Ceon growled deeply, hearing the tainted talk to Layna. "Never.........touch.......... Layna!!!!" Ceon screamed as he twisted around, splashing holy water from the flask at the tainted.

Maximilian hissed at the demon who had somehow slipped by him. "Speedy b*****d!" He jumped off a nearby tree trunk and rebounded onto the demon in an attempt to tackle him to the ground.

Layna vanished then reappeared several feet away Daiguren stood in front of Vosa. "I told you there my pray" stopping any of the water form hitting him with his spear head he stood there.

Layna shuddered as metal touch her. She turned her head, her eyes flickering red. She felt her hair stand on end, her mouth filling with sharp canines. She scrambled back from the melee of the fight. She stopped as moonlight striked her full in the face. "Why does this always seem to happen..." She whispered, closing her eyes. She felt a prayer echo throughher mind, hoping that Ceon would be alright, that everything would be alright.

He tumbled as he hit the ground and quickly sprang up. He tackled the demon going after Ceon.

"Now now, what's the problem here? We're both Tainted, and speedy ones at that. Let's just rip these lycan to pieces and then go out for coffee? My treat." Vosa ran at Maximilian, and slashed horizontally.

He noticed the flicker of metal and instinctively put up his sword in an attempt to parry the attack from the speed demon. He blocked most of the blow, but the tip of the blade made a semi-deep cut into his left thigh. Maximilian endured the pain but knew that he would have to limp now. "Damn it..."

"You fight an enemy whim I've already precised with two silver blades and interrupt my duty. Do you fight only those who you are told are an enemy?" He showed no care about the attack on the vampire. In fact he showed no sign of any other emotion other then anger.

Vosa spun, and didn't chase after the person. "We, the tainted, are at war with the Lycan. They feed on human flesh. I do as I am told."

"Your just like them purposely serving something thats not even your own. I don't care about wars, or who eats who, but those two are my pray and if you intend on getting in the way of my spear your no more then a pawn who can't think for him self." He stood there facing his fellow speed demon but it was easy to tell the difference between the two of them.

He sighed for a second. "I don't care about your prey, in the same way you don't care about my enemies. I don't like Lycans. You can have these ones, I just want them dead." He sprinted backwards a few feet, and sheathed his swords.

He limped between Ceon and Lyna and strongly held out his sword in the remaining demon's direction. He seemed to be ignoring the bleeding gash on his thigh.
