Fyrin turned to him. "I showed him the truth," he stated simply. "I suppose you think I'm something evil. You're right, but not the way you think," Fyrin told him. said Robert. He sounded exhausted. Why not?! Paul cried, but his question went unanswered.

Alan kept the Moonblade at his side. "If it's not the way I think, then... enlighten me," Alan challenged.

"I mean you well," Fyrin told him calmly. "There is no betrayal here. I've... changed, somewhat. Forsaken my insanity."

"Forsaken it, have you?" Alan asked. "And why should we believe that?"

Robert panted.
Fyrin shrugged. "I have no evidence." He sounded defeated.

"Fair enough. Prove it by your deeds," Alan answered, his knife dissolving into the shadows along his arm, explaining where he kept it.

((Haha, sorry. I was kinda... screwed...))
Fyrin gave the closest he could to a sigh. "Very well," he replied tiredly.
Paul tried to stand, but found his limbs were rubber. The feeling of having the Warlock Soul ripped from his body... it wasn't pleasant.

Marco glared at Renard as he popped the majority of his joints simultaneously. The itching he banished with a brief wave of magic, used to dull his nerves until the itching stopped. Joe stood between the two, looking back and forth, until he felt the mana stop and the two looked away from each other. "Good," he murmured. Paul emerged from the wall and Joe raised a hand in greeting. The events unfolded rapidly, and Joe again found himself considering stepping between two people in as many minutes, but they ended before he had decided. He had walked over to pick up his destroyed glasses, and so was in an ideal position to help Paul to his feet anyways. "Man, these were my favorite glasses," he said with a small smile. He glanced over his shoulder at Fyrin and suppressed a shiver. That had been creepy.

Paul tried to grin back, but he didn't feel up to it. He tried to let Joe help him up, but dead weight was a lot harder to lift than Joe had expected. Although Paul was trying to help, his considerable weight was impeding their progress, and Joe only barely managed to help him up. Even so he seemed unsteady, almost as though he was unwilling to stand.

Joe grunted. "Hooo boy!" He kept a hand on his shoulder, in case he should fall again. "You OK?" he asked quietly.

"Joe..." Paul asked slowly. "Has Roland ever been torn from your body? Not just pushed aside, ripped out." He shuddered slightly. "It's bad. It... opens your minds to parts you don't want to see." His third eye was suddenly in the dome again. The dome was trying to fix its polished surface, but the maelstrom without it beat upon it. It was slow going. He rapidly shut his third eye. "That's what Fyrin did. I don't suppose he had a non-fatal choice, but..."

Joe was at a loss. He let Paul speak, aiding him and comforting him (Joe thought) by slowly giving him a bit of mana. That usually worked. He also unconsciously moved himself more firmly between Fyrin and Paul.

Paul shook his head. "Don't wanna do that again," he grunted. The mana helped, he supported his own weight a little more securely.
