It's ridiculous fun interacting with all the other mods, but damn, does it ever suck when you're actually doing your job. You make the position of moderator seem so evil and so hard. And apparently a lot of people like to say "it causes a ton of stress" and so they end up going on long hiatuses from being a mod. Pfft. You're all overreacting. The job isn't that hard. And I probably see worse than goatse daily. So it's not that big a deal in that field either. I really don't see what the problem is~

Mods are one of the most under-appreciated people on Gaia. They are the people who make the site lovable and enjoyable. They are the filters that keeps the sane part of Gaia sane.

I don't know what to say on the mod issue.....mostly that I respect them and that I know I don't wanna be one..... XD I couldn't handle the responsibility.

Oh my GOD! mokubahv turned my guild into a hell house! She locked everything to get everyone to vote in a stupid poll telling everyone to donate to the avatar Morrowind Guild for donations...
I lost two pages of members thanks to this! Plus my stupid brother PMed everyone telling them forcefully to vote! gonk

The stupid is overwhelming. You try spending three days explaining a single concept to somebody, who insists they're right based on the word of somebody who doesn't even have a Gaia account. You try explaining why being funny doesn't make trolls exempt from the exact same punishment as unfunny trolls. You try putting up with people accusing you of neglecting your duty because you were busy doing your duty.
