As Guy walked about the city he would notice the place had for the most part been turned into a swamp, more than likely from the presence of the many Tympole, Palpitoad, and Seismitoad, Water and Ground Pokemon that made the city their home for a good while. On top of that there was much rubble from the various buildings that were destroyed in the string of earthquakes caused by the Pokemon but on the plus side there was also a lot of construction going on, to rebuild the city. It wouldn't take Guy long though to find the gym, it was a short walk away from the Pokemon Center.

Meanwhile, Sub turned to face Dan and waved at the trainer. "Ice Beam? Oh does it work?" He said scratching his head. "Why do you ask? Trying to teach a Pokemon how to use it?" He said recalling the time he taught Lenore, his Weavile the move.

"Oh, well then." He said folding his arms and looked down at the Dewott in question. "It's a little tricky to teach non-Ice types a move like Ice Beam which is pure concentrated freezing energy in the form of a beam. Though Dewott is a Water type so it shouldn't be as hard since the two types are close cousins, for the most part." He said cracking his neck. "Tell me, can Rain use any Ice moves?" He asked.

"Ah, okay then. Well..." Sub said thinking for a moment. "Okay, Rain." He said as he got down on his knees so he could look the otter in the face. "Of course you remember how to use Water Gun, right? It's really the same concept, you are concentrating your natural energy into your mouth to form and expel water. But in the case of Ice Beam, you'll be changing things up a bit, instead you'll be altering your energy into a different state." He then realized he was getting too technical and start to think for a moment. "Hm...I got it!" He said standing up to face Dan now. "Come with me." He said walking off.

Sub stopped right in front of the training room as his SNAG went off and he listened to GRAY. "Oh, well dang. I was going to simulate an arctic environment with the training room for Rain to understand the cold better. I'll get back to you on that later, we got a lady waiting." He said as he headed back to the main room, teleporting away to Striaton City via Claydol.

Sub soon appeared back at HQ, glad that they all made it out of that building before crazy lady blew it sky high. "Man, that woman is insane." He grunted as he shook his head.

Odd and Lykas arrived with Sub and simply sighed in relief.

After a moment or two, Lykas spoke up. "So, did Knux get that journal we found to you?" he asked as he looked over to the black-haired man.

"You found something else?" Odd asked, when he heard that. "Oh! Did you get the vial to Fennel?"

"Yep!" Lykas offered a thumbs up to Odd and a wink in assurance. "Didn't have long to chat with her, though. I got Sub's message regarding the big bang right after I got there to give it to her."

"Nah, give her to Dorkfish," Night said, climbing onto Tatsu's back while keeping a tight hold onto one of the two remaining monkeys, "Or maybe Ouro, both would likely enjoy a crazy meal like that. Anyways, I'll return shortly, just going to drop these two off by the pokemon center and, I guess, let them decide what next to do with them. Later."

Without another word, the two made their way outside before Tatsu lifted into the air to take Night and the pokemon towards the nearby center.



Michael, meanwhile, simply sank into the nearest chair and released his new Pansage, "Interesting looking thing, isn't she?" Gently, he placed his hand on the sage's head and gave her a small pat, "Now to give you a name..."
