She shrugged, "Not the hordes." she whispered then fell limp in his arms.

Evey grinned and glanced over at him, tilting her head to the otherside and watching him.

"Whatever you your black little heart wants.

Dorian grinned very wide at what Evey had said to him, fond memories of his life flooded in for a moment. These were quickly replaced with other memories and his old 'training'.

"Lets head to the library love, either we can learn something or shoot something."

Lor sagged at the sudden shift in weight, but managed not to drop her. "Saylis..." He looked up at the stars. Where should they go? He put her on his back and took her to a place he thought might do her some good.

As she wrapped the wounds she became quiet, as he had. They were probably thinking things along the same line. The scent of his blood was strong where she sat, right in front of the majority of his wounds. After she had finished she moved away gently, returning to his front to have a look at her work. Having a good look she gave a laugh as he put his vest back on.
"You look like a mummy."
She stated with a giggle. Placing a hand on the back of her neck she looked across the roof tops that were at their level for a while. Letting her hand slide down she continued to look across the roofs.
"You should probably get back to the Haven. They could probably treat you better than I can out here."
She said rather relctantly. Glancing at him she gave a sigh, then smiled playfully.
"And if any hunters give you a hard time, I will deal with them."
She said in an obviously joking tone.

Despite feeling like he'd been kebabed by his vest, Ein managed a genuine smile. "I'm sure you would, but truthfully..." He walked up beside Zzeill, staring out across the cityscape like she was. "...I don't plan on going back...not anytime in the near future anyway, unless it's to get something vital for my survival." His silver eyes outlined every nook and cranny of the New York City night, from the farthest corners to the darkest alleys, as if making a map in his head. Anything to get his mind off of Haven for the time being. A place where he wasn't recognized, where he was merely a statistic. Out here, though, with Zzeill, he felt like he was important.

The black helicopter on whisper mode continued it's flight into the city while
the people on the chopper removed what was left of Bidget's and Sanchez's body armor. They assessed thier wounds and radioed in what the status of Bridget and Sanchez was and to have surgical teams ready upon landing.

The helicopter landed upon a sky-scrapper's roof and Bridget and Sanchez
were immediately removed from the chopper to the elevator and down into
the the building. Bridget could see the lights from the ceiling flipping by her
as they rolled the stretcher down a corridor. She looked to her right and saw Sanchez and the fact he was still alive... then the stretchers went their
separate ways and into the sterile envronment of operating rooms.

She woke up and found herself in a clear tube floating in some sort of fluid
with a mask of some sort covering her mouth and nose and electrodes all
over her body. Sanchez was in a tube also but seemed to still be unconscious. The people outside the tube noted that Bridget was now awake and flashed a sign telling she had four more days before she could come out of the tube. Bridget nodded that she understood even as she
wondered how Sanchez was doing.

Evey gave him a nod and swung the car around, grinning like a cheshire cat.

"Whatever you say, boss."

As Evey drove, she remembered things from her past, remembering the innocence that was so faint in her mind now. That one little inch of her that she had kept safe all these years. It had been hard, keeping a bit of sanity and still being able to dive off of skyscrapers and trusting the power of being a vampire to keep you safe.

Evey sighed, glancing over at Dorian.

He was so lucky...

Dorian caught Evey's glance at him and smiled slightly. He had seen it a number of times and always thought about a few cliche phrases that would be the only things to illistrate the look, but never deliver the full impact it would have to.

"Want me to show you the stab wound from a transexual vampire that tried to rape me?"

A huge grin on Dorians face as he said this.

Tokeru slapped himself on the head, He had forgotten savage. He booted up his com, and got through to savages mini amplifier. It amplified the sound of the Tiger when he growled, and also allowed Tokeru to speak through it. "Meet me at the chapterhouse boy. You know the way, and if you don't, just follow my stench." Since the speaker was only one way, he could not hear the tiger's response. Not that it mattered anyway, since the tiger was long gone from the residential area and was almost at the chapterhouse.

The beauty of a car zipped through the city streets, swerving from lane to lane at a riveting 140 mph. A few police tried to pull him over, but they soon lost the car, along with a helicopter. In just a few minutes, he activated the garage door, tinted the windows to prevent the UV lights from the bases' lamps from getting through, and drove casually into the lift at the chapterhouse.

((Exit to chapterhouse))

Bridget woke up from her sleep and was told that theywere ready to purge
the tube; she nodded that she understood. She also understood that they had put her out with some sort of sedative for the last four days. In a way she didn't like that but she understood why they did it. The technican at a
control panel pushed several buttons and the tube was flushed of the fluid
and opened up when all of the fluid was gone.

Bridget was given a blanket to cover herself as another technican removed
the electodes from her. "Welcome back to the world of the living." said a man in a dark suit as he walked to her. She recognized the man known only as Mr. Ashe to her but knew he was connected to the NSA or an illegal
off-shoot. "Nice place you got here... how is Sanchez doing." Ashe said
"He's doing fine its just that he dosen't have your accelerated healing, so
it will take a few days more before he is fit enough." "You on the other hand are fit...you can hardly see the scars now from your wounds." Mr.
Ashe said "Your clothes and weapons are in one of the guest suites; you may stay until Sanchez is purged or leave and come back when he's ready." Bridget looked at Mr. Ashe and said "I'll stay and leave with Sanchez..just show me to my room." Mr. Ashe spoke to a couple of people
and they came over to Bridget and took her to the guest suite.

Salo found the alley with ease, it reaked of who ever Saylis' smelled like. He studied the alley and made a face when he found the skin that had come from one of the men's arms. He shook it from his hand and sat down staring at the piece of flesh.

Zzeill saw him out of the corner of her eye as he spoke. Bowing her head she looked at her shoes, and the bottom hem of her jacket.
"Oh, then.... where will you stay?"
She asked looking up to him again. She would offer her home, but Finn would never allow it, and she would put money on the fact the Alpha wouldnt be that happy either. Moving closer she gently wrapped her arm around his waist, carful of the wounds.

As if on reflex, he did the same thing as Zzeill, wrapping his arm around her waist, as well. Ein chuckled, "Well, part animal as I am, I have no problem sleeping in trees. I've got enough instinct to survive." The thought of living trees, ideal as it was, brought up a thought. "Guess I'll be returning to Haven more often than I thought, a guy's gotta eat, y'know." Zzeill's care to avoid his wounds didn't go without notice. She really cares about me... Ein thought softly, Finn's going to flip. He smiled on the inside at that thought. The repercussions would be drastic, but it would be worth it for two reasons: to be by Zzeill's side and to see the look on Finn's face when she found out. Grinning, Ein spoke again. "Speaking of, want to get something to eat?"

Smiling as the image of him sleeping in a tree like a jaguare came into her head she looked at him.
"Well, we could get you a house out in the city. Or rent a hotel for a few days."
She offered again. As he brought up food she nodded slightly. No one could go without food. Not even the vampires could, or so she thought. She didnt know much about them nor did she care. Noticing his smile she smiled back in a wicked way.
"What are you thinking?"
She said in a wicked voice to match her smile. At his comment of food Zzeill nodded again, but her idea probably wasnt what he would be willing to eat.
"Alright. What do you want?"
She asked. Better for him to pick than for her to say the nearest Mcdonalds drive through worker.
