"I haven't met him personally, but I've passed by him a few times in Haven. All of which he was arguing with someone." When she brought up the counter to his earlier comment, that made him think of something. "Well, that's how things work around here. Compared to the leaders of the Hunters and the leaders of all the creatures of the night, we're merely statistics." It was the sad truth, really. He laughed when he heard her mention Finn's attitude. "And, on another note, catching Finn in a better mood sounds like a great idea. Apparently she wasn't too happy about something tonight."

Dropping her hand off of his she would cross her arms over her chest.
"Sounds nice."
She joked, tone think with sarcasm. Listening to him, she would have laid her ears back on her skull had she been in wolf form, but she wasnt, so instead she moved her head back and down. It was probably the sad truth, but not much they could do about it.
"Yeah probably. But at least I am alive. As long as thats true, I dont care what others think of me."
She said in a harsh tone compared to how she had talked so far tonight. She didnt care for his hand on her shoulder, it was actually quite nice to know that he wouldnt shrink from her like other have.
"Yeah, she will be better tomorrow night. I think I might have done something she didnt like. How would you feel if your friend was talking to your enemy and getting on? I probably wouldnt like it much either."
She said. Probably why she tried not to gain enemies, speaking with people was so much eaiser that way.

He couldn't help but smile at that comment. He placed his other hand on her other shoulder, almost laughing. "And that's the perfect answer. We're alive and that's all that matters." Removing his hands from her shoulders, he placed one on his chin and another one behind his head. "Hm...good question. Yeah, I'd say I wouldn't like it much, either. Well other than befriending Finn, which is looking like it's going to be hell in a handbasket in itself, anything you can think of that would make Finn accept our friendship, you and I?" At about this time, he noticed that his side itched. Nothing big, he hoped.

Zzeill smiled at him as he spoke the first time.
"Of course its the right answer. I am never wrong."
She sadi jokingly and then laughed. It was a whole hearted laugh too, not her normal half hearted ones she had been giving lately. As he took his hands from her shoulders she would let her harms hang to her sides, sticking her thumbs into her pockets.
"I cant think of anything. I dont even think she would accept it if we got married..."
She paused after that, feeling awkward after saying it and wishing she hadnt. Without actually moving she seemed to shrink away from him, as if it would get her away from the comment itself.
"I am sorry. I believe that was uncalled for."
She said in a small tone, not believeing she had said what she said.

The comment caught Ein off guard possibly even more than it caught Zzeill herself off guard. That was a bit of an off-the-wall comment. It felt like his heart skipped a beat or two with the suddenness of the comment. Inadvertently, the comment also could've hinted at something, but a something that eluded the Hunter at the moment. If he could blush nervously, he definitely would've. He placed his hand on her shoulder again.
"Ah, don't be. Even if it was unintentional, I'm flattered." He couldn't help but smile.

The lycan loked down at the floor, or in this case, the roof as the stood in that awkward scilence that she so hated. When his hand touched her shoulder she could not help but jump slightly. She would continue to look at the roof, wishing she had the ability to go invisible at this point, untill he spoke anyway. She looked up from the roof a moment to him and gave a half hearted smile.
"Uh, your welcome?"
She said unsure what to say. Her ears became itchy and when she went to itch them she realized why, they had started to change into wolf ears. But catching this she forced the back to normal and laughed nervously.
"Heh, sorry. Guess I am a bit nervous now. It will pass."
She said looking for something else to talk about. Looking at his wounds she looked intently on them.
"How are those fairing?"
she asked pointing to this side.

"Well, they itch. So I suppose that's one feeling I still have." Ein still had yet to figure out why he felt no pain from these injuries. First he thought that his natural feeling of pain had somehow been rid of like so many other emotions that seemed nonexistent. But that theory was shot down when he realized that he felt pain from getting half his face destroyed, the four long gash scars on his arm, and from the gut kick he got from Finn. Then he thought that maybe a piece of metal had severed a vital nerve somewhere that transmitted pain. He found that highly unlikely, though. All the vital nerves, particularly the one that transmits pain, are located in the brain. Then the simplest thing occurred to him. He remembered the piece of information from the anatomy class he was taking before he was summoned for the experimenting. He learned that if the human body sustained a serious injury, like the puncture in his side and the gashes on his back, the brain shuts down the surrounding nerves, saving the mental strain of serious pain. Well, that was a good thing to know, he supposed. He took a seat again on the cold concrete of the roof. "What's to be nervous about?" Ein asked, even though he very clearly knew the answer.

Begotten Vengence
Fate could sense the self-doubt in this man. It made her grin on the inside, but she was not about to become too cocky before the bat escaped the sunrise.
"Who, me?" Fate's accent dripped from every word. "No, this is not dangerous. I can take care of myself, thanks." She shifted abit on the bench as he spoke.
"Sunrise," she said casually. "Well, I was not waiting. If you had not come along, I was preparing to go home." She stood and shrugged, still casual and calm about the subject. "Personally, I like watching the sun set, not rise. You are not much of a romantic, are you, sir?" She grinned softly, making a joke of it. "And besides, I should be getting what hour and a half of sleep I can tonight..or this morning, whichever. I have a long day ahead of me."

Svoron noticed her accent "You don't seem to come from around here, may I ask where you come from?" Svoron asked politly "Svoron also stood up, perhapse I could give you a ride home?" Svoron saw her confience had grown and she tried to control the sytuation now "You might be able to take care of yourself but it still dangerous to take the public transportation and the car is much more confortable"

Kerrigan had left her bike on a corner somewhere, having thought that maybe it would be better for her to walk off the tension working its way through her at the moment. Should she go back to Haven? Maybe go kill something...perhaps that is what would make her feel better. Her black leather hunting outfit gleamed in the light as she shoved a man out of her way while walking down the sidewalk. Shouting something back at her, she didnt acknowledge it, turning the corner once more, to find herself in a dingy alleyway. Glancing up, she saw that someone had riased the fire escape ladder. With a grin, she backed up, and got a running start, seemign to run striaght up the wall to grab ahold of the lowest rung. Swinging her legs up, she got enough momentum to flip herself around so she could climb up the ladder, eventually finding herself on the ledge of the roof, looking down at the city.

As always, the mortals passed underneath the young huntress unaware of the danger that was lurking all around them. Would they ever thank her for protecting them? Absolutely not. Instead, she would be seen as a murderer because the supernatural she happened to kill was in its human form at the moment, giving her the appearance of a cold-hearted killer. Well....that was what she was quickly becoming...cold-hearted. She found herself now glaring at those beneath her, her fangs elongating as she felt the anger beginning to rise within her once more. Part of her was loving this new aggression...the other was ashamed of it. And so she sat in internal struggle, glowering down at those she had sworn to protect as a cool night breeze whipped around her.

Fate was very unsure about just handing out information about herself like this. But since it was only about the past, she thought, Meh, what could it hurt?
"Well, I have lived in New York since I was about ten or so. But I was born outside the States..In Tokyo, Japan." She ran her fingers through her hair. There, that's all he needs to know.
When Svoron mentioned a ride, Fate quirked a brow and scrunched her petite, pale nose. "Thanks, but no thanks. I do not take public transportation - I walk." She persed her lips for a moment. Was he coming onto her, or interragating her? "And besides, I don't even know your name, sir." Fate placed one hand on her hip in a slight disgust, still keeping on top of things mentally.

Finn had woken up only moments ago, fealing as if she had slept for days rather then a few hours she absolutely had to get up and move. So she threw some cloths on, grabbed her skateboard and was on the move.

It wasn't long before she was in the middle of the city where she had left the can of coins from her mini-show. Of corse she went looking down the ally for them. As she surched around she heard the clanking of someone hitting a fire escape.

Finn looked up just in time to see someone jump up the fire escape like a well sesoned acrobat...

Vampire.

Finn instantly smiled and watched as she climbed all the way to the top. once she was sure she wouldn't get caught halfway up the ladder she fallowed the vampire with a grin.

Even though she could not hear anything, a soft grin traced its way across her lips as she closed her eyes, playing it off as if she had no idea that someone was following her up the fire escape. Turning her attention to the moon, the opposite directions of the way the young lycan was crawling, she stifled a yawn with the back of her hand, flicking the safety off of her magnum that could not be seen by the ascending woman. Her eyes faded from their bright red to a deep crimson as she slowly lowered herself into a crouching position on the ledge.

careful not to make a sound as she slowly asended the fire escape, almost begging for trouble. She listened closely to her own footfalls to not make a sound, her own acute hearing picked up an out of place click that she couldn't instantly place. Finn stood on the next landing looking like a deer in the headlights as she tried to place where the sound had come from.

"Its not nice to follow people," she said softly, though she knew that in the roof, her voice would carry in the silence of the night air. It would be clear who she was speaking to, even if she did not look at the young lycan. She still kept ehr magnum in its holster, though her hand was always ready to draw should the need arise. She was usnure of teh girl's intentions, and that always made her a little uneasy.

Her head snapped up to look at the vampire who had done the acrobat act. She gave her an evil grin before responding.

"whoever said I was nice?"

If this girl wanted to dance she was more then happy to. Finn looked her streight in the eyes as she spoke, clearly she wasn't about to back down.
