Hearing shrieks in the distance, Bug slowly lowered in the wagon, her heart thumping. The scream itself made her jump, but the fact that someone was in trouble wasn't that surprising. Taking in a breath, she grabbed a lantern fixed besides her and slowly stood up. The fire in the lantern was growing thin which began to make it harder to see through the darkness.
Her normal instict was to hide in the wagon and begin whimpering for her life, but this was different. It was some gut feeling knowing everything was going to be okay. Taking a pocketknife out of her pocket (not that she could stab a ghost pokemon or anything), she slipped out of the wagon and into the night with the dim lantern light leading the way.

 Lamen shook her head, still horrified. Effie's question surprised her a lot more than if the trainer had decided to punch her in the face a couple of times. Well, she was grateful that wasn't the case, but she certainly deserved it- and she had dragged Alastair into her mistake as well! How horrid a person she had been.
"Yeah... yeah, I saw the ghosts." She smiled meekly, not feeling proud or happy about it at all. "And I heard them too. But it wasn't worth what I did to you. I'm really, really sorry. And I'm sorry to you too, Alastair."
Lamen helped Effie get up, thinking it was time they head back.
"I don't think we should continue this. Let's stop here. It won't happen again, this I promise."
Lamen was in the middle of condemned herself and trying to think of ways to make it up to the two trainers, when she noticed a light in the distance. It must be someone come from the camp, she thought.

"Well, I've heard some Pokemon just don't like humans at all, even after they're caught," Riza said, puffing up a bit to defend herself. She deflated rather quickly, however, and sped up a bit to get just a little closer to Kai, who seemed to know what she was doing.
"W-well, no! But I mean, we were attacked earlier, and during the day too. What if it happens again? Don't stronger Pokemon come out at night sometimes? Especially ghost type...." she shuddered slightly at the thought of it, a bit of paranoia kicking in. What if they went to sleep and something ate them? Or worse--nightmares.
She shook her head as if the shake off the bad thoughts and focused on the trees. She nodded at Kai's comment, and asked, "Does the wind do that...howling? That's rather peculiar. It sounds nice though..."
After a brief pause, she added, "Do you ever get scared at all?" simply out of curiosity. Though personally she couldn't really picture a 'scared Kai'. Then again, she had been wrong about her Absol.

 Fin decided she might as well pack it in for the night, still not having quite recovered from the effects of the Girafarig's Confuse Ray, on top of not having gotten much sleep the night before. The trainer didn't even have the energy to find or eat a full meal, so she dug out a granola bar from one of the food boxes and brought it with her into her sleeping bag, on the wagon's floor. She wondered why she hadn't thought to stay in the wagon the past two nights – it would've saved her a lot of grief. Caddie crawled into the sleeping bag beside her, and Fin fed the Delibird the last bite of her granola bar. The Pokémon cooed appreciatively. "G'night, girl." Fin stroked Caddie's head, then curled herself around the Delibird and buried her face into her soft feathers.

"Haaaai-YAAAH!" Bug jumped forward at the three trainers, waving her pocketknife around. She had some plan to frighten away any pokemon that may have attacked, so she was unaware how awkward she looked dancing and screaming around with a knife.
This showed she was obiously unexperienced in the field of pokemon.
As she swung the lantern forward, she realized three trainers that looked familiar from around camp. Stepping back, she flicked her 'weapon' back inside her pocket and blushed, quickly regretting what she had done.
"Is everything okay?" she whispered out, trying to force a smile.

Hellfire made her way back to her trainer after searching for a bit, only to find that she had fallen asleep...but still shaking and crying. 'Naruto..she can't handle this...Sure, she's tough but not this tough...'
Naruto nodded, making sure his tails covered her. Poor thing...they were older than her but they kept messing up. If only they were here...

 Once more she chuckled as she bent down to pick up a few twigs, "Then I suggest you get a pokémon with a likable personality. ...Either that or get a likable personality yourself." She pointed at her with the stick, not wanting to seem threatening but could be interpreted in a different manner.
"Heh, why, are you scared we'll be attacked? Don't you have enough faith in me that you'll be fine with me around?" She stepped closer to the girl, looming above her with devious smirk.
She took a step back, picking up more kindling. "No, the howling doesn't bother me, it's just growlithe and arcanine howling into the night." Kailana paused, stick in hand, "...If I did get scared, why would I tell you? Is that why you're being like this?" She looked down towards her iron boots, "Abyss, please give us some light."
The mareep's bob of a tail began to glow a bright light blue light.
"There, do you feel less scared now? Enough to get us back to camp?"

For the most part, Alastair stood off to the side, feeling a little awkward about all of this female bonding going on. It was enough to make a guy feel left out, that’s what it was. But, Effie’s question, when she finally spoke, completely baffled him at a championship Baffling Level. “…Lamen and I just left you alone in the middle of the Howling Forest, and you want to know if we saw the ghost?” he asked, completely surprised. Then again… if she was already asking that, then she already figured out that Lamen was just using her for a lure, which saved everyone a lot of explaining all around.
“Uh… yeah. Yeah, we saw it,” he lied, feeling not-very-guilty about this lie. A glowing ball of light attracted his attention soon enough and he squinted at it. “… I don’t want to alarm anyone… but there seems to be a rather spooky ball of light heading our way…” he said slowly, unsure of whether or not this was cause for alarm. It certainly felt like it, especially in this place.
“…We should… uhh… get back to camp now.”

"That...makes sense...." Riza said, furrowing her brows in a thinking look. Maybe she should stop asking stupid questions....or at least stop asking questions with obvious answers so she wouldn't seem so stupid.
She looked down and turned a bit red, a bit embarrassed not only because she felt like she had again slightly insulted Kai, but also because she was so...tall; it made her feel like a scolded child with Kai looming like that.
"Um...well...that's not exactly what I meant. I-I mean, I'm rather glad you don't mind me hanging around you. It's more comfortable than being alone, and y-you do make me feel safer," Riza smiled up at Kai, trying to articulate herself correctly.
She looked down again, thinking for a moment, then looked back towards Kai, who had backed off a bit, "N-no, I mean...like when you were little or something. I'd always hide under the covers at night when I heard strange sounds...." Riza trailed of, blinking as Abyss' light came on.
"Oh, your Mareep can do that too? That's amazing..." she gasped, staring at the soft light, "Oh, and yes, thanks you."
The smaller trainer smiled gently, and watched Kai for a moment, thinking, then said quietly, "Do you want any help with anything? I can be somewhat useful at time, yknow?"

His eyes fell on the other male, the ninetails he had met last night. Maybe he shouldn't go and talk to her just yet..?

Man. Alastair's short summary really wasn't helping her conscience. Meanwhile, Lamen was squinting at the light with the worried idea that it could also be another Confuse Ray attack, when someone suddenly jumped out with a knife, causing her to jump. "WHOA- oh. Hi. Why were you... um... doing that?" She asked Bug, confused indeed. In a kindof freaked out way.
(( *braindead* No more RP for me today... everyone returns to camp or whatever you want to do while pretendig I'm still there or back at camp if they want, tralalaa. xDD Sorry. <3 ))

 [[8D;; *too lazy to backread* Meeka poked Heila who was sniffing at Ebba. Everywhere Ebba had walked to get away from her, she would. "What's up Heila?" she asked. But Heila just wagged her tail and continued to follow. Finally, Heila bit Ebba's leg. Ebba just stared at her and tried to shake her off. "Stant." he said. Heila replied while still on his leg. "Hound." Meeka tilted her head. Pokemon were weird.
