═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ ❣𝕬nnaliese 𝕯e 𝕷une❣ 6th Year "Chuchotez-moi une mélodie que je te chanterai une harmonie" Annaliese raised an eyebrow and laughed as Rose called her super sweet. She had to admit she was loyal, but super sweet? Sure she was nice to her friends but she was brutally honest. Plus if you didn't like her, she didn't have a problem showing that person that she didn't like you. Loyalty had to be the reason she was a Hufflepuff. No matter who it was or how big they were if one of her friends was in trouble she would fight tooth and nail to protect them. "I suppose you are righ'... I am very loyal!" she chose to leave out the fact that she wasn't all that 'super sweet'.
Scrunching up her nose she shook her head at the mention of heavy metal. "It iz not my type o' muzic but zere were a few boys back in France who did listen to it." she laughed lightly as she watched a smaller Slythrin girl argue with a Gryffindor prefect and then a Ravenclaw boy. She pulled her eyebrows together then looked back at Rose putting a smile back on her face. "I 'ave to practice all ze time at home. My mozer makes me so it iz not bad to get away from it." She stood up after Rose did and follower her motions in smoothing down her skirt. Glancing around the great hall once more she stood slightly awkwardly. She was shorter than Rose, and almost everyone in here. She stood at only 4'11 so most people towered over her. Annaliese swore she had seen a 1st yeah who was taller than her.

♚Ƚiam ʝɐɯǝs ώinchester♚ 6th year Slytherin "Friends are God's apology for relations." Keeping the book safely at his side Liam walked through the dungeons. He wasn't sure where he wanted to go, he had free time and wanted to maybe just write. His blue eyes scanned the hall, only first years were walking around. Rolling his eyes he stepped out of the dungeons, he wasn't a person who had many friends. It would be nice if he could find people who weren't obnoxiously loud.
Liam's more sadistic side wanted to go back to the common room and watch the squid scare the first years. However he kept walking ignoring that side of himself for the time being. Biting his lip he took in a deep breath as he stepped into the fresher air of the great hall. As much as he loved the Slytherin common room the air was slightly stuffy. Stepping out of the way for two giggling girls he shook his head. If he hadn't moved they would have acted like he was intruding on them. It was much easier to move to the side.
As he walked into the Great Hall he looked over all the people. Most of them seemed to be happy, yet none of them were people he knew. Stepping past everyone he made his way to the Slytherin table and sat down. Pulling his book from his bag he sat it on the table. Scanning the Great Hall one last time he abandoned his idea of writing and pulled out a Muggle pencil. He started sketching random people in the room. A Hufflepuff girl and a Ravenclaw girl walking out of the great hall, he was lucky he had a good memory because the Ravenclaw girl walked fast. A younger Slytherin girl was was slowly walking out of the Great Hall. A Gryffindor girl who had sat down to eat. And finally a Ravenclaw boy and a Gryffindor boy who were both seated at the Ravenclaw table. He kept his eyes away from everyone. If they saw him drawing them he didn't want them to think he was a creeper or anything of the sort.

Tyson CaffreyIf you are ashamed to stand by your colors, 7th Year Ravenclawyou had better seek another flag. Tyson smiled, glad that he wasn't singled out. He had been worried he would be the only new kid for people to pick on. Not that he wanted others to be picked on. It just came with being new, didn't it? Tyson's Australian accent got richer as he became more relaxed. Upon arriving in London he had wished he hadn't had the accent because it attracted so much unwanted attention, but he had quickly shook that feeling just as he had when he realized he was gay. "Really? That's odd. Glad I wasn't singled out or anything though." He said. Tyson wondered why that house was cruel. He still knew practically nothing about Hogwarts.
"I'm in seventh year." Tyson said in response to the question. He wondered if it was odd transferring in the last year of wizard schooling. He thought it was. Tyson felt so out of it. "You?" He added after a seconds pause. Tyson thought about the professor's he had met. He hadn't been to any classes yet and had only met a few of them. "Well truly I haven't been to class yet. Only got here this morning." He said not really able to pick at the moment. He didn't judge by first impressions so he couldn't pick right then and there.

sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя "Sixth year." Lucas said a bit quickly, wishing he hadn't brought up the question at all. "The Professor's are really great, the potions master and herbology teacher I think are the two best, but Defense Against the Dark Arts is just a good subject in general. And the Headmistress," He pointed up at the staff table to where she sat in the middle, smiling and drinking some tea, "I know from first-hand experience how kind she is." He smiled brightly, remembering how she assured his parents about Hogwarts so he could get in, she made sure the Wolfsbane was brewed for him, gave him endless food in the shrieking shack, let him miss as much school as he needed until he could recover from harvest moon, and made excuses for him. She even gave him the points back that Fionna had taken un justly. Honestly, everyone here seemed nice to him, because they were such an improvement from the horrible people he'd faced. His parents had even told people what he was so that they'd avoid him, and people were usually got off-guard by it and stopped talking to him. Talking to someone now was a blessed relief from silence, his voice had been ready to die out and fail him, he hadn't used it in so long. He couldn't keep a small smile off his face the whole time he was talking. He also couldn't avoid the constant refrain of 'please don't ever find out. please don't ever leave me like the others did. Just one friend. Just one.'

Tyson CaffreyIf you are ashamed to stand by your colors, 7th Year Ravenclawyou had better seek another flag. Tyson nodded at the quick response, but didn't comment. He wondered why it was rushed. It might be because he looked older than that, but it really shouldn't matter. That was Tyson's opinion on it. You had to accept yourself for who you are and be happy. He learned that a while ago and has been trying to stick to that motto ever since.
Tyson was glad to hear that the professor's were good. He wasn't sure what to expect from them. The ones in Australia had been kind of mean with the occasional nice seed. That was because the pure bloods practically ran the school though. "That's good to hear. The Headmistress does seem very nice. Met her upon entering Hogsmeade to help me safely to the castle." He said to the boy. The boy? It just kicked in that he didn't know his name which of course meant the boy didn't know his either. "I feel silly. Completely forgot introductions." He said chuckling slightly. "I'm Tyson Caffrey." A broad smile appeared on his face. That was usually the first thing you did. Introduce yourself, yet both of them had forgotten. Well no harm done. They would know them in a moment.

sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя Lucas smiled at his own stupidity. "I'm Lucas Carter. It's great to meet you." He took another few bites of breakfast, feeling really hungry. He'd been seriously working in all of his classes and it wore him out. The homework load kept piling up at NEWT level, he'd never been used to this before. It was always just here's some papers, have it done by tomorrow, not essays and practicing charms. He usually just had to sit there for hours until he got a charm right. And around fullmoon, he didn't get work. He was instead created like something poisonous and ignored by both his parents and relatives. He missed out on learning a lot because of his condition, but again, the headmistress was understanding and made sure he could make up the work. He was coming to think that almost anything was really possible at Hogwarts.
"So were you homeschooled before you came here?" He asked, trying to start up conversation again. He'd never really met someone else who was homeschooled like he had been, he knew it had happened, but just didn't know anyone as an example. A lot of people were new, but it was because they transferred. He wondered what other magic schools looked like...were they all castles? Were some of them smaller than Hogwarts, or was Hogwarts one of the smaller schools? Were their uniforms the same? His mind was suddenly crowded with questions and he drained it focusing on the one.

Tyson CaffreyIf you are ashamed to stand by your colors, 7th Year Ravenclawyou had better seek another flag. "Pleasure." Tyson said and noted the name in his head. He would most likely remember Lucas though. The first nice student he actually talked to wasn't likely to be forgotten. Tyson also took some more bites of his food. He hadn't really eaten last night because he was really nervous about coming to Hogwarts. It was silly to skip a meal and it had bit him in the butt when he was starving this morning.
"No I wasn't home schooled." He said answering Lucas' question. He wondered what it was like to be though. Lucas probably was though since that was what he had asked. It was a tendency of people to ask of their details to see if its common. Basic human behavior. "I went to the wizard school in Australia. I'm guessing you were home schooled though?" He said to Lucas before stuffing a piece of bacon in his mouth. It would be strange being home schooled, and terrible with his parents. Tyson wondered how long it would have taken for him to figure out he was gay if he hadn't been around a bunch of guys all the time.

sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя "Yeah." Lucas said a bit gloomily. "My parents and I don't get along really well though, we just don't see eye-to-eye." He always found this a better thing to say, since so many kids could relate to it. Rather than saying they're cruel, he just said this. If he said they verbally and sometimes physically abused him, people would ask why and get all in his business which he hated. He loved talking to people and fooling around since he never got to, but drawing attention to himself was just never a good idea.
"Was it hard leaving home, you're so far away now?" He asked, trying to be as sensitive as possible. Even though he hated home, he'd never really imagined leaving it to go so far away. What did he even move here for in the first place? Australia must be much more fun and exciting than where he'd grown up. Never leaving the house after the bite. He'd had such an amazing little childhood though, like when he was really really young. He knew he had, because he could vaguely remember bits and pieces of it, him exploring with his group of friends. Seeing them get ripped to shreds still flashed across his mind at times, it had scarred him horribly and even though he was over it, had accepted it, he could never forget it. And he could never leave it. He couldn't flee from the country where it all happened, where his life was practically taken from him and definitely changed, because now he wanted to get it back here. Perhaps Tyson just had no reason to stay? Nothing holding him back?

Tyson CaffreyIf you are ashamed to stand by your colors, 7th Year Ravenclawyou had better seek another flag. Tyson nodded. He completely understood having parents that don't understand you. That basically spelled it out for him. If they had even cared to interact with him they probably would have noticed signs before seeing the real thing. "I can understand that." He said stating part of his thoughts.
Tyson fiddled with a ring on his finger for a moment. It was the matching ring to his boyfriends. Correction ex-boyfriend's. That had probably been the hardest part of leaving home. "It was excruciatingly hard, to be honest. Spent every day of my life there. Except for the rare occasions that i went on vacation." Tyson finally said. He wasn't too keen on sharing a ton with somebody he had just met. He sighed and added, "It's so different here and I know absolutely nobody." That was true. He was a loner for now. Well, except for his new friend Lucas. At least he hoped they could be considered friends.

sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя Lucas felt horrible for having assumed he didn't have a lot to leave behind, because it sounded like he did. But he could understand how Tyson felt as well. He had to leave all of his friends behind, a whole group of them behind in one night, but at least Tyson's friends were alive. He wanted to say something, like he knew how loss felt, but wasn't sure how to word it. He paused and said,
"I'm sorry. I know what it's like to lose friends and people you care about, I had to leave my entire group of friends behind in one night. I haven't seen them since." He hoped that this would sum it up fairly nicely. He looked down for a moment and let somewhat of a shadow creep over his face. He looked up quickly, though, and is was gone, as if it had never been there. "Well I don't have loads of friends here either." He said bluntly, "so you're not completely alone." He smiled and went back to eating for something to do. He knew the pause where he said what he did about his friends may have been awkward, but he felt like it needed to be said. If he didn't say anything at all, then how could he comfort Tyson? Relating to someone was the only way he knew how to bring them some means of understanding and relaxation. He wondered a bit who the Slytherin girl was, didn't she see he was a new student and may have been through a lot? Bullying the new kid he always thought was just stereotypical and stupid, and he didn't like whoever it had been already.

Tyson CaffreyIf you are ashamed to stand by your colors, 7th Year Ravenclawyou had better seek another flag. Tyson nodded sullenly. He thought he knew what Lucas had meant by the comment about his friends. It was pretty sad and awkward, but Lucas was just trying to show him that he could relate. "It's fine and I'm sorry about your friends as well." He said after thinking if he should respond to that or not. It seemed like something dark to Lucas and something he didn't like to bring up, but Tyson had decided that it would be nice to say something instead of ignoring the comment.
The change of emotion was a little odd as well, but it was a good thing. Dwelling on sad stuff and the past wasn't a good idea, but it was sometimes good to open up and talk about certain things. "Well that's great. I mean not about you not having many friends, but that I'm not alone." He laughed at himself as he tried to clear up his wording. "Hopefully we both make some more. Are your other friends nice?" He asked curious. He might meet some of them. Tyson found it quite ironic that the first person he met that was kind as a guy. Usually he didn't relate to guys that well because he was gay. Though Lucas was different. He was nice and easy to talk to, but Tyson wasn't attracted to him in that way. Lucas would definitely just be a friend in his book. He actually wondered if Lucas realized he was gay. It probably wasn't hard to figure out, but it was possible that some people couldn't.

sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя Lucas nodded. "I'm on the Gryffinclaw Quidditch team, a beater, so I have some friends from the team. The Headmistress's daughter, Al, is one of my closer friends. I know her boyfriend, Drago, and the Ravenclaw Rose as well." Besides Drago and Al, the other Gryffindors seemed a bit distant from him. Fionna was like their leader, so they were no doubt taking her example, following her lead, and leaving him alone. He wasn't sure what to think anymore. At first he was angry and hurt, but now he knew it was time to just get over it and move on. But it had been what really tied him to the school, was his greatest memory. He was glad Tyson and him were friends, but he really just wanted Fionna back. Fullmoon was coming up too, about two weeks away. What if she scheduled another Quidditch practice when he'd be in the shrieking shack? He'd have to tell her this time. And his mind began to drift off into him telling Fionna why he really couldn't be there, her horrified reaction...he just couldn't let it go. He needed to let her go and move on, but it was harder, by far, than so many things he'd done before. Not all, but this must be in the top ten.

Tyson CaffreyIf you are ashamed to stand by your colors, 7th Year Ravenclawyou had better seek another flag. Tyson smiled. Quidditch was fun. He didn't play though. Wasn't coordinated enough to manage it. His forte was singing and dancing. He was actually really clumsy unless he was doing a dance. "Oh that sounds fun. I like to watch quidditch. Not good at playing though." He said. The name Rose clicked with him and he remembered that the Headmistress told him she was the Ravenclaw Prefect. "Rose is the prefect right? I think the Headmistress told me that in case I needed some help." He added. He would probably need some help. He had gotten lost trying to get to the great hall and the Headmistress had even given him directions.
Tyson wondered if there were any opportunities for singing and dancing at this school. There hadn't really at his old school because it was all guys and very few were interested in that kind of stuff, but those that were had gotten together and did a few things here and there on their own. There were probably more people that like to sing and dance here since it was both genders. Tyson hoped he could find some and maybe get something going or join something existing.
