Icestorm flicked her ears as she heard Cloverkit's familiar yowl. "Yo..." She called to the kit. She stood up and stretched, then sat down. Her fur ruffled and uneven, not that she'd care. She rolled her shoulders, her muscles rippling, and her claws flexed upon the ground. "What's going on?" She asked, a calm look to her blue eyes.

I closed my eyes and the flash back starts.
I'm standing there, on a balcony of summer air. [Cloverkit pricked her ears. She looked over at Icestorm and ran to her.]"Hi Icestorm! I just got back from dropping Bramblekit off in Seaclan with Featherheart. Plus, she told me to apologize you everyone I was mean to.. So.. I'm sorry, Icestorm." Romeo save me, I've been feeling so alone.
I keep waiting for you but you never come!
Is this in my head I don't know what to think.
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring.

Icestorm simply nodded. "I see..." She bent her head and licked the kit's ears gently, the way a mother would. "It, wasnt really your fault. You loved Bramblekit and you didnt know any better. I had treated you harshly and I shouldnt have done so. I apologize, my sweet." She said as she licked the kit on and between the ears.

lifted Cloverkit and unto her back. "The best warrior any clan has ever
seen." She said, as she stood, Cloverkit getting a better view of the
clan. "Yeah? Well, i'm sure you could ask Silverstar about that..."
She said.

Icestorm let out a mrow of laughter. " Yeah?Here, i
wanna show you something... I found it while I was out hunting..." She
headed out of camp. She was careful, so that Cloverkit didnt fall. Soon
they came across a pond, near a very small waterfall. Icestorm padded up
the ledge. There were flowers surrounding the area. A gentle breeze
blowing through. "So? What do you think?" She asked Cloverkit.

Cut thistles in May,
They'll grow in a day;

[Burrpelt twitched his whiskers in amusement. He watched Ceaderpaw stalk off towards a squirrel.] "Nice catch." [he mewed, impressed. Squirrels were nice prey. He flicked his tail and looked at Skywhisker.] "Guess they're okay." That is too soon;
Cut them in July,
Then they will die.

water is pure and fresh... its like an ongoing river. It will never get dirty.
Those flowers... those flowers grow and regrow day after day. They will
remain fresh. This place, is amazing... and its a secret. Someone very
special to me once showed me this place, and sung me a lullaby... care to
hear it?" She asked the kit.

took a deep breath, then sang:

A bed of grass, a soft green pillow

Here it's safe, here it's warm
Here the daisies guard you from every harm
Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I love you..."
Icestorm closed her eyes as she remebered the rest:
"Deep in the meadow, hidden far away
A cloak of leaves, a moonbeam ray
Forget your woes and let your troubles lay
And when again it's morning, they'll wash away.
Here it's safe, here it's warm
Here the daisies guard you from every harm
Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I love you."
Icestorm finished and the place fell silent. The entire place was at peace.
