Firestar just happened to look up just in time to dodge out of the way of the Crimson Dynamo attempting to slam a gauntlet on her. Dynamo's fist impacted on the concrete pulvering an area two feet wide. As Firestar backed away when Dynamo stood back up, shouts came from the Commissar's force as they made another charge at the police's line. Dynamo strode toward Firestar, "This ends now, Avenger."Angelica kept her distance from the heavily armored battlesuit, blasting him with firey blasts. While each blast did knock him back slightly, the Crimson Dynamo's defenses prevented the microwave blasts from doing any permanent harm, "You are not able to use your full potential this close to others, yes? Too afraid to burn your precious police over stopping me? You are weak."Angelica realized that Dynamo was too close to people for her to fire at him full blast. If she did, she'd fry dozens of people before she could burn through the Soviet-built battlesuit, I'll try to lead him away.Firestar readied herself to make another dodge, "Hey, whatever loser it is in that thing... You know, I've lost count how many have worn that thing and failed." Bukharin chuckled, "Nyet. No bite today. I had enough from the clown."Dynamo blasted at the lady Avenger with an electrical blast. Firestar dove to the side, but got hit by stray arcs from the lighning bolt -- managing to avoid the main blast. Pain agonized Firestar, dropping to one knee. Dynamo shook his head, "You Americans never learn." The red armored man chuckled as he aimed at Firestar knelt form.

((You saved our butts, now we save yours.))
Hex and Arell both put their guns to the back of Crimson Dynamo's head as quietly as they could. As the disfigured bounty hunter nodded, Arell smirked.
"Now if I was you, I'd put yer hands up before you git yer dinky li'l hockey mask blown off." Hex said coolly as Arell blew a smoke ring.
"Ehh, let's blast the sumbitch anyway. Dis sucka would look great mounted over de bar back at Rosie's!" the Cajun said, ready to roll.

((They don't know that . . . they just think it's some idjit in a mask. Don't kill 'em, but do shake 'em up a little bit. Give 'em a little hint to go get two bazookas and shoot without askin'.))

((Actually, do to Hex's time jumping he has special laser guns in the form of old western pistols. As for Arell, I think they may just be regular ones, but as far as Greasy goes, you'd have to ask him.
Hex's laser pistol would at best leave a good dent if he fired only once, more than once would puncture simply because a blast hurts Superman and he could rip Ironman's or Crimson Dynamo's armor off without much of a problem.))

((Well, if you put it that way, then HEX does . . . Arell just has the old standby six-gun. Personally I prefer the old West look. Classy yet rugged.))

The Crimson Dynamo turned and looked at both Arell and Hex and began to laugh, "What is this? The Wild West? And who are you supposed to be John Wayne and Clint Eastwood!?!? Mwahahaha!!!"While Dynamo was distracted, Firestar snuck out of sight of the battlesuited Soviet. From the blind side in the shadows, Jinx crept closer for a clear shot at the Crimson Dynamo. 'Batgirl was, however, was a bit unsure how big the 'splash' made from firing the Freeze Gun, That guy needs to be stopped, but I don't want to accidentally hit anybody else. Maybe I can get lucky, just once...

Jonah Hex pointed one of his special pistols under the Dynamo's chin plate.
"At least Clint and John have bigger balls than you'll ever git in this lifetlime, pilgrim! Hex growled and shot off a round from his mega pistol from the gun under the Dynamo's chin, hoping to knock that hockey-mask looking faceplate off his head.
Meanwhile, some of the Commie soldiers took to getting a little too close for Arell, who was focused on them, guns drawn. "Be right back, Hex! Go blow dat ol' jackass in tin's Commanis' Brains out!" he shouted and entered a five-to-one Barroom brawl.

When Hex fired, the laser burst knocked the Crimson Dynamo back. Reeling back in shock, Bukharin took immediate aim at Jonah Hex priming a plasma bolt. When 'Batgirl' saw the Crimson Dynamo stagger backward, Jinx took her shot, It's now or never. The load thrum from the Freeze Gun echoed for several blocks, while the Crimson Dynamo became coated in several feet of solid ice. Smirking, 'Batgirl' emerges from the shadows. ........ Looking at part of the charge by the Commissar's forces, FIrestar quickly thought of an idea. She immediately blasted an area of concrete in front of them -- softening a line of pavement into a sticky wet cement. The net result was a lot of the troopers getting stuck in the mess, with the wave directly behind tripping over the first.

Hex tipped his hat at 'Batgirl'. "Thank ya kindly, miss." he said and looked over at Arell. "Hey, 'Rell! How ya holdin' up?" the disfigured Cowboy asked.
From deep in the brawl, Arell heard the question. "Well hell, son! I'm makin' my best Palooka Joe in heah! 'Course, you jest take yer sweet-@$$ time gettin' in heah!!" Arell shouted amongst the cussing and fighting in the mutual English, the Cajun's French patois and the Commies' broken Russian.

Chris Brooks kept moving through the alleyways, going from shadow to shadow. The last thing he wanted was to be was to be caught between the cops and these communist troopers. Just as he got in sight of his Lincoln, Chris saw his car explode. Staring from a dark alleyway, the criminal witnesses a tank with a red star steamroll over the remains of his vehicle, "Well.... Ain't that some $#*%! Now, how am I get outta..." Another thought crossed his mind, "Guess it's time to cash in a favor." [Exit Chris Brooks to Iceberg Lounge]

Dr. Jeffery Yorkes was waiting out the insanity on Arkham when a package arrived at the door. Taking it from the mailman and closing the door, he walkedback to his chair to open it.
"What the..."
It was a yarmulke. He was Jewish, but he didn't wear these things on a daily basis, so it wasn't like he broadcast his religion to everyone. Still, he tried it on.
That, as it turned out, had been a mistake.
As soon as he had it in place, a new look, or more accurately an abscence of look, spread over his face. Dr. Yorkes, the specialist for several of Arkham's more dire patients, including the apparently delusional, criminally-inclined Jervis Tetch, known better as the Mad Hatter, was no longer in control of himself. He should have known better. Dr. Yorkes, unaware of anything that was happening to him, walked out the door, to the waiting figure of the Hatter, having just gotten out of costume.
"Come along, my Tweedledum. We don't want to miss the party."
The pair started walking towards the warehouses on the outskirts of Gotham, but not before a few tea leaves fell out of the Hatter's pocket, unbeknownst to their owner. Zhejiang green tea, imported from Hangzhou, China. He had been drinking it to stay somewhat in theme with his plan. Besides, it was good, too.
***
Dr. Langstrom had almost finished his apparently mindless work, which had now revealed itself to be based on a study of anomalous DNA, comparing Solomon Grundy and Waylon Jones, a.k.a. Killer Croc, to his own. Suddenly, he wrote a message in perfect print. Perfect, and perfectly backwards. Leaving it and almost all of his work out in the open, including the part that told whose DNA he had been studying, he took up a vial containing a chemical that had been the result of all his work, but the creation of which didn't appear anywhere on his notes. Whoever was pulling the strings wasn't leaving any OBVIOUS traces. Taking this chemical, and an unopened, encased syringe with him, Dr. Langstrom walked towards the warehouses.
The Mad Hatter's plan was coming together.

Lady Deathstrike found that the Romanian hideout being overrun with the Commissar's troops. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, I don't believe this. Why can't...."Hold it right there!" a trooper came around the corner with an assault rifle leveled at Yuriko. In a blink of an eye, Deathstrike extended her claws in an upward sweep. The trooper's head and upper chest dissappeared in a torrent of blood. Both severed arms dropped on the pavement followed by the rest of the unfortunate trooper body with a wet, meaty thunk. Snapping her claws back to normal, Deathstrike turned on her heels and strode away. Moving along one of the docks, Yuriko tossed the case containing the coke into the water -- keeping the briefcase carrying one hundred thousand dollars, Now, where do I go?A thought occured to her, The text.... Where did that Spider want to meet?......After rereading Eddie's text, she traced Brock's cell. Just before the trooper's buddies rounded the corner, Lady Deathstrike teleported to Eddie Brock's location. [Exit Lady Deathstrike to Sanctum Sanctorum]

Meanwhile, Hex realized what had happened. "You an' dem Ruskies, boy. Want me t' clear 'em out?" Hex asked, Arell got tossed out of the pile, beat to Hell, but still standing, swaggering, and onery.
"Naw, Hex, we's jes' havin' a tea party . . . time t' shoot 'em up!" he yelped, Hex and Arell dove into the middle of the Commies guns a-blazing.

Firestar and 'Batgirl' started to follow Hex and Arell; however, a rumbling noise began to grow louder, tremors shaking the ground through their feet. Batgirl looked around, "What the...." Suddenly as the noise rose to a crescendo, when a russian tank crunched through a burnt out shell of a building.... http://www.enemyforces.net/tanks/t90.htm
