The walk into this place as above their head ...the first sign of a more modern day technology hung in the top and side of the walls. Lights, lights that gave the place a more eye catching look as the tail of a plan jutted out of one wall and out of the other ...was a boat made of wood.
Here they would find him sitting in the middle of the pathway. Eyes that seemed strangely cold as he smiles at them both.
They weren't about to advance forward easily ....as he stood up ...the teeth on the back of his head grinning as he brushes off imaginary dust from his shoulders.
He had been waiting a long time for a good fight, and he was ready to deal with it now.

Dreiden tilted his head at the Pokemon. He didn't seem to want to move, not without a fight anyway. Doug sighed, trying to reason with it would probably end up getting him and his Deino hurt. So would the battle. "Lets get this over with... Dreiden, Tackle." The Deino obeyed and rushed forward. The Pokemon would hopefully make the same move and rush forward too.

It was almost as if the pokemon moved without making a single movement as the pokemon's fist would come into close contact with the Deino face as he used Thunderpunch. His entire arm crackling with his power as he swung ...he was going to meet that tackle with his power, and if he strong enough it would be the Deino that was hurting from their meeting.
A smile was on his face, because, as far as he was concern ...this was the life. A true life ....of battle.

Dreiden would hit the Mawile's chest and almost bounce off. The attack barely seemed to phase the steel-type but at least his Thunder punch barely effected the Deino, right? Doug then called for Dreiden back to in front of him. As the Pokemon obeyed, he stood on the defensive. His head was lowered to take whatever attack came at him on the forehead.

(Correct, though normal attacks for a steel is reduced by 1/2, which is pretty much 0.5 rounds to 1)
The hit was slight as the Mawile seemed a bit surprised that he had missed. His feet sliding backwards as he was knocked back a bit, and the pokemon in front of him ran towards his trainer to stand in a defensive pose in front of the boy. Yet, the Mawile wasn't willing to let him escape as he would race after that retreating back ...even as the pokemon turned back around to face him again ...that Thunderpunch would once more sparkle in the pokemon's face as he struck.

The attack would hit and sting Dreiden as he shook his head. He was now in range of attacking the Mawile head on as he lowered his head and took a step back. When taking his step forward, the Deino thrust his head into the Mawile's face. It was a short range tackle but still a Tackle none-the-less.

The attack would hit, but it wasn't all that happen ...as flicks of electricity ran up and down the Deino skin. He had been paraylzed ...a fact that would effect his up and coming attack as the Mawile would skip to the side in it's attempt to dodge. It was going to let the pokemon go past him and then be quick to follow up the attack with another ....thunderpunch.
Yes, this battle would end quickly for him .....and he couldn't help the smile that continued to grace his face.

The boy froze when he heard all the noise. There was a chirping sound from all around along with the rustling of leaves. He glanced up and then immediately regretted the action. There was a whole flock of Archen, just ready to attack. Using Kai to battle all of them would be pointless..so he did the only thing he could do. .Nyx was annoyed. Was that really all his partner was going to do? Shaking his head, he lunged forward preparing to tackle the Nuzleaf in hopes of distracting the attack from landing on Kyo. Just because this was a competition didn't mean he couldn't save the Zangoose every once in a while. If he died, all the fun would be gone. What was the point of that? The Zangoose raced away, thinking his speed would protect him. The mongoose was naturally a fast pokemon and so that's what he could rely on. He wasn't worried about being hurt at all. His back was turned to the attack which was what could make him vulnerable. Running might of provoked them, but walking away wasn't exactly taking the child out of their line of sight. Tilting their heads at their own pace, the Archen would slowly follow after the child, taking each step as if cautiously approaching the boy. They outnumbered him to be certain, but he was still certainly larger then them by far.
It would be an act of poor luck which would oddly do the child the most good. One false steps, and the ground would abruptly give way beneath the child, taking down both him and a nearby bush.
The earth had been loose and unsteady here, a rather steep drop obscured by the trees and bushes of the area. Lyuk would fall a good fifteen feet, landing in a thick mesh of leaves, twigs, and mud. Luckily it seemed the Archen weren't particularly keen on following the boy...though one had to speculate as to why...

The boat landed and the girl got off. Golden orbs quickly scanned the area. Well this was where they had to complete their first mission. She put her Charmander down and wondered what they encounter first. It was definitely a place where wild pokemon roamed, she doubted finding many humans around. There could possibly be other new trainers such as herself though. The mission was to find a rare bone and to get another pokemon added to her team. Alright, sounded fairly simple as she began walking.

Continuing to back away, he didn't realize that the ground wasn't solid. Suddenly losing his footing as the ground collapsed, he grabbed onto the bush. Together they tumbled a good steep drop until landing in a heap on the ground. Covered in mud, twigs and leaves, he emerged unscratched and well it was better then becoming bird food. A few minutes later, he had gotten most of the debris off of him. There was still some mud on his pants but that could easily be solved later. He looked around for Kai but the Emolga was perfectly fine. Watching him curiously, after making sure Lyuk was clean, flew down and landed on his shoulder. The blonde haired boy couldn't blame the flying squirrel and so it was just time to be on their way.
