Focht smirks listening for any more soldiers coming or Zephs.

"Now..... Where are Zero's and my weapons Mastema?"

Shadow rose from the ground with his new form concealed and merely closed his eyes and whispered the two katana's true names. Both of the blades which had been left where they had fallen glowed slightly. Shadow moved to each and picked it up then went to where his former body had incinerated itself and poked through the ashes and earth until he located the sheathes.

He sheathed the swords and placed them on his back having to adjust the strap slightly to take his new form's broader shoulders into account. He then turned and looked around at the site of a truly fun battle. He smiled softly.

Focht shrugs having known that it was a shot in the dark.

"Kai, go on and go.....I caused this I will take the punishment...."

*smirks* How about this *Out of nowhere, a Zeph comes around the corner at lightning speed and stabs his Souunga at Focht's lower back*

Shadow stretched slowly and started to turn his back and leave before pausing. He had heard much of this Mastema but no one had said more than either "master" or "Evil b*****d". It was time he did something to remedy his ignorance. He moved to the edge of the barrier and summoning one of his few precious souls that he now had sent it to run into the barrier several times as a type of knock.

I wonder if I can actually meet him and find out what's going on around here. He thought to himself as the soul was repeatedly repelled. He then summoned it back to himself and waited arms crossed and eyes partially closed.

Zeph: *one Zeph clad in gray, loose clothing and a red scarf/sash comes out of the barrier and glares at Shadow* State_your_business stare

*Mastema grins as the two pass out. He steps out of the barrier and picks both up under his arms. He carries them both to a room and sets them both on the bed. He grins evilly. He places both facing each other and puts Focht's arm around Kai's shoulder and Kai's arm around Focht's waist* That should start something twisted *He walks out of the room, letting Focht bleed, fortunately his organs were fine though*

Shadow nodded to the Zeph and said in a calm tone. Sorry to trouble you but I'm curious about what Mastema's purpose is. I'm not talking detailed plans here merely goals. All I ever hear is people cursing him or calling him master and I want to know why.

As he speaks he looks the Zeph over having rarely seen such a creature in the last few decades. It made him miss his precious night hounds. He then continued in the same tone. I recently came to this area and I don't know all that is going on. I don't particularly wish to join Mastema just understand why I'm on a side against him.
