She smiled softly to Kibakichi and bowed her head quietly. A new maid had entered into the okiya, looking nervous and rather dismayed. Iyasu's eyes fluttered over to the girl's direction and warmed to see a new face in the okiya.
"Excuse me, Kibakichi-san. I will be with you in a moment." The geisha said to one she cared for before crossing over the tea room to Inari. She bowed to the girl and smiled. "Konban wa, I am Iyasu. I am one of the geisha here. What is your name, dear girl?" Her voice was kind and calm. Being in a new place was very scary and all at once very exciting. She had been there herself once as a maiko.

Yokome nodded to Akyio as she was dancing, because Yokome also had to concentrate on her shamisen playing. She carefully plucked the strings with accuracy...making sure each note was in tune.

Outside of the okiya, Umeko fiddled with the folds of her skirts to see if there was any leftover snacks or candies she found...>.> Finding just one small prune candy...she unwrapped it and ate it.
*exhales*
"Ikuyo~~~"
She runs up to the door and knocks on it...and is led into the okiya....

The girl seemed silent. She shook her head and left her there, until another new face had appeared.
"Good evening, young lady." Iyasu said to the girl, "I am Iyasu, a geisha here. What is your name?" She smiled warmly to the new maid.

A beautiful geisha came and greeted her at the entrance. Her name was Iyasu. It was a nice name and it matched her serene aura.
Umeko approached Iyasu and bowed. "My name is Umeko. Nice to meet you~" She then raised her head a bit and smiled back sweetly. :]

Yokome ended the dance with an abrupt note on her shamisen.
"Wonderful job Akiyo." she said to the young maiko.
"It seems as though you are just about ready to make your debut." the geisha said as she wrapped a velvet cloth around her shamisen and placed it in its wooden case.

Tired Popo retreated to her room. She undressed from the Teahouse and removed her makeup. Exhausted, she plopped down upon her futon on her back. She looked up at the ceiling and simply stared.
Popo thought about her night and was just plumb confused about the whole ordeal. She wondered about her future and how she would ever come to like such strange and rude people.
As she pondered these things, Popo slowly fell asleep. heart

Iyasu gave the girl a respectable bow in return. As she stood up her younger sister, Tanpopo, had returned from the tea house and retired to her room. Her other younger sister, Luna, would be back soon.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Umeko-chan." She nodded to her. "The maid's quarters are to your left down the walkway and the kitchen is in the back. The upstairs houses Okaa-san, the geisha and maiko here."

Luna entered on her own refusing help from any maids. After getting the kimono removed and cleaning off the makeup she went to her room making sure not to see Iyasu int he hallway, the last thing she wanted was for Iyasu to see her crying. Laying on ehr futon she let the tears fall wrapping the blanket around her and ignoring the fact she would mess up her hair.

From the out burst at the tea house, Iyasu was upset with the rude group of geisha and the outburst Luna displayed in front of them. The geisha excused herself from the maid and headed upstairs to her room, expecting Luna to be there. She paused at her room door and looked to the room across from hers . . .
"Luna-chan?" She asked as she quietly knelt before the door. "May I speak with you?"

Umeko stood up and listened to Iyasu's directions and bowed as she left towards the upstairs quarters after the other geisha...
She stood there in confusion for a moment and headed towards the back of the house to check out the kitchen.

Yokohana nodded in agreement to the coment of the dance being wounderful, then hearing the word danna she felt her cheeks burn, even at the thought of that ever happening too her, even thought she knew the question was directed to Yokome.
