The ultimate goal of dating is finding a suitable mate to have children with. That's kind of the whole point to life.

I don't agree with sheltering kids with things like mandatory age ratings, since every kid has a different level of maturity for their age. I was a huge South Park fan when I was 13, and it didn't have any rea; negative effects on me. My fandom of it only changed me from a shy girl to a popular girl in high school. On the other hand, many people these days are practically retarded and shouldn't be allowed to do anything.

I mean, another example, I was always offered the oppertunity to drink small ammounts of alchohol when I was little. A small glass of wine or champange durring the holidays, a sip of my dad's beer when he was watching football games. Because I was allowed to drink it, I know what it tastes like and I know what the buzz feels like, so it's not mysterious or cool to me. A lot of kids will go to a bar on thier 21st birthday, and as soon as the clock hits midnight, will drink non-stop until they pass out in a puddle of thier own puke. Or, they'll make fake IDs or get older friends to buy alchohol for them, and drink in secret. And drinking too much at once completely ruins the enjoyment of alchohol, so instead of being satisfied with one glass, you'll need several to feel a good buzz. But me? I'm 20, and live by myself in my grandma's old house, where there's a fully stocked wine cabnet and a fridge full of my uncles beer. I could easily drink till it runs out, but I have absolutely no desire to. When I turn 21, I'll probally have one alchoholic drink, probally something silly like a strawberry daquri (mmm... and thoes things are good without alchohol too), just for the hell of it. Or maybe I'll try a good Japanese beer if they take me to a Japanese steak house on my birthday. I imagine, if I had been restricted from alchohol my whole life, I would want to get shitfaced drunk on my 19th birthday (drinking age in Canada, which I can see from my houe) or would have gotten addicted by drinking in secret behind my parents back.

The drinking age is absolutely stupid in america anyway. 18 years old to be drafted in die in your country, 21 before you can drink.

There would be no need for age restrictions of parents were more responcible. My mom wasn't afraid to talk to me about things, so I wasn't ignorant. Ignorance leads to bad choices, which was why I was a good girl who made few mistakes growing up. Meanwhile, all of the stupid kids on my street have to say a swear word every five seconds, and incorrect swear words at that (it's almost hilarious how many of thoes midgits use the word "whore" without knowing what it means). And then you realize why when you hear their white trash parents screaming "shut the ******** up and get inside right now, you little p***k!" at them when they ask if they can go to a friends house to play.
