Rave grinned as he heard her, "Yes, but that one chocolate cake seemed to lead to many things..." He sat on the window, looking out at the sky. It was dark now, and quite pretty. The sky was filled with darkness as bits of light tried to come through via the stars. But the city didn't allow that.

"I don't know...it seems like a game...but so far nothng too bad." That worried Kalore greatly.

Monty shook his head. "Putting bad and Gambler in the same sentence means something. I think we should break this elevator and stop it. Someone is going to get killed." He said, concerned for the outcome of their game.

Gambler shrugged and found Rave. She leaned against the doorframe and crossed her arms. "So, how do you want to die? Slowly or quickly? I have work to do with the city you know and time is money. I have to get you set up with that contract and get your name. I also have to get your accounts with Eldin and Kalore and then your new homes. Yep...." She shifted to her other foot. "I got tons of work to do, Rave." She could postpone all that stuff. They weren't mandatory. She could do all that stuff in the next few years if she wanted to. Rave messing with her height was a big mistake.

Without even moving, he spoke, "This city is annoying...you can't even see the stars..." Gambler may have been threatening him, but Rave didn't care. She would hurt him, but Gambler wouldn't kill him. She didn't have the power to totally kill him off, not without dying herself.

Kalore twitched, "If you can break out of here, break out of here because I don't wanna stay in here!" With the thought of the chance to break out in his mind, Kalore was reminded of how much he really didn't like Monty.

Monty rolled his eyes. "I won't do anything because of you. Hell no." He said not looking at Kalore. He didn't care about this male. He cared that his boss wasn't going to be killed.

Gambler shrugged. "You have to go on the roof. It's better." She said not moving and cautious about being there. She didn't want to make a false move or else it would be bad for her.

Kalore glared, "Then get us out of here for whatever reason you can think of in that thick head of yours." This man was annoying...very annoying...

Patting the spot beside him, Rave didn't look at her, "Wanna go up there with me or sit here with me? Or leave..." The man wasn't going to fight, not now that the sky had grabbed his attention.

Gambler could most likely do those things now to get it over with. Especially since Rave was looking at the sky. She didn't want to mess up his peace. She bowed to him lowly. "Enjoy the view." She stepped away and began to go back down the hall and to the emergency stairs. "See, Eldin? Harmless." She muttered under her breath.

Monty punched Kalore on his mouth. "Say another insult and I'll rip your tongue out." He growled. He was fed up with his crap already. He was being more civil than usual and Kalore killed it.

"Hey..." Rave glanced over at her before she could leave his sight, "Things got out of hand, Miss Gambler. Mind sitting here with me? To make it up?" His voice was charming and slightly sad. Rave wasn't apologizing, but he was attempting slight peace.

Glaring, Kalore was quickly over Monty, his neck ready to be snapped, "And throw another punch without realizing that you've said the same things as I, and I snap your neck, demon." It was something that most people didn't understand about Kalore. He was fast, and once he got his hands on you, you would have to have the strength of a god to get him off.

With a fierce growl Monty grabbed Kalore and slammed him hard against the elevator wall. "I've been attempting to be civil but you ruined it with that insult." His arms and neck were beginning to burn. If Kalore wanted to play with fire then he was going to play with fire.

Gambler stopped walking and wheeled back, walking towards Rave. She nodded and sat next to Rave. A part of her was cautious. Yes, she could trust Rave like Kalore and Eldin with her life. Sometimes it was that seraph in her and that cautious woman slash monster in her that kept up with that cautious. Looking out the window, it was a nice night. She stared at it and counted the stars that were bright enough to see.

Smiling the smile that only Gamble had seen, rave spoke, "It's lovely... not as lovely as Ellwood, but still. The night sky is a beautiful thing, don't you agree?"

"Bullshit!" With a kick, Monty was against the other wall, Kalore had him in the same poistion Monty had him in moments ago. "You started the damned insults before we even got in here, demon." The heat was uncomfortable, but so far it wasn't anything painful.

Monty snarled at Kalore throwing him against the same wall from before and put his whole body weight with the force. "Your the one who started with the name calling of p***k! So don't give me that sh*t of starting anything! I warned you not to talk to me but you wouldn't listen, elf!" He took his temperature to the next level and it was hot!

Gambler nodded, leaning back against the window frame. "Do you miss Ellwood?" She asked. It was nice. It was nice when you could fly over the city or just fly as high as you could breath and to a free fall while looking at the heavens behind you.

"I don't know really..." Rave sighed. "You see, I miss the beauty of Ellwood, but I don't miss the people. I don't know the people here all that well, but you see, so far they're better than the ones that I was with in Ellwood." He hoped that Gambler would understand that, but it wasn't that difficult to see.

Kalore glared, "You started with the leash comments, and I retaliated!" He groaned slightly as the heat went up and the pain was starting to come, but the elf ignored it. "And you spoke to me as well, so you can't put this all on me."

Monty let out another loud growl and glare at the elf. His temper getting the better of him. "You should have ignored it like everyone else and not cry over something so harmless!" He let his temperature go up but remembered that if he did, he would end up hurting or killing Kalore and he didn't want that. He turned off his temperature and glared daggers at Kalore.

Gambler nodded. She understood. She understood very well. "The people here aren't that good. It's really all how you make it. Here or anywhere, I like to make it fun because this place could be someone's worst nightmare." She shrugged and looked at the city. "Do you like heights?" It was an odd question but it seemed to her that Rave liked the sky and to see it's stars.

"It could be...yes this place could be a person's worst nightmare..." But Rave moved on, "I do like heights. It makes it much easier to see the stars... Not a fan of heights in the day though. It gets too hot and bright. The night sky is just perfect." Glancing to Gambler, he asked, "What about you, Miss Gambler? Do you like heights?"

Growling, it seemed that both men hadn't noticed that Monty was over him as Kalore spoke, "If you can deal out something, expect someone to deal it right back, Demon. I don't roll over when being insulted." They were close, and all the elf would have to do is reach out snap the man's neck, but it seemed that Demons were harder to break than most things. The temperature change was a relief but the elf wouldn't show that.

Gambler grinned and looked up at the sky. "I love heights. It's the sensation of freedom that comes with it. It's the thrill and rush of being able to fly as high as you can and then the free fall...." Her eyes were shinning because that was the few reasons that made being a seraph awesome.

"Well then you should begin learning the difference between insults and sarcasum, elf." He growled. He looked at Kalore closely. This elf wanted to break his neck. Good. He wanted the elf to try and do it.

"Free fall?" Looking at Gambler, Rave raised a brow, "Sounds fun, would be awesome. But...I haven't perfected shadow wings yet..." He thought for a moment on what it would take to fully perfect that. It would be hard, but it was possible. And he was an elf, so he had time. Unless Gambler pushed him out the window...but his shadows would save him.

Kalore growled back, "You should be able to handle a couple insults, demon. Or are you too much of a damned p***y to take it?" The man may have been an elf, but he wasn't the normal lf that people thought of. Kalore wasn't a nice person, not at all. Many people wished that he didn't have the mouth that he did, but alas, the blond was a ticking time bomb and Monty was only making that timer go faster.
