NaomiNaomi  Meeka shook her head. "I . . . " she began. " . . . have no idea." she finished after an exasperated sigh. "There doesn't seem much that we CAN do, honestly."
Rin milled around, floating about in left to right arcs, swinging her tail like a pendulum. "Hmm, hmm . . . " she muttered in thought.  Opal swayed slightly, the energy drained out of her from the jailing and the Eevee melee. She sighed. "Well..." Nerezza floated by Rin, keeping one eye on the Mewtwo at all times. "Hey Rin. What are we supposed to do about the field?"

FireFoxNinetails ((Rockets over here click )) Luna pursed her lips. "We could try to overload it...or perhaps try to get some ground type pokemon to tear at it? They'll probably be able to take the damage better." 
"If it was overloaded, wouldn't there be risk of explosion? This outcome is dangerous. Tearing at it... I don't know if that would work, but that's probably a better idea." She nodded.

@FayahJust a few paces away, Danny hears Luna give two ideas as well, one similar to his and another involving ground type. "Sounds like a great idea, Luna," he said eagerly.He tried to remember if Ponyta could learn any ground types at all but he could think of none.

Oyumi's reply distracted her and Rhia turned away from Carter slightly so there would be no lip reading (just in case!). Rhia swallowed and shook her head slightly, trying to keep her voice down since so many people were about. Even Carter was close, and she wasn't sure he would believe her, although she found she enjoyed his presence. He gave off the same kind of impression to her as Parker did. "It's hard to explain. It was like I had been sucked out of the road. Not physically, but mentally. There was this figure, but it was an indistinct green blob, and it warned me to tread carefully, that there was darkness tainting Motterossa. It said that I should keep close to those who had earned my trust." She smiled awkwardly and shrugged. "Part of why I stuck to you like a Shellder to a Slowpoke's tail."
She looked back at the shield, then at the hole in the inn's wall. Why did that make her think of something...
"I know it sounds weird, but you can ask Fuutarou to mind-check me or something. That's what happened. When whatever-it-was left I was completely disoriented. That was why Castor stopped and I seemed dizzy."

Anala snorted nervously when a few Pokemon attempted to go past the barrier through force, sending sparks flying. She shied away from it, but Mina stilled her, rubbing her neck reassuringly. She didn't think they were close enough to the shield's edge for it to harm them, but then again....

Nikki smirked as she watched the shield come up, protecting them from the trainers.
However, they could do more than just sit there! Pulling out a canister, she pulled the pin with her teeth and tossed it out into the mob of trainers.
"Ha! Take that!" She shouted, tear gas immediately erupting from the can and flooding the general area in which it landed.

The barrier came up, almost directly under Jay. Startled, having been distracted by the eevee, he fell backwards, avoiding any damage. He sat there looking up at the barrier with a surprised and confused look.

Tygress noticed a familiar pair nearby and wandered over. "Hi Robin! Any idea what's going on? I left early today to go riding and explore and came back to this," she waved her arm about to indicate the still slightly chaotic gathering of trainers.

"Now that you mention it, I saw someone with a rental onix. Someone in the violet group. Maybe it could break through the barrier?"
However their coversation was interrupted as cansiter of tear gas landed in the midst of the group.
"LOOK OUT! TEAR GAS!"
Zoey held Spook close as she ran in the opposite direction of the gas.

@Anyone who's using a pokemon to take down the shield: Anise had neither an Electric or Ground pokemon, so she wouldn't be much use in taking down the shield. Though Felix could help with Assist. She let the Delcatty out, then called, "Felix can help another pokemon with Assist. Anyone want it?"

Before Rin could give an answer to Nezz, she dashed over to Meeka and squeezed her tightly to her chest. The bomb exploded and tainted her eyes. It hurt like hell, she knew it. Meeka managed to be somewhat spared from the results of the tear gas but still got hit with a minor shed of vapor. Her eyes teared too but she could still see somewhat.

"Gaaas!" Lauren shrieked when the can exploded. She made Kiara return to her pokeball and covered her nose and mouth with her shirt. Right now, she really wished she had a flying type.
