Layna squeaked, her eyes downcast. She had done something bad, she realized. "I-I'm sorry...I didn't know..." Layna whimpered. She had never known that the voice was bad. It had protected her. No, the voice couldn't be bad. She narrowed her eyes slightly. "He can't be bad. He said he would help me...He didn't hurt me." She said, putting up a defense for whoever the voice, and person were.

"This Angel was controlling the mortal. He is only deceiving you. You say you had bad experiences with tainted. I don't want anything bad to happen to you." said Ceon, his tone worried and his eyes were shaky. "That voice has no good intentions for you or anyone else in the world." Ceon was now holding Layna in his arms, his words whispered in her ear.

Kruo saw Ceon and Linya in the distance and began to walk slower. "I guess I should take the role of the innocent, it works the most often." He raised the leg, now healed but his pants still showed wet blood, and limped toward the couple.

Layna closed her eyes, not knowing what to say. She felt an impulse to say the voice wasn't bad. "But..." She just let her voice die. There was no sense in speaking about it. She remembered the human, and the pipe that had nearly shattered her body. "It didn't want to hurt me...." She muttered.

Layna closed her eyes, crushed against Ceon's chest. She remembered the words that the voice had been said. 'I know you are scared in this world... You will learn to be so much stronger if you follow me... Wouldn't you like... Ceon... to see the strength in his... Layna?...' Oh god, how she wished so hard for that. But that was one thing that she wouldn't say. If she said her wish, then it wouldn't come true. And she wanted it to so badly.

Layna bit down forcefully on her lip, feeling it break the skin. She wasn't strong. She was just a weak little lycan girl who couldn't even take care of herself without someone else's help. But how could she say that out loud? It would just upset Ceon.

Ceon looked over at Kuro, still holding Layna. "Umm... sure. What do you need?" Ceon was unaware that Kuro was a vampire, but he could smell something fishy was in the air.

"I`ve never seen anything like it" An idea springs into Kuro`s head and he exposes his teeth. "It looked kinda human, but I don`t think it was. Probably some rabied bum, he also bit me here." He touched the right of his neck, the blood from his hand drips down his closed wound.
