the high winds skating through his hair. Maybe half an inch lower and it could have knocked his head clean off his shoulders. With barely a sigh of relief, he launched headstrong back into the game. Raising his arm and whipping his wrist back, Dom aimed right for their chaser, Rosemarie.

 Shina Kiremono~Fifth Year~Ravenclaw Prefect and Seeker The icy wind as she sped across the field bit at her cheeks. The hand gripping her broom felt heavy and clumsy. Shina knew it would be nearly useless for catching the agile snitch, so she made sure to keep her other hand tucked well under her scarf to protect its dexterity.  Amanda snarled when Rosemarie caught the quaffle instead. Just then, a bludger slammed into Rosemarie's side. Good job, Dom, she thought, grinning at her teammate for a second before proceeding with the game. Everything happened so quickly that Amanda was glad her fellow chasers were able to stay on their toes and obtain possession of the ball. As she flew, she made sure to make it obvious that she was open for a pass from Daniel.
