I nod in thanks, fetch my stuff, strap them where they belong, and take my old armor to the counter in hopes of using it as part of the payment.

Day Four, 8:00 AM Everyone:After another twelve minutes, everyone is ready to go. You all take the teleporters down to the surface, where the vampire is waiting for new challengers. He waves lazily. Tasson turns to you all. "Okay, so we can go almost directly northeast and only have to turn from that path towards the end," he says. "That path will also take us through a major city, which may or may not be captured by the Reds. What do we do?"

At the edge of the lake, you notice an odd girl sitting with her lower half submerged and her top half above water. She is facing away from you all, and has long blond hair that reaches halfway down her back. You cannot tell if she is clothed or not, and you also can't see her lower half at all through the water.

I eye the girl curiously as she beckons to us all. I want to approach, but for the sake of caution, I pause so that I can concentrate and see if I can detect any magical energy coming from the girl or the lake itself.
