Ceon licked the remainder of the blood off Layna's face with his lycan tounge, the fur on his face brushing up against her face.

Layna laughed softly, gently pushing his head away. "You're right." She said, smiling slightly at Ceon. "Just have to move on." She was comforted by this man, this wolf of her own kind. It had been a long time since she was ever comfortable around her own kind, but this man didn't seem to hold grudges at all.

Ceon turned into his human form, slipping on his jacket."Would you care to get a drink with me?"

Layna nodded, standing up and wiping the snow off her pants. "Yes, I would." She said, with a bright smile. She had gone from being happy, to sad, and now she had gone full circle, and was quite happy again.

Ceon smiled brightly. He felt very comfortable around Layna. "Okay, let's get going." Ceon held her hand, walking her out of the park.

Ceon carried Layna through the park and set her down against the trunk of a tree. Ceon sat down and hugged her, transforming into his lycan form.

Layna opened her eyes once more, now dry. She felt fur beneath her fingers, and sleep flew past. "Ceon?" She said, her voice slightly confused. She looked at the Lycan beside her, and knew it was Ceon. She wrapped her arms around the large wolf's neck. "Thank you, oh god."

Ceon licked her cheek, trying to comfort her. Ceon nestled up against her, warming her with his fur.

She burrowed her face into his fur. She was, in truth, not completely sad. For she was not completely alone. "Ceon...If I say words that deep inside I truly mean, would I push you away?" She asked, her voice holding a note of fear.

Layna whispered the words, her voice nearly inaudible. "I...care for you." She once again burrowed her face, thinking she had perhaps spoke some tabooed words.

Layna shuddered slightly as he leaned closer to her. "I-I'm glad.....that y-you do." She stammered.
