*Shortstraw came down stairs and poped into the kitchen, "first off you are going to eat. OUr promes still stands, i eat, you eat. You eat, i eat. That was the deal. So eat. Also donte refusses to go, he's having alittle snappy tantrum. I guess i'll go see if veria wants to go." He smiled and walked up the stairs again and knocked on the door as veria stopped what she was doing, "i would not enter... who is it... what do you want..." Shortstraw had a delayed reaction, "ummm... it's shortstraw. Were going out to look at dresses and suits for the wedding. A family little outing... donte dosn't really want to go but..." Suddenly veria got up and pushed cale off as she poped her head out the door, "yes i'll send Charlett and Cale down soon to join you." He looked to her confussed, "wait... i asked if you wanted to go." Veria shied as her black mass covered he body and she gave cale time to put on his pants, "actully... i can't go to the wedding so i have no need for a dress..." Shortstraw looked to her conffused, "wait... your not going?"

Cale grumbled. "Urgh. Suit shopping instead of this? Kill me now." However in the corner of the room he spotted Charlotte turn around and smirked at him. He frowned further as he slipped on his shirt. "Even worse, stuck with her." Charlotte seemed happy at least. He swore she just lived to torment him.
Evelyn smiled. "See. Now eat." Kiera glanced wearily to the sandwich and frowned. "I'm really not hungry.. And uh.. if I'm trying on dresses, won't I need to have an empty stomach?" Evelyn scoffed. "Oh please. Like a sandwich is going to effect your waist." Evelyn picked up the sandwich and ripped a bit off to feed to Kiera. "Now eat." Kiera did so reluctantly. Evelyn smiled warmly to her. "Your dress is going to have to be really flamboyant. You are a princess after all. And a soon to be queen."

*Veria shied sadly and stepped out, "shortstraw... i would give anything in the world to be there on that day... though there are two things stopping me from going. One is the fact... well i never wanted to see you two get married... i still like you so it's alittle painful but happy at the same time. And i decided it would still be great to go but... becuse it's a public thing." She looked sadly to the floor, "i cant attend becuse the public will know and or figure out that we lied to them and stuff, or they would see me as evil and cast me away or whatever. I'm a evil snake women remember, the people of this city saw me get banished... hell the whole country saw that. I can't go even though i wanted to. But it's okay... i'll just sent cale and charrlet and i'll see it though them... and you... and keria... and... donte." It upsetted her, but she guessed it was better then telling her sister that. Shortstraw would at least take i better as eve was coming out and down the stairs, "oh boy." She ignored any comments form veria and headed into the kitchen for a glass of milk, "going out for dresses up." She chukkled, "should be fun depending where you go. I suggest you go to Nura city, they have a better selection there for you." She spun around and took a sip, "is the cat feeding you a sandwhich..." she laughed, "the things you see in this house."

Kiera scowled. "You should be used to this kind of thing by-" Evelyn stuffed more sandwich into her mouth. "Yeah yeah, keep eating princess." Kiera grumbled but did as she was told. Evelyn chuckled. "The fact that Kiera is actually wearing a dress today will make this so much easier." Kiera pulled a face. "You know this wasn't what I was thinking when I put on this dress." Evelyn grinned. "Then what were you thinking? Wanted people to think you looked cute?" Kiera scowled. "As if I needed that. The town fawn over me enough as it is."

*Eve chukkled as she nodded, "keria... i wanna ask you a question. A serious one." She put her glass of milk down, "it's appearint the weddings going to be soon. Which is fine and all, but there was somthing... i promesed to someone. As your older sister, i'm to guide you and decide when your ready for me to putthe crown on your head. So let me ask." She walked over to the table and leaned alittle, "do you really want to be queen of the country yet. Do you feel your ready? You can still get married, and not obtain the crown. Thanks to me and donte. Well... not me really... i'm sorta... not suppost to be where i'm at now. See the public think i'm actully a biological sister to you, i am to a point but not fully thanks to be born form one of yujis sides instead of yuji. I can't be queen. Veria cant be queen cuse she's a deamon. That leaves you or donte. I'm more then happy to care on as i am untill either of you are ready but... i'll be honist sis. I dont see you doing well right now as a queen." She shrugged and turned for her milk on the counter, "figured i would ask instead of persume."
meanwhile shortstraw looked down, "i... you can... we will find a way." Veria shook her head, "not without messing with the pubic. Keep in mind, i eat them everyday in mutable areas to stay alive... they know that. I'm evil in there eyes, i cant be seen there after the play keria and i put on here a while back. I'm sorry shortstraw. Please tell keria for me." She patted his head and went back inside, before sending charrlet and cale out the door. At this point shortstraw was heading back into the kitchen to find evelyn shoivng the last of the sandwhich in kerias mouth. "thanks evelyn." he smerked and gave wink.

Kiera chuckled a little. "I'll be fine sister. I can handle myself now. I can handle being queen." Evelyn snickered as she moved away with the empty plate. "Pffffft yeah right." Kiera raised an eyebrow. "What was that?" Evelyn chuckled and put the plate on the side. "Nothing your majesty." She said mockingly with a small bow. Cale trudged into the room with his hands in his pockets looking grumpy while Charlotte trailed in happily after him. Kiera spotted Cale and laughed. "You're looking sorry for yourself. Glad to see you're so enthusiastic for the trip." She messed up his hair like a little kid. She then looked behind them. "Where's Veira?" Evelyn frowned suddenly. "I feel an abundance of a small one." She grunted. "Oh jesus, Kiiro's gone and got herself lost in the castle, hasn't she. She can't find herself around by tracing walls she'll just be going in circles." Evelyn moved out the kitchen. "I'm just going to go find her."

*Shortstraw nodded to evelyn ,"okay. You can meet us later, she will need a dress too." he then shied, "welll... she sent cale and charllet to come with us to get there stuff instead becuse... well veria feels she cant go tot he wedding. She says she dosn't need a dress." He pushed out the words as if expecting to get slapped int he head for each word. If anything he figured this would ruin her good mood. "i try to tell her we could figure it out but... she says its becuse fo the pubic hating her or somthing. I didn't fully get it. She's pretty persistant." He scrated the back of his neck. "And as i said donte refusses to come out right now." He shied. "but dontes eaiser i figured we could dangle a donut infront of him or send lilly in. I asked her to go talk to him about going.
Infact lilly was just enterign the room ,"MASTER!" She put her hand on her hips, "you should stop your moaning. Good things are happing and you missing it. Also shortstraw mentioned afterwords they are going out for a all you can eat buffet and i'm not cooking tonight becuse i plan on going." She suddenly jumped dodging a sneezing vampire. "though i'm not sure we should take her..."

Kiera slowed down a little. Only a little. "Oh." She smiled weakly then turned away. "Okay." Evelyn soon came back into the room directing Kiiro in front of her. "She was in your bedroom, Shortstraw." Kiiro giggled a little. "I got a little lost, and it smelled familiar." Evelyn took her hand. "Stick with me now, okay? At least you didn't accidentally slip into one of the secret rooms." Kiiro nodded happily. "Oh I did. I just got out." Evelyn sighed. "What am I going to do with you..." Charlotte thought that Evelyn holding Kiiro's hand like that looked cute, however when she looked up to Cale's ugly mug she suddenly got demotivated again. Without Veira she had no one to suck up for, and so tormenting Cale was the only thing left on her day to day schedule.
Dante grumbled however was very tempted. He thought about it. "You're just saying that to get me to come out." He scoffed. "I'm not that stupid. I can't be convinced with food." However that statement was obviously weak."

*Lilly walked over and actuly flipped up the bed, "get your little butt out of there. your sister and futcher brother are waiting for you. Now get dressed and hurry up." She demained, "ant no master of mine missing my first master first doughters wedding!" She seemed to be vary tempted to make him but of course she wouldn't if he stood aginst it, "besides if you dont go now with them, then that means it's just you and me later, and I really like dressinga man in a lot of suits.So you get a choice, ware one suit twice, or a whole lot of suits. Oh and if you go tonight you get all you can eat." She crossed her arms whats it gonna be?"
Eve however shied, "i still dont think your ready keria. We're talk more later." He turned and head up the stairs, "you all have fun okay." Meanwhile shotstraw chukkled and patted kirros head, "dont worry when keria and evelyn and eveyln are trying on dresses you stick with me. So you be with me or your sister. You can trust me, i promes." He chukkled and patted her head, "comon lets get started already. Everyone latch on to keria, so we can teliport and dont have to walk!"

Kiera was about to teleport them all when Dante suddenly showed up the the doorway, looking as grumpy as Cale was. However Cale laughed at the mirror of his face. "Com'on kid. We can sneak off when they're not looking." He grinned with the Cale charisma. Dante suddenly lightened up as he joined the group. Evelyn scoffed. "Yeah, fat chance. I'll attach a collar and lead for both of you if I have to." Cale and Date both shuddered at the thought Kiera then teleported them to the centre of Nura. A busy place. And Kiera didn't very much like that. Evelyn put her hand on Kiera's head with a grin. "Oh I'm going to have fun with you~" Kiera swallowed hard and tried to edge away and blend into the crowd. However she stuck out like a sore thumb. Bright yellow hair, thin blue dress and sandles that intertwined halfway up her legs. Her definitive Kiera look wasn't present but it was obvious as hell that it was her. Cale poked Dantes forehead and grinned. "Stick with me kid. I'll show you how to make this fun." Cale was, in all honesty, definitely not the best role model for Dante. However there wasn't really much choice in the matter. To Dante, Shortstraw was too lost in his own little world. And this Cale guy seemed like fun, especially for a mischievous kid as himself.

*Veria voice appeared in cales head, "i'm watching you with my little brother, you know i care more for him then anyone. So just dont go overboard okay. Dont get too bad and make me go there..." she threatened in his head, meanwhile she was sadly sitting on her bed alone. Almost everyone in the house was gone now. She shied, "sometimes it's just want the serpent girl has to do..." she held up a story book in her hands called, "the boy and the evil serpent girl." It was a story about a boy obviously that found a serpent girl, and to protect him the serpent girl had to give everything she had away. And in the end she lost him to someone else. It was a sad childrens story, but she charished it. It was something she had takeing a liking too back in her stealing days. She smiled though, "it wont be that bad. I would be uncomfortable around all the squishys anyways... all the food walking around." She giggled to herself as she turned around to find somthing to do as she pulsed finding Percilla in her room. She blinked, "how... did you get in here... what do you want... you moved from that chair... again." Percilla just looked to her blinking. Veria then glared back with a blank face, "is there somthin i can do for you?"
meanwhile shortstraw chukkled, as he thought to evelyn. 'I'm beginging to think your a lesbien... which would explain alot... admitt it.' but he wouldn't dare say that outloud.

Once Evelyn had grabbed Kiera from the crowd she left Kiiro in Shortstraw's care and dragged Kiera into a wedding gown store. 'I don't really like labels like that. And I can't be lesbian if I'm not attracted to anyone, Shortstraw.' Kiera did not like being fawned over like this. By both Evelyn and the store people. They were of course informed about Kiera and Shortstraw's engagement. The whole city was. They just looked overjoyed that the princess had come into their store. Asking Kiera lots of uncomfortable questions was something Kiera could deal with. But them taking her in a separate room and actually undressing her was a little less tolerable. Kiera was polite however. A little shy in places, which would make the shop assistants giggle. And Evelyn did most of the picking of dresses. And most of the putting them on her. There was something uncomfortable about the person Evelyn had turned out to be. With each passing day Kiera felt that Evelyns true personality was coming through, and she was breaking her demon mould to become and actual person again. She disturbingly reminded Kiera of Hikari in places. Like how Evelyn was persistant on feeding her. And how Evelyn was helping her now with the dresses. Acting almost like her mother. No, not a mother. Like a friend. A close girl friend. She guessed she didn't think about that. She didn't know how she felt about it yet.
Dante, Cale, Charlotte and Kiiro stood in front of Shortstraw. "You know little man I think you'd look good in a suit." Dante pulled a face and sounded unamused. "Really.." Cale snickered and put on a stereotypical English accent. "Why yes, quite spiffing actually. Like a man." Dante's eyes sparkles a little. "Like a man? Really?" Cale chuckled and gave Shortstraw a look of approval before looking back to Dante. "Of course. All the best men wear suits."

*Shortstraw nodded, "it shows a mans true colors sometimes too." He nodded, "it makes you look good and clean, and fancy. So cales right. Which is why i have to ware one..." He smerked, "but dont tell keria and evelyn, "i'm seriously not wareing the pants that day, i'm going to buy a pair of pants, and swap to shorts at the last moment." He snickered as he let them into a store, holding kirros hand, "if you need anything at all Kiiro let me know okay. I'm still going to need to get used to you." he chukkled. meanwhile he looked to Charrlet, "and sinc eyour the only girl you get to tell us if we look good or not." He looked to donte, "your first." Lilly nodded, "i got some things to look for the wedding since i'm seeting up. Master if you need anything let know. I leave him in your hand Mr Shortstraw." She turned and left as he nodded, "lets get this over with." He chukkled and carfully led them, mainly kiiro withe carfully part, into a mans fancy tux store. However as people woule suddenly latch to donte, the great prince of yokai, shortstraw gave cale the job of body gaurd. However shortstraw himself had charrlet and kirro to back him up if they messed with him. "Alright Donte, what do you like better, black, brown, or grey?" He smerked, "i'm going all black." He nodded. meanwhile he thought to evelyn, 'that means yes dosn't it. which means my opionion on your earlyer really didn't mean anything to you. It's fine and all, i just wanted to know so i dont make you uncomfortable. I too like to joke, but i'm not that bad.' he thought to her as he picked out dontes close and asked him try them on.

This was what it felt like the longest time in Kiera's life. Even longer than the time she spent in Paradioa's coffin. The dresses seemed to never stop coming. And Evelyn wanted to see her wear them all. They range from poofy ones to thin ones. Long ones to short ones. And decorated ones to plain ones. Kiera really didn't care what dress she had. 'Shortstraw I just said that I couldn't be one. Where are you getting all this from? Seems like you've got a fixed image in your mind, eh?' Evelyn tormented him. 'A wedding is a time to make a girl feel like a princess.' Well what if the girl was already a princess? The shop clearly didn't think about their phrases well enough. Dress after dress, Kiera tolerated putting them on, turning in the mirror, taking it off and trying on a different one. Eventually Evelyn had narrowed it down to two. One with a little colour. One without. She left it to Kiera to decide. But Kiera couldn't really have cared less. So they bought both of them. But they weren't done there. Still on the same store, Evelyn announced, "Now onto shoes." Kiera let out the most unladylike grunt.
Dante frowned. "You can have different colours?" He looked confused. Cale snickered. "That's right. You got the choice of boring, terribly boring or gobsmackingly boring! Choose wisely little man. These photos are going to be everywhere." Dante sulked. "I guess grey then." Cale grinned. "Good choice. That's what I was going to go for." Grey was perfect for Cale. No exception. Kiiro giggled. "Dante should have a bowtie. He'd look cool in a bowtie." Charlotte nodded. "I agree with you there demon." Cale stroked his chin. "I dunno. You gotta have a chunky body to pull that off." Dante and Charlotte stared at Cale for a second, confused. Cale shrugged. "I used to be the personal guard for the president of Japan. I had to go to a lot of fancy events, you know? I got experience with these things."

*Shortstraw chukkled, "i dont see the harm in a bowtie rather then a long tie. Besides teh ladys have spoke." He smiled as he nodded and handed donte a grey one, "i think this will fit you. Not too sure so your have to try it on. Luckily it come in all one big set. Cale you go with him, while i get mine." He smiled. He then turned and and looked to Charrlet, "i need alittle help here. What do you think really stands out." he however still had hold of kiiros hand, "you know i wonder what your be wareing kiiro, your probably look cute in anything." He chukkled as he would follow charrlet as she would pick somthing for shortstraw. He figured maybe he could get someone else opioion, maybe hoping that would make things more spechal too." the then continued his conversation with evelyn, 'well sooner or later your going to find someone, your the love matcher remember. Besides, we have almsot 5000 years to fine some for you and ant none of going to age much.' he chukkled, 'but from a guys side of things. You are a vary butiful girl... you should take alittle pride in that... but still my questions stands. If you did have to choose which would it be, man, or women? Or both, thats a option too... i'll support whatever.' he tormented back. he wasn't going to drop this, he would just ask in a diffrent way over and over again.
