Layna raised her head, blood barely visible on her black fur. She grinned her wolfish smile. "Nearly two years, and you?" She said, redirecting the question.

Layna sniffed at the man's stomach, and bit into the soft flesh, bearing steamy warmth to the cold air.

Jasie smiled at Devilboy, “I-I… I’ll be ok.” she finally said to him, as he asked about her status, in fighting Alex.
As Jasie grabbed Devilboy’s shirt she grinned at Devilboy, “Did you like what you seen?” she laughingly said in amusement and with a raised eye brow.
Jasie quickly pulled on the shirt and then threw on her trench coat. “Thanks.” Jasie whispered to Devilboy.
Jasie noticed Db’s wounds and she frowned at, exposing them to the coldness from her ,taking his shirt.
“Are you ok?” she asked casually and began listening tentatively to her surroundings for Alex and his next attack.

"Ok,thats good."He said with a slight smile."Take wild guess and your welcome."He said laughing."Not to be a killjoy but you should focus on the fight right now.As for me I'm fine,the wounds arn't completly healed but they won't be bleeding any time soon."He peered into the darkness searching for Alex,he wants to kil him now.Alex really pissed him off.

Layna raised her head, licking the bit of blood from her fur. She nodded slightly. "Kamahl's been gone a while, so I don't think he'd mind much.I've got an apartment above his shop." She said, feeling her fur recede slowly back to pink flesh and clothing.

She stood up on the straight legs of humans, and pulled a har tie from her pocket. "Perhaps we can bury him in the snow. When it melts in spring, all evidence of how he died will be....unnoticed." She wrapped the tie in her hair, pulling it back from her face. She smiled. "Or we can throw him in the river, and say he drowned, and the fishes got him."

Layna blinked. The question was unexpected. "He's a friend of mine. He's always been very protective of me." She said with a sigh. "A big brother of sorts. But he's always away on business, so I try and mind the shop." She grinned then, for even though she was kind, she was mischievious in the same light.

"I believe back to Russia for a while." She said, sitting back down in the snow. She looked up at the moon, her eyes catching a distant look. "A lot of my friends are gone now." She said, her voice sad.

"I know how it feels. My family has been gone for 275 years." Ceon noted the sadness in her voice and walked over to her, wiping some of the blood off her cheek. "The pain lessenns over time."

"It does. But it still hurts." She said, lowering her eyes. "My mother died at the hands of a rampaging vampire. I was barely 3. My father was the Lycan, he turned me when I was 5." She felt tears welling in her eyes. "And I got a letter a few weeks ago, saying my father has died. He told me not to return...."
