Had to slip in and post this whee SOmetimes, patience really pays off heart - I've been waiting on a commission for Artoki for a while now (originally ordered two last Xmas season, she finished hte first one a few months ago, and gave me the option of cutting losses on the 2nd, but I decided to be patient - I still wanted the art, etc. So I just heard an update from her, and an apology on the delays, but she drew this for me as a 'thanks for patience/apology on delay' kinda thing heart

CG- I agree, I think usually that's what keeps me from getting that sort of art.. but every once in awhile I get a hankering of sort. I think I have 3 or 4 in my big ol' collection of art.

lol, people here are so angry when it comes to auctions. XD;.... Me, I only hold auctions, haha, since at shops, you're more likely to be overworked. A lot more likely. I've never been a more-than-five joint auction fan, though. It's harder to deal with. But not all are bad, I think P9 and the Thai auction have had pretty good turnouts for their commissioners. Kellion failed partly, I hear. My thoughts is that it depends on who's in the auction and stuff (and what they're offering. I tend to shirk away from larger commissions because I'm afraid i'll run out of inspiration - probably like Michelle). You've got to think about personality et al. But you see, when you commission someone, you gotta know their working time, so you should ask them. Mine's aruond three months (another reason why I get/take so few). I dunno, I feel like now, I'm just playing Devil's Advocate, but I'm just saying there's always measured risk in anything businesswise and not all auctions are evil.
Holyshizz. i want Kirikoart. Y_Y; I realy love Paquito's realism, Chemie. And Sabin! YAY! XD I cancelled our commission for NM minis because it seems liked it'd be too hard on her with all her professional work.
