Kesshou looked at the door for a moment. ''Noone's been here for a few days other than a house cat, you do know that right?'' Just as she said that there was an agitated mew from behind them. Kesshou looked back at the cat. ''Oh! Please, excuse me.'' She moved to the side.

The cat looked at Arell and seemed to sigh. ''You two are friends of Crystal aren't you?'' He pointed to a couple grociery bags at the top of the steps, ''Get those, would you?''

The cat squeesed into the apartment through a window that was stuck slightly open. A few moments later the door unlocked and opened.

Kesshou went and got two of the five bags, looking dumbfounded.

Kesshou smiled softly as she sat the groceries on the floor in fronth the 'kitchen' counter before ploping herself on the couch.

''I like your accent, it makes me think of Remy.'' She changed back into herself.

The cat jumped up on the counter anmd pressed a button on what l'ooked like an answering machien. ''Crystal. You have company.''

Her voive came over the thing, ''You know, I'm not alone and I'm in costume...''

The cat spoke again. ''No, I didn't. But I do now, thank you.' He was quite sarcastic.'

Crystal retorted, ''Yah, I'll be bringing someone else as well.'' There was a click from the machien and silence.

The cat junmped down anmd started putting the groceries away. ''So how do you know Crystal?''

Jinx continued fighting alongside the police against the communist troopers. The Titan slaps a trooper across the throat -- stunning him. Then, Roshni uses a nerve strike to render the thug unconscious.

'Batgirl' grumbles out loud, "Where the heck do they get these guys!? Rent-A-Punk!?!"

Close by, Detective Bullock pulls off a few bursts at some of the troopers, "Yeah, that sounds about right..."

Angelica woke up with a horrible headache serrenaded by gunfire . Firestar fully opened her eyes and takes in her surroundings seeing where the police line was.

As she started to stand up, she felt her costume's zipper catch on the side of the trashed police cruiser. Angelica stopped and looked down, Well..... That could have been embarrassing.

Carefully, the redhead unsnagged the zipper and casually zipped up the front of her costume, then flew up in the air with a firey energy sheath around her.

Aiming, Firestar made several percise blasts, melting the communists' weaponry into slag.

Arell smiled. "Wow, back home ya just went through de door, didn't thank you'd get thrown all over creation." the Cajun said nonchalantly as he tried to do a once-over of his whole body since the explosion. Damn, Hex. Didn't think you'd do that! he thought, realizing since he ducked, he couldn't feel the top of his head up to his forehead, replaced by nothing more than a warm sensation. He chuckled a bit when the cat threatened him.

"Don't you worry yo'self one bit, kitty. I'll take good care of her." he said.

(Enter from Outside Area of Gotham)

Crystal rode in on her bike, being followed by Robin. She sped through the city and into Crime Alley. She looked back to make sure the bird boy was still there.

Selina swung through the night sky with her whip. It retracted as Catawoman flipped through the air and landed perfectly on her two feet atop a museum roof top. She smiled to herself, enjoying the adrenalin pulsing through her as she sprinted soundlessly through the cold air. Approaching a ceiling window, she gazed down - smiling at her future prize: the 36 karat diamond. Of course, it wasn't really her style, but it was the hunt that thrilled her. Fogging the glass as she peered inside, she clicked her wrist and 5 razor sharp retractible claws sprung from her gloved fingertips. She cut herself a nice big shape through which to enter. As the glass fell through she shot a suction cup gun that quickly caught it, and then pulled it up slow & easy. Lifting the heavy glass out, she rested it beside her and after catching her breath, she proceeded to make her entrance.

Near Catgirl and Robin, a Russian T-90 tank drives through the street followed twenty communist troopers. The tank fires at a Gotham PD ATV, and the shell goes straight through its frame. The ATV stops moving even though it's engine is still running.

"Ah, crap," Detective Bullock turns to see the tank. He and other police officers use rubble as cover and fires at the Soviets. The troopers return fire using their tank as cover.

'Batgirl' takes a batarang, infuses a hex into it, and throws it at the tank. The tank turret began to swing it's main weapon toward away from the wrecked ATV and toward the police line. Jinx's batarang jams itself in between the turret and the main body causing a spark of violet energy with shorts the mechanism rotating the turret.

Firestar, while still flying, turns her attention toward the tank and begins to aim.....
